Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had an early morning flight, so needed to stay close to the airport. Left too early for breakfast. The hotel was clean and pleasantly arranged, we sat down to have tea in the breakfast room, as it was so pleasant. Had sea view room, which was also nice. On the other side, the room was small noisy, and it was hard to fall asleep early for our night flight. Bedding for the extra bed was put on the settee, but the bed was not made. We booked the hotel because it offered free private parking, but when we arrived it was not available. Lucky for us, we were held up in traffic and arrived late enough to park free on the street. The shower was a wet room, so water splashed everywhere and the shower was far too low even with my height.
The receptionists were friendly and helpful which was a nice exception for our experience in Tel Aviv overall.

This was a clean and neat hotel, the staff is friendly and helpful but do not speak English. The breakfast that is served is good and filling. This hotel is not for you average tourist looking for western comforts, this is more of a hotel for local nationals or for tourist that that are looking to get away from the beaten path. This hotel is nicely located across the road from the beach and there are numerous places to eat.

Simple room, but clean and very close to the beach. Very polite and friendly staff. All rooms are on the second floor, but, unfortunately, there is no elevator. Minimalistic equipment, you have to ask for fan. WiFi is slow.

Absolutely appalling hotel. Rude staff. Wouldn’t accept my foreign passport for tax discount as stated. Cancelled our booking, hotel refused to give me back my 90 shekels refund for the taxes. The manager refused to talk to me.
This hotel does not have a queen bed or a room with a balcony, so don’t book one. Completely false advertising. More like a red light district. The beach opposite is nothing special. Ended up paying less for a much nicer hotel in the heart of tel Aviv. DO NOT stay here!

The hotel was ok, but like a lot of places, it was cheaply updated and it shows. The location is right on the beach which was nice. Breakfast was included and we were leaving @0430 to get to the airport, but they prepared breakfast for us before we left. It’s quite noisy as there’s a lot of traffic on the street and the windows don’t keep out the noise. Also a lot of noise from other rooms bc of lack of soundproofing.

We have stayed at Spat Beach hotel for a week. I believe it is run by Russians, most of the guests are Russian too, all staff speak Hebrew and Russian. Some of them are able to speak English (or at least the basic). Hotel looks bit scruffy from outside, inside - room size is absolutely fine, furniture is very dated - especially the wardrobes. The bathroom was a bit struggle - as this actually a wet room, there are no shelves whatsoever, so you end having your staff on the floor. When we arrived there were also somebody's else hair in the corner of the room and by the side tables, also during the stay, I must stay the cleaning was not really 100 percent. Breakfast was always prepared, it was not a buffet style. You always got the same, which is bit repetitive - but you got fresh omelette, vegetable salad, some tuna and cheese, olives, lovely bread..I think the buffet would be more efficient for both guests and hotel too - just because we were served the tuna/soft cheese and olives every morning which we always left untouched, just a waste. Overall, I would say, the location is brilliant, in Bat Yam - it is opposite the beach, walking distance to all shops, markets, restaurants. to the bus stops. Hotel is very average, but bearing in mind how much we have paid (comparing the hotels in Tel Aviv) for the stay, it is fair enough. It has absolutely met our needs, as we were travelling around a lot. If you are looking for a beach holiday and planning to chill out at the hotel too, this is not the one.
Staff are ok, some are more helpful than others, some not at all - so you feel you bother them really, but I assume this is something you may experience in Israel everywhere - people in general are not happy puppies.

This nice seaside hotel is located as close to the beach as possible, seaside rooms offer obviously a nice view to the water.
The hotel is very basic, but at the same moment pleasant. The renovated bathroom was sufficient. The staff was really very helpful and understanding, although communication was challenged due to language issues.

Very nice breakfast was included and parking also, which is very helpfull when you plan to be at the hotel during the weekend, as there will be hardly any public parking available..
