Actually a more appropriate score would be 4 out of 5 for this hotel. But I’ve upped it to 5 for the way they dealt with a complaint. Firstly the hotel itself is very clean and the location is fantastic, right in the middle of everything, not far from Seomyeon metro station. We stayed in the Garden Terrace Spa Room on the 6th floor. Which was quiet, spacious and very comfortable despite the busy streets down below. The room has two jacuzzi type baths, one in the spacious bathroom and one outside on the private terrace. One thing to be aware of it’s there’s extremely limited storage. Fine for one night, but we were staying 4 nights and since there’s nowhere to put anything, had to live out of our suitcases. It was such a lovely big room otherwise. While we were there, there was was a really bad storm and we came home after dinner to a flooded room! The staff handled the crisis well and without prompt immediately arranged for a full refund of that nights stay, which we were impressed by... hence the rating of 5! If you’re staying there, please try the restaurant across the road (go right out of the exit next to reception and it’s next to the Dublin Hotel). It looks a bit scary if you’re a foreigner, it has a cows face picture in its signage (picture in this review) I’d review it separately, but I don’t know what’s it’s called in English!! It’s a BBQ place, serving cows intestines. Don’t be scared, you’ll receive a warm welcome at section 5 and the flavours are fantastic.

Nice hotel with very comfortable beds, great location one street away from beach and eating. Excellent front desk assistance with getting taxis to/from airport. Large bathroom with nice toiletries. I’d book again but there looked like there were also many other options rt on the beach road that might be worth checking out first.

Extremely helpful front desk staff upgraded us to a larger room. Good English, and gave good advice/directions. Close to Lotte department store and many restaurants and street food vendors. On a very busy back street, but well sound-proofed so not a problem.

From the website and edited pictures, the Hound Hotel looks beautiful and clean. However, once inside the room kind of has the old smell in the air. Also, the room is tidy but it's doesn't feel clean. Dust could be seen on some of the table. There's a different from being clean vs tidy. Location is great because it's in the center of Busan night life. If you're on a budget and don't care too much about being clean; then this is the spot for you. However, if you're a young couple who works and has a budget; I recommend going somewhere else.

At 6 Dec, 2018 Need to wait 30min the room ready upon check in, I accept, but the receptionist said if you want to keep your luggage and go out, just leave it beside the computer desk (for guest use) at the lobby, it’s mean that no one take care of it and no one care about the guest property, I request to keep inside their store as my suitcase is a small size which can be handcarry to get the flight, but he said no place to keep, so I got no choice need to wait at the lobby until the room ready. After get the room key, I booked is the garden spa room which I paid more for bigger size, but it was totally different with the photo from Expedia, then I ask the staff and he said it was the same, size the same and refused to show me another room of my request. I saw the floor plan on the floor, my room size was smaller than the others, it’s feeling be a big cheat. Beside, air-con is no adjustable, no safety box in room, how come, a hotel without the normal facilities, NO SAFETY concern for the guest. room with dirty wall beside your bed, one side bed head light is malfunction, a hair in the bathtub, really dusty on the floor. Never never stay this hotel anymore.

I was welcomed by a very friendly receptionist who speaks fluent English. It is not easy to come across associates who speaks fluent English in korea and japan for local accommodations, but here in The Hound Hotel Seomyeon, all of them speaks fluent English.

Hotel is near to Seomyeon Station and alot of eateries and 24 hours mart around the hotel. It's quite difficult to find the hotel for 1st timer. Hotel is very neat and the check in and out is very swift. The hotel doesnt provide bathroom amenities except shampoo, shower gel and conditioner. So please bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. Housekeeping are done daily as there are no door tag to hang for 'clean up room or do not disturb sign'. Overall is a good stay except the bed is hard.

Stayed there for 5 nights. The room is very clean, loved the pillows and the bed. Great location, close to food and seomyeon underground shopping centre. The hawker street is right around the corner, lots of food options. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The hotel we booked for our 4D3N stay in Busan. Due to the flight schedule, we arrived at the hotel quite late only to know that our room was let out wrongly to another lodger. In fear of us getting stranded in a shady hotel around the area, the hotel manager who has gone home for the day anxiously rushed back at the hotel and help settled a night stay at a nearby safe hotel. Because we weren't sure of the way, without us asking, he immediately carried our luggages and made sure we know and followed him to the arranged hotel which was just a short 100m away along the same street as Hound Hotel. He was very apologetic and quickly made arrangements for us to check back Hound Hotel for the remaining 2 nights. We got an upgraded room too! The receptionist at Hound Hotel also assured our nights were comfortable at Hound Hotel with warm greetings in the morning and when we return for the night. Thumbs up!

Surrounded with a lot of restaurants and local roadside stall, 10 minutes from Seomyeon station exit 7. Bus to Gamcheon Village is available from bus stop nearby. The room is spacious, modern, clean however the lighting is slightly dim. Towels and body wash are provided! The receptionist is very helpful and friendly too!
