Staying for 3 days on the villa/ biggest room available , as other hotel was full during pasola week. Garden was nice and well maintained. There were some room type available . The biggest one is villa type, can accomodate up to 4 person. The other type was small room, for 2 people you need to use extra bed provided under the twin bed. Although there was aircon for the room, there was no hot water on that bathroom. My villa room was big, but aircon was not cool and water leaked to the floor. Bathroom was not neatly arranged : some hosing was hanging on the wall ( see my picture ), it could be better arranged . Bathroom floor was broken . Fortunately water heater worked well. On my friend’s room - which had the same accomodation type - hot water was not working , AC was not cool also. Every night we need to open the window to get fresh air. Pantry on my room looked never be cleaned for years (see my picture ). Breakfast was basic, served at 7 am. Some small insects walked into my room each day ( cockcroach , centipede, ants ) . We paid IDR 500k per night, after negotiating from IDR 750k. I felt this pricing was very expensive compare to other hotel in Waikabubak - considering the room condition and breakfast provided. . One morning we met pater Robert, the owner of the accomodation and woven museum , he was a nice person and care about local culture . He informed us that challenge was the resources to run the accomodation and museum . Museum itself had a very nice collection, recommended to visit.
