We loved the feel of this place. Nothing flash, though buildings take design cues from Tradional villages, set in well developed grounds Rooms were large, beds good and unsuite OK. Very basic banana pancake breakfast, though good home made bread - a rare treat in Flores. Our guide said evening meals there were slow and in inispirng and it seemed...

Loved our stay at this lodge. Simple accommodation but pretty good nonetheless. Helped by being in beautiful setting and very well maintained gardens. What really made the trip was the excellent service provided by our guide Patrice and his driver Pang. They tailored our trips perfectly and looked after us fantastically well from picking us up at the airport to...

From the moment you enter, you realize how different, and special this place is. Set amidst a beautiful garden next to a gushing water stream, you are in the lap of nature and at the same time not compromising on essentials. Rita who supervises the kitchen is friendly and cooks what probably is some of the best Indonesian food I...

This is an excellent location to stay when you plan to explore Kelimutu. One night is enough as there isn't much else to see near the resort. You can hike a bit around the premises where there are some rice paddies. Early morning tours can be organized by the resort to go up to the vulcano. Food is basic but...

Thank you for your report on our Kelimutu Crater Lakes Eco Lodge. Your appreciation of the lodge, surrounds and staff are acknowledged with thanks. Many guests do stay longer as there are many activities - visiting the village ikat weavers supported by the lodge (some of the finest ikat in Indonesia), hiking in the local hills and mountains, birding, visiting...

The lodge is the best gateway to visit Kelimutu, it is the best option in Moni. But the rooms are very old and not so clean, bathrooms dirty and the food is not tastefull at all. People are friendly but that is about it. Stay 1 night, do the tour and get the hell out!

We refer to your report on your stay at our Kelimutu Crater Lakes Eco Lodge. You refer to us as the best place to stay in Moni. We have undertaken an investigation regarding the remainder of your remarks as we take them seriously. You stayed in Bungalow 5 in the first group of bungalows built there in 2010. It is...

We spent the night here to hike Mt. Kelimutu the next morning. We arrived at night, and were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful view and surroundings the next morning. The banana pancakes at breakfast are not to be missed. The gracious staff catered to our every request. Definitely the place to stay when planning to visit the crater lakes.

The lodge we were in was very spacious, cool from the heat, clean and had a kettle for making tea. The food we had was very tasty and Rita the supervisor was very welcoming. We arranged the 3 day / 2 day package, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Our guide was Patrise and driver France were fantastic. With extensive knowledge of...

We stayed two nights at the Eco Lodge in February as a centre for visiting the crater lakes. It is a great site, with lovely lodges and friendly staff. The food is excellent - using local organic vegetables, many of them grown on site. Although it is out of town, it is only a short walk up the hill to...

We recently spent two nights here in one of the bungalows. It is about 20 minutes walk or few minutes drive from Moni town. The view from the terrace was spectacular. Only thing is I would have liked to have a security screening door of some sorts to keep the bugs away so that I can leave the terrace door...
