Really nice boutique hotel to stay. Rooms are nice and so are staff. Stayed for 3 nights. Food takes time, however overall a recommended hotel to stay in.This is close to the beach and is next to bigger hotels. The rooms are very quaint and well designed.

The first thing that hits you as you enter through the narrow lanes is the fusion of Art and Architecture. You immediately get a feel of being in a bohemian chic kinda place. The rooms are well laid out and have nice decks, day beds to lounge and enjoy the tropical weather. The bathing accessories like shower gels, shampoos, lotion...

Because: this property is magnificent. The Geoffrey Bawa architecture is stunning, and the whole complex is gorgeous. Breakfast was wonderful. However: - We had a tiny "Room with No View." There was indeed a small sitting area, but it was not air conditioned and there were plenty of mosquitoes. It was up a steep and narrow staircase. - Dinner was...

Dear ChinaFanNYC, Thank you for taking the time to review our property. We are glad to hear you enjoyed the architecture of Paradise Road The Villa Bentota and our breakfast. Our outdoor spaces for Suites without garden views unfortunately cannot be air conditioned and mosquitoes are an unavoidable circumstance of our climate. The small staircase to reach your room is...

The hotel is very nice, beautiful rooms, swimming pool. Close to beach. Staff in general very friendly. However we found it too noisy. Mainly because of the train (until 1am and starting at 4:30am), but also due to the neighbours

Dear G B, Thank you for taking the time to review our property. We are glad that you enjoyed the hotel, the rooms and the facilities available at Paradise Road The Villa Bentota. On occasions the rentable villa neighbouring the property does throw a late party, but this is quite seldom and we do regret that this disturbed you during...

A beautiful hotel, in a fabulous setting, and service which is off the scale. The hotel itself and the rooms are beautifully finished, and the gardens are so peaceful, it really is a fabulous spot to chill out and relax (especially if like us, it is the first stop after arriving off a long flight). 24 hours here and it...

Wow, just amazing! We spent two nights here and just loved it. Great food - best I found in Sri Lanka - the gnocchi and seafood pasta were superb. Great pool with enough chairs for everyone. Small boutique hotel that is really exotic. The architecture and interior design by Geoffrey Bawa is just amazing - worth a look inside even...

We stayed here 2 nights, one of which was an extra night as we could not tear ourselves away from this heavenly hotel. We swam at the beach which is across the railway line and watched the trains packed to the rafters go by. Everything was done perfectly. The hotel was designed by Geiffrey Bawa and so is very beautiful....

Our 2 night stay here literally was 'paradise at the end of the road'. It was the perfect ending to our 20 day Sri Lankan holiday, made even more special by a room upgrade! Originally converted in to a boutique hotel by Geoffrey Bawa in the 70s, it has been beautifully refurbished and is truly stunning in a very understated...

We stayed here towards the end of our Sri Lanka holiday for 5 days and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is small (only 15 rooms), there are quite a few lounges where you can relax and two beautiful swimming pools - the gardens are immaculate. The hotel is full of items from the collection of the Chairman Shanth Fernando who...

This hotel is EVERYTHING one would expect from a luxury hotel. We felt utterly secluded as the grounds have so many beautiful nooks to hide away in meaning you could spend hours without seeing another soul. The interior design is exquisite. The small touches such as bringing out a light snack at late afternoon to the pool without being asked...
