Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I used the 4th floor private ensuite room -- a little on the pricey side, but well worth it in my opinion for both privacy and the hostel's excellent location: Being within walking distance to the downtown core and Daegu's vibrant bar/restaurant/cafe scene means not having to worry about catching a cab or bus late at night. The staff are some of the best and friendliest that I've met in Korea and didn't hesitate to accommodate a last-minute change in our travel plans. In general it was a great hostel that I'd use again.

Had a hanok room a couple of blocks away from the main building. Very clean and reasonably priced, staff is really nice and helpful. Location is very good, just a 5 minutes walk from the train station and shopping streets.

We stayed here for 2nights, rooms and beds are clean and wifi in the hostel is good. Breakfast is included but its make your own and only eggs and bread. The staff are nice and helpful, however the price is just far too much for what it is, and yet it was one of the cheapest we could find. I would not recommend it for the price although i would stay here again.

Despite the size of the guesthouse, I found the service pretty well-organized considering. Although they were a bit disorganized about bed numbers (she gave me a bed that was full), it wasn't hard to just take one that was empty. I liked that each bed felt like it's own room in itself - they have a curtain, space for leaving your bags, your own lamp and outlets for phone charging. This was a really nice feature. The bathrooms are very spacious, which makes sharing the space a lot easier and more comfortable. The cafe was quite nice to have available and offered good coffee. I also loved the breakfast - it was a good set up of toast and eggs that we make ourself. I do want to warn about being careful of your belongings. It's crucial that when you're gone, you keep your bags inside your bed area with the curtain CLOSED. My friend did not close his curtain, and thus had his wallet stolen. BE CAREFUL.

I was travelling with 3 friends & needed to put up for a night in this guesthouse. It is clean & quite but with terrible customer service. I just need to ask for an advice on how to get to the subway. The guesthouse customer service answered "Do you think I am a GPS!" What an idiotic experience, just because I am asian you discouted the customer service towards me. Come on... I would never ever recommend anyone of my friends to stay at this place.

Airless warehouse room filled with plywood cubicles. Little security in this kind of place. Many people like the staff and cafe. That's fine but sleeping area is like a barracks or some children's camp for the disadvantaged. Might be worth 12,000 won a night no more. One of the most disappointing rooms I've ever walked into in my travels. Give me a break!

A bit cold in December but still fine. Cafe in the first floor was a great place to make friends. I would love to recommend this place definitely.
