The hotel was a clean, totally functional place with views of the lake from the small patio for two and within easy walking distance to restaurants and walk by the lake. The price was great and breakfast is extra but recommended.

The room was o.k but not very clean.. hairs on the bathroom's floor and stains on the towels for example. The sheets on the bed seemed clean though. Breakfast was great, rich and varied. In conclusion: I don't believe I'll be coming back..

The rooms and bathrooms were dirty and falling apart. Loose wires were sticking out of the walls. The curtains were filthy. The breakfast included was offered in a neighbouring hotel and although there was a huge array of fish, salads, cheese and warm options, nothing tasted particularly good. A clear choice for quantity over quality.

The rooms were clean and tidy, beds were comfortable and the balcony had a great view! Our room included a mini kitchen that was simple yet adequate. Parking was right in front of building with easy access. Within walking distance to everything downtown in Tiberias. Staff were wonderful, very helpful and fun to interact with. Breakfast was amazing!

The Aviv Hotel was pleasant for a 3 night stay. Good location. We had a suite with a queen sized bed which was comfortable, kitchen area. Concerns we had: security - the door was key entry; the only way to lock the door was a push-button on the inside handle. We were on the first floor and the handle to...

Arrived in Tiberias on a road trip in Israel with nowhere to stay that night. After a quick Google we decided to check out Hotel Aviv. The Manager on duty when we arrived and was charming and helpful (he gave us maps to help with our journey and info about local shops - Shabbat was starting - some close but...

would have given it 5 stars, but we were a little disappointed we couldn't have access to the pool next door, when it seemed like others from the same place were able to use it...? anyway, we were very satisfied with the room. it's a short, nice walk to the center of town. breakfast ends at 10:00. it was a...

Located close to the lake and the part of Tiberias inside the old city walls, as well as a 15 min. walk from the bus station. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The people at reception were very friendly and helpful, and organised a taxi tour for us of the biblical sites nearby. But the best part was the breakfast,...

The Hotel Aviv in Tiberias is located a short ten minute walk from the center of town and the Sea of Galilee. The surprisingly spacious rooms even have small balcony's and the daily cleaning service is great. Great for anyone. There's a water park about five minutes away.

I stopped on my way from Akko to visit the Bible sites. I was renting a car from Eldan after spending a day here. Unfortunately, Tiberius is a touristy city with not a lot of charm. However, you can't fault Hotel Aviv. Nice budget hotel with a great breakfast next door for $12.50. Good guy at desk, and convenient shopping...
