This hotel is very convenient to the busy station with ample connections throughout Korea.

The facilities are a bit limited. At the weekend there was a knock at my room door at 7am. When I answered it there was a guy with my breakfast. During the week the restaurant was open for breakfast. The food selection for breakfast was a bit limited.

There is a coffee shop on the ground floor that is very good and popular with locals.

Located around the hotel are lots of shops etc with a large mall across the street.

The room was clean bed comfortable and the facilities in the room were ample

Stayed at this hotel for 10 nights in Feb. 2015 visiting family and friends. I have decided on this hotel because of the convenience of the express bus terminal just across the street and lots of restaurants around it. There are numerous airport buses run every day to this express bus terminal from Incheon International Airport taking about three hours one way. The language was not a problem for me, but I noticed that the front desk personnel did not speak English. Also, they didn't seem to be overly friendly, especially right after a short trip to Tokyo, Japan (where everybody was very polite and nice.) The room was not equipped with English instructions on how to use TV, phone, thermostat, nor housekeeping. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable with a very nice shower. The bathroom was spacious and tidy. We stayed on 10th floor with the view of town that made extra nice with a nice sunrise in the mornings. You can take a city bus from the hotel side of the street to the train station where you can take a subway to many different areas in Daejeon. Central open market is near train station which is always a good place to look and shop. The bus costs about $1.10 each way, and taxi costs around $4.50 to $5.50 from train station to the hotel. We were able to pick up a public wifi in our room - not secured though. There are several bakeries/coffee shops where you can get simple breakfast, including McDonalds in the bus terminal building. The hotel offers breakfast buffet at about $10 per person downstairs at "Twosome Place" coffee shop in the mornings as well. They give you two bottles of water each day at no cost, but they will charge you if you use some of their toiletry items. There is a small sign telling you how much for each item. Instant coffee and tea station was a nice touch. There is a big supermarket (e-mart) in he bus terminal building second floor if you need to get anything. Overall, this was a very nice place to stay in Daejeon.

I stayed in a deluxe suite on the 12th floor. The view was amazing. Most of the hotel staff do not speak english so communication may be a challnge.wifi is only available at the hotel lobby. Not much variety at breakfast thogh the hotel is right opposite a mall and there are alot of restaurants around. The rooms were clean and adequate with tea/Coffee making facilities. The hotel is walking distance to the bus terminal.

The hotel is just about an average hotel. The linens are clean and the hotel is located at a central location. There is no room service and if you call the house keeping chances are that the Manager will arrive to ask about the problem after 2 hours. Language is a big issue in the hotel and in the whole of Daejeon. The people here understand very little English. The breakfast in the hotel, which is the only meal you can have there, is repetitive. However, there is a coffee shop in the hotel which is very upmarket and there is a Macdonald opposite the hotel open 24 hours. There is a mall opposite the hotel which has restaurants and there are other eating places in the vicinity. The place is safe and the quality of inmates are good. Check in and out process is also quite efficient. Overall average but would not want to stay here again.

Recently stayed at this hotel whilst visiting colleagues Daejeon. The hotel is fairly modern and looks ok. The room was ok with all the facilities needed for business (good wifi) with the exception of a power point for the PC. The only way that I could power my laptop was to disconnect the TV or the wifi router (clearly not an option!). Also when the TV was disconnected, this had some impact on the router - so again not a good option. I have to confess that I found this situation difficult after a long business day. In this modern business world, the lack of a power point adjacent to the desk for the laptop is unacceptable. Also the room telephone could not be used for external calls. Having just lost my cellphone, a telephone was a vital resourse and clearly this hotel did not provide that (although they did let me use the telephone in reception to make a couple of critical calls).
Breakfast was good at a small cafe on the ground floor.

This hotel is very close to the intercity bus terminal(just across the road) so it's convenient to stay when traveling from/to Daejeon. The terminal has a department store, E-mart(huge supermarket franchise) and fast-food franchise.
The room, equipped with a fridge, is absolutely clean and tidy. A double bed room might be slightly small but family room is quiet spacious. The staff are all polite and willing to help you. The hotel has enough parking lot so you don't have to worry about the space.

Booked a room at Hotel Sunshine after a last minute change to my itinerary. Pleasantly surprised to find this place ranks highest of the last three hotels I have stayed - Ramada Plaza (dirty, terrible AC and no wireless), Cheonan Tourist Hotel (clean and quaint but not in the best area) and Lotte Resort in Nonsan (nice room but falling apart - great fried chicken in the basement!).
Hotel Sunshine is clean, new rooms, good location near transportation and Western style food places, no wireless Internet though. No amenities like pool or fitness area though.

Room Tip: Twelfth floor has nice view and nice rooms. Curtains work well to block out early morning sun light.

Have just spent three weeks at this hotel and couldn't fault it. The staff were extremely helpful and although limited English was spoken one English speaking member of staff was usually available to help. Hotel was very clean and conveniently situated.

A big group of us attended our friends wedding in Daejeon and stayed at this hotel. Hotel located across the bus terminal of Daejeon, next to the large shopping mall and Emart. A cafe Twosome Place is attached to the hotel downstairs.

It appears that the hotel specializes and caters to wedding events.

Staff were courteous and spoke English.
The interior of the hotel and rooms were elegant. The standard bedrooms are very big and the bathrooms are a generous size.

Free Wifi available only in lobby area. But free Internet in rooms with your own laptop.

Highly recommended if you are visiting Daejeon.
