The hotel Oásis Jericho is located on the outskirts of the old city of Jericho, 30 minutes away from Jerusalem and 15 minutes away from the Dead Sea. The hotel is a perfect retreat after a long day of activities and the perfect base from which to explore. Oasis provides a gym, health club, Jacuzzi, outdoor pool, sauna, steam room,...

This resort is beautiful, and I actually felt guilty staying in such a nice place while on a Pilgrimage to the Holy Lands. The location is great for sites around Jericho, and sites near the Dead Sea (e.g. Masada).

Giant comfortable hotel at the edge of town. The monolite building may look out of its place but provides you with all the service you need. It is built as a hotel and it feels like a hotel. Comfort in stead of charm. The rooms are American style (it is a former InterCon) with two giant beds, large bathroom. Clean...

We stopped there for coffee and desserts. Chocolate cake was average, cappuccino was good, ice cream was fine... Servers sucked big time. My dad ordered vanilla ice cream, the guy brought chocolate. My dad had to ask why he got chocolate instead, the guy replied 'because that's all we have'. My wife ordered a cake with pistachios on the outside,...

Well, my wife and I differ here. My thought was to rate it a 5 however I was overruled, vetod, reprimanded and thus rate it a 4. Here is my 2 shekels. Considering the difficulty of operating a hotel with such difficult circumstances the folks at Oasis can do no better. The hotel features an excellent pool, jacuzzi, gym and...

Wonderful place to stay. Staff helpful, food good, rooms lovely. Plenty to occupy yourself with there, though not much to do within a small distance from the hotel. Beautiful views across the desert. I believe recently changed from another name into Oasis. Go and enjoy. Difficult to be disappointed.

Make time to enjoy this hotel. The dinners are beautifully prepared and served. The rooms are giant with all of the amenities of the Stanford Park in Palo Alto. More even! But the amazing thing is the breakfast buffet. Don't miss it. And tip the staff. Travel is light this year, but these wonderful kind people go above and beyond...

We stayed here while on pilgrimage. It's very well-equipped, with large rooms and spacious public areas, on the edge of the city. Many of the rooms had great views. Sadly not many people staying, because of the problems in the Occupied Territories of Palestine, so it's good to support it.
