This is a small court yard type place with 16 traditional hanok B&Bs. The owner is very friendly and speaks great English. We were given a choice of hanoks, we chose number 1. Atmosphere is calm and relaxing. Was worried about possible night noise, but there was nothing, very peaceful. Stayed here for two nights. Taxi from KTX station 17000. Location great, walking distance of attractions and some great restaurants literally 2 mins walk. You could throw a stone to the Tumuli Park and the ancient mounds, which you can see as you have breakfast. Breakfast was simple but healthy. Boiled eggs toast, fruit, coffee or green tea. Bathroom small- a wet room with a hand shower off the sink.

Obviously you sleep on the floor, which we got used to, but two nights were enough for me personally.

Great freindly service, great location and a great authentic experience.

traditional style houses, looks new, just next to the main kings tombs park. We took the family room, quite large and cosy, sleeping on the floor traditional style. Kids loved it all, and enjoyed the usual traditional costume wearing proposed in the guesthouse. Simple but sufficient breakfast which we took at one of the tables î the courtyard.
Plenty of restaurants and food around, including the cosy typical Korean restaurant just next door (Do Sol Maeul), and walking distance to bus terminal and train station (not the KTX one which is far from the city).
The place is both quiet and with evening activities nearby.
The best place of our Korean trip, we wish we could have staid longer.
The bathroom is however really small.

I stayed in this hotel for one night. The sleeping room of the cabin is big enough that you can stretch out on the floor, but that’s it. Remember, you sleep on the floor. The only furnishings are a tiny fridge and a stick that’s hug from the wall with two hangers on it.
The small bathroom has a toilet, sink and showerhead. So, when you shower, you will make much of the bathroom wet.
Breakfast was included in the room rate. The owner, who speaks good English, prepared a plate with a couple of fruit and tomato slices for me. There was self-serve bread, butter, strawberry marmalade, hard boiled eggs and a couple of Korean dishes, instant coffee powder, tea bags and orange juice.
Tumuli Park is right across the street, but the entrance is a 5-10min walk and the Cheomseongdae Observatory in within walking distance.
Please be advised that it is essential to print out the address in Korean if you take a taxi. Even with my printout, taxi drivers had problems finding the address on their GPS.

Location was great, right next to the royal tombs. We arrived by train and the guest house is within walking distance (probably about a mile) of the station. Owner was extremely pleasant and helpful. Room was as advertised and clean, with a small dorm fridge and a kettle for hot water. We were there on the weekend when there were a lot of tourists walking around the neighborhood and it was still very quiet in our room at night.

We visited this traditional Hanok for one night (enough for us westerners not used to sleeping on mats on the floor). We really loved both the place and the experience. Guesthouse is very central. And even quiet at night in old town in Gyeongju. Tumuli park is literally across the street! Cafes and restaurants just around the corner. Room (family room) wad squeaky clean and included a very fresh though small bathroom. Floor heating, air conditioner and fridge in room. Street parking was available, but was tight, so may require a skilled driver/small car. The guesthouse is run by very friendly family. Nice touch with fresh fruits for breakfast. We were very happy with our stay!
