Gyeongju was the capital of the ancient Sila Kingdom (57BC-935AD). There are 3 UNESCO World Heritage attractions: Bulguksa Temple, Seokguram Grotto & Gyeongju Historic Areas. We visited as tourists and stayed in Commodore Hotel. It is old but reasonably comfortable. The strangest experience relates to mini-towels in the bathroom for shower that are the same size as the hand towels....

Stayed there for 7 nights for an event. I will definitely not going back again. I didn't hear or see they vacuum the carpet. At least 3 people of us got itchy hands and feet since the third night there. All things inside the room is dusty. The bottom of the bathroom door is expanded like a sponge. Only 1...

The hotel is a little old but the rooms are clean and well kept with amenities / toiletries. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It is located adjacent to a beautiful peaceful lake (Bomun Lake), around which you can walk. Classical music was playing in the background. They have mini peddle boats (shape like a swam that you can take...

The rooms at this hotel are dated and a bit worn. There's a consul in between the beds that resembles a 1970's stereo system that controls everything in the room. There is a huge pool outside that looks lovely. It's also within walking distance of a large nice lake and an amusement park. There is also a real, full bar...

This hotel is old and more than a little worn. Timber furniture in rooms is scratched, there is only one pillow in the room per person, there are no facilities for making tea or coffee, the bathroom is small, and the quality of cleaning is suspect (louvres to window were dusty and grimy). The hotel is heavily used by tour...

When you first enter the hotel, the lobby looked nice. When you walk around the property, there is a nice waterfront, but surrounding pitiful restaurants. This was part of the k-shuttle tour. The guide did warn us that the hotel was "old", but I wasn't prepared for their guestrooms. The guide said they chose this hotel because they were the...

The hotel must have been amazing amazing, but today is completely out dated. The rooms smell mold and the carpets are stained. The staff are amazing... but this is not all. The rooms demand renovation as well as the lobby and the restaurant. Wifi is weak and they know that.

We were part of a tour that had an overnight stay at this hotel. The first impression we had was the space of the foyer and reception areas. There were few people around at that time, so perhaps that also added to the sense that this was a very large hotel. Our room was dated, but was adequately furnished with...
