We have just spent 3wks travelling through Flores and Hotel Happy Happy was absolutely a stand-out in terms of the hotels we stayed at. As mentioned by other reviewers the amenities are excellent - very clean rooms, great Wi-Fi & a fantastic free breakfast including home-made brown grain bread - yum! It really shows that it's owned & run by...

Very nice and clean hotel/guesthouse. It has spacious rooms with double bed, some with hot water/ shower, but not all. I came during low season and just showed up without reservation. It was no problem, and I decided to stay an extra night to make a day tour to traditional villages and hot springs in area, with their guide, who...

Hotel happy Happy is clean, well designed, has good wifi (which is a rarity in Flores), and a great breakfast. The beds are also very comfortable. What really made my stay exceptional was the help offered to me by Marie, Alfons, and the rest of the staff. I was involved in a motorcycle crash about an hour outside Bajawa. Injured...

We did not have a good start here - our travel agent had booked us for the wrong day and when we arrived we were told that we were expected the day after! This meant that the en suite room that we had booked was not available. The owners realised that this left us in an awkward position and to...

Very nice and clean hotel! Best breakfast we had in Flores. Thanks Marie for giving us tips for arranging flights and trips with the motorbike. The people in bajawa are very friendly. Its worth going to the hot springs and traditional village by motorbike.

When I booked, I knew it was only for 1 night: all full! But Maria found a solution and I could join 2 other girls, travelling solo. We hired Alfons + car for the next day and didn't regret it! Happy Happy serves the best breakfast in Flores ! I can recommennd this hotel.

The rooms are clean and spacious, but there are no closets and only one bench to put your suitcase on. The "bathroom" is very small, with only a toilet and a shower right next to it. When you take a hot shower, everything is wet, I'm not happy about that. In the hall is a large table where you can...

We stayed here one night traveling from Moni to Labuan Bajo. I think the other reviews are very (too) positive. Bajawa doesn't offer many hotels. HH is a basic hotel along a busy road with lots of traffic. There is a little terrace, which is also located on the site of the road. Inside it offers a nice central space...

This review is based on lies. We have a house for drivers and they all get breakfast. If the house is full they have to look for a different place. The hotel is not responsible for drivers because this is the responsibility of the travel agent. The drivers all get a budget from the agencies to eat and sleep. If...

Stayed here two nights in order to climb the nearby vulcano. Room was clean and big. Close to the road though but it was ok. Helped us arrange trip to vulcano and lift to Boawae. Very nice breakfast. The Night we left for the vulcano we had some bread and cheese to go. Would have been nice to have some...

I don't understand the bad reviews for this place. Comfy beds, hot water, the owners waited for us to arrive and then served us complimentary tea and coffee. Marianne, one of the owners, even kindly booked another place for us because HHH was fully booked when our plans changed and we got to Bajawa early. They are super attentive and...
