Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

I had low expectations having read reviews but how pleasantly surprised I am. I stay in 5 star hotels around the world. This hotel is on the mark. Great service. Nice rooms although I had to move to the new wing where the casino is to get a room where a/c worked. Beds are comfortable. Water hot and the service is exceptional. What a pleasant surprise

Stayed here only for 1 night. But the breakfast and views from the hotel were awesome! Totally love the savoury foods served at breakfast - roast pork at carving station, perfectly done cod fish, huge range of desserts, abalone and conch Porridge etc. Lovely views of waters around the hotel! Enjoyed my stay here.

We enjoyed our three night stay at the Inter-Burgo. The hotel has great facilities. There’s golf simulators below and a putting course on the roof. My room, the M B Hong room, was very functional. Breakfast was very good. There’s a casino next door and a nice park with one of the city’s old gates.

Checked in and first was impressed by the elegant look of the hotel lobby, on the old wing. The new wing is of a simpler look but the marble flooring is impressive. We stayed at the new wing and room is smaller, however well equipped. For wall plugs, they provide one 3 pin type and the rooms had coffee capsule machine, toilets seats had wash with a remote control, or after u funish your biz and close the lid, it auto flushes. there is also a 3 wire type for phone charging, micro usb, lightning and USB c type. Bathrooms are glass walls with curtain. Wide spread of breakfast, including baby food, healthfood, etc..recommend to stay.

We stayed in a jr. Suite direct and had lousy view of the fountain. Room was ok (rain shower mechanism not working), shower door didn't close and shower drain was plugged. There's a casino in the attached building but we didnt go.

The hotel did the job. It is very large with 1960s/70s decor. Location is central and there are nice gardens. But the rooms are tired; carpets needed cleaned, otherwise reasonably clean. Not geared towards international market/business travellers: no international sockets as is usually the case in South Korea; no USB charging stations; few foreign language channels on the TV (eg no English language news channels). The “executive lounge” was open but was just an unused room with rows of chairs and no apparent facilities. The breakfast was very canteen like. Food was not bad: cooking station for eggs, fresh fruits, Korean dishes, etc. But no personal service, paper cups, large breakfast room and large self service area. The hotel was also undergoing construction during the visit - no issue with the noise; just the hope they will be refurbishing the rooms in the near future.

A very good hotel with comfortable rooms that features a very rich choice of dishes for breakfast and not only: Korean, Japanese and European food is abundant. Only one small disadvantage is the hotel location - it is a little bit far from the city center, however, it is not a serious problem.

Room is big and comfy. Expect to pay if you like to use the gym and spa facility. Breakfast has a nice spread of international selection and I won’t stay here if I have a choice. There’s nothing to do in the vicinity

I was not expecting much after reading previous comments but this hotel really isn’t that bad. Admittedly it is a huge and rather soulless ship but the overall quality is more or less here with all desired amenities (even if access to sauna and pool is not free for guests, which is just unacceptable). Although not brand new, rooms are large and quite comfortable and bedding is good. Service is OK and as stated by many, breakfast is excellent. Wifi petty god. Quiet place. The major bad point is the location, which is not practical at all with the closest metro station 25 minutes away and not much to do around, making you dependent on taxis for everything.
