Detailed Reviews
Though a bit disappointed with the area this hotel is very well situated. We arrived late after an international flight. Our room could have benefitted from some renovations but it was clean and the night receptionist (Michael?) was very helpful and made up for any lack. The same was true of the owner we met the next day(Gleb?). They gave us an extension on our check out time no problem, let us park the car all day while we enjoyed the beach, provided beach towels (as many as we liked), gave us cold bottled water (again, as much as we needed). It all made for a very enjoyable stay.

For the one expecting big value for the investment, Bat Yam is not the place. In general Tel Aviv it's an expensive city so one most be reasonable because hotels by the shore are past subsidized apartments converted into hotel rooms, therefore the setup it's a bit strange.
They only have three parking spots, but there is free parking from 6pm to 8am on the neighborhood streets.
The place is humble yet clean, plus you get a free breakfast.

Located a few dozen meters from the ocean, this hotel blew me away.
I had to find a place to sleep at very late at night, personally checked out several different hotels on the,טיילת , the boardwalk across the ocean, and ended up choosing Elis Hotel for my stay.
The staff: I was treated with excellent customer service from all of the employees I encountered. Respect, compassion, and genuine hospitality.
The location: you can feel and smell the ocean breeze all day and night, there are bus stops within 200 meters in each direction, and the street is lined with restaurants, and there's even a 24 hours store 15 seconds from the hotel! (24h stores are not too common in Israel!)
The room: The room looked and smelled clean, comfortable! You could genuinely unwind and relax, what more can you ask from a hotel room! :)
Conclusion: The next time I will be visiting Tel-Aviv or any of its nearby cities, I will literally go out of my way just to go to Bat-Yam and spend the night at Elis hotel. I have never written up a review for any other restaurant or hotel before, but my stay at this hotel was truly superb from start to finish and is fully deserving of this review.

Pretty disappointed on arrival, it’s labelled as a boutique hotel but it’s rooms were far from boutique. Our towels had holes in them, our room smelt of smoke which for an asthmatic is a bit of a nightmare and the beds were hard. We had to leave early in the morning for a flight which they said they’d give us breakfast for, there was two bowls (note there were four of us) with a couple of slices of bread, an egg and a slice of cheese - not really suitable for a family of four. Location was good right on the beach which just about made our stay bearable.

The place is quite clean, perfect location right on the beach
The service is shocking!!! The employee was nice and the landlady really didn't raise her voice about us customers.
Most of the TV channels are not connected, there are no keys to the bathrooms and the double bed is really small
Do not recommend to anyone... or hope not to meet the manager.

There aren’t enough words to say how bad this hotel is…. Stay away! No towels, no coffee, no soap, no TV. The owners are nice but sit around smoking all day. This hotel needs a complete gut renovation.

Service is great, very helpful staff. Rooms clean, breakfast is good. Not expansive stay. Lots of bars all around and the beach is just across the road. Sheets were replaced every other day. We enjoyed the free wi fi service a lot. Thank you for a pleasant stay at your hotel. Defiantly would come back.

All public places in the hotel reeked of strong cigarette smoke.
Cigarette smoke smell in the room overnight comes in under the door from the hall.
4 minute shower results in the entire bathroom being flooded.
TV didn't work, and the employee couldn't make it work.
I'm not exaggerating when I say the bed had a softness of an airport bench.
Location is fantastic. Easy to find.
Wi-Fi worked.
Front desk staff was friendly.
Air conditioning was excellent.
Unfortunately the bads far outweigh the goods.
Unless you're a heavy smoker, do not stay here. You will be miserable.

Was just there. Parking was difficult and it depended on who was manning the front desk. I asked in an email through my broker and also called to confirm. Was told I would have one and when I arrived, different story. No space. Then the night guy came on and suddenly he found me a space.
Greetings from israel!
