I stayed in GnB with my family for 3 days 2 nights. The rooms sizes are reasonable and located in a very convenient spot. It takes ard 30 ~ 40 mins by taxi from airport or within an hr by airport shuttle bus without traffic condition. The Int'l market just opposite and Busan Tower in walking distance. Busan Cultural Village also very close to the hotel. It save a lot of time to travel around.
Staff are very nice and helpful for reserving taxi and advices on travelling direction.
OK if you are staying for a night. I would not stay any longer. Room was dark, perhaps because I was at a corner room. Carpet was dirty (stains) even at the lifts but also in the rooms. Walls was also dirty (dried boogers on the wall! No one fixed it during my stay - I consequently just avoided touching anything as much as possible). It looks very dated for a new hotel (built in 2015 I understand)! No bathtub but on hindsight this is a good thing (I wouldn't use the tub there!)
The last one is minor - but there is no washing machines in the hotel, closest laundry shop is 15 minutes away. It would be a plus to have something. Only plus is the location - even then the area (Jagalchi Market, Kkangtong Market, BIFF etc, can be covered fairly quickly within a day)
Nearby there is Marcher Hotel which goes for the same rates, looks very modern (from pictures), has bathtubs/jacuzzi. I didn't book it as it is non-refundable at base rate, double the price for free cancellation. Probably still worth the add on fee on hindsight.
Highly recommended to stay here if you ever come to a Busan. The location is great, walking distance to subway, only a block away from the well known Night market and international market. 10 minutes from Bifi shopping area. There are so many restaurants just minutes away.
Hotel was clean and very well located: in from of the hotel is the night market opened until 22oo hours, 600 meters from fish market, 500 meters from subway station. Money exchange at the bank just 50 meters away. Best money exchange in town is located on the small street I marked on my blog photoandtravels on blogspot. Free parking.
Paid more than Shilla Stay in Seoul. So my wife and I expected some things to be nice enough to justify the price. Room had bad view, bathroom with shower only. Later on found out that we were charged way more than other guests. When my wife was at the front desk, a walk-in tourist asked the front staff about availability and rate, and the price quoted was about half of what we paid. My wife asked how that was possible and the staff started stuttering and had no answer. Later on when we spoke to the manager, he apologized and yet had no intention of refunding us. He offered a free taxi to the airport the next morning, which also proves that they were hiding something. Understand that they want to lower the price to sell whatever they can, but not to this extent. Will never go back to this hotel and do not recommend it to others either. Amenities not bad overall, but, if you do decide to go, I suggest you compare the price and do not get ripped off. Originally booked it through a reputable booking site (not trip advisor), so we trusted the price. Mistake.
