Walking into Kikili house for the first time after a sleepless night and a long humid drive from Colombo, I was pleasantly treated to the most amazing hospitality ever! A quaint little place this, I was immediately soaking into the atmosphere of this charming home. I was shown this beautiful room that housed a four poster bed, something that screams...

Owner is really fun and full of stories and tips. The room we had was very cute and also functional. Nice combo! Good location within walking or short tuk tuk distance of Fort. Lovely peaceful garden. Only downside was no sri lankan breakfast as the cook was a bit late in having done a huge catering event the day before....

A house that is made to feel your home with a wonderful decor and a bit quirky. Henri and Corky are full of life and the staff were amazingly helpful. A short tuk tuk ride down to the fort from the B&B for 200 rupees and not far from the railway station if you are travelling by train. A lovely...

Vibrant decor in fab double bedroom with en suite, excellent food and caring staff. An easy walk into Galle Fort. Delicious egg hoppers on the menu with good coffee for breakfast. What more could you want. Loved our stay. We'll be back.

This is a wonderful quirky, homely place to stay within a very short tuktuk ride to the Old Fort. The staff go out of their way to make you welcome and nothing is too much trouble for them, you only have to ask. The rooms have every home comfort required and Ann, who manages the place is delightful and full...

We stayed for 2 nights at the end of December and would have enjoyed at least a few more days. Wonderful and quirky, good food, quiet yet not far from the fort, helpful staff......It was perfect for us. They can direct you to a wonderful yoga outdoor studio.

My husband and I were here for 3 nights of which one was Independence Day..... a busy time in Galle!! I believe Kikili translates as "hen" in Sri Lankan and each room is named after a breed of chicken. Incidentally, the owners name is Henri (Henrietta perhaps and Hen for short). The home is hard to describe...quirky doesn't quite fit...

Fabulous few days at beginning of December in the company of Henri, Korky and Bob. Lovely place, super comfortable and great to simply hang out in the garden chatting. Intimate and quirky, no coach loads and great advice and guidance. Would definitely spend more time there if I could.
