If you are anywhere in Indonesia this place is worth travelling to. We stayed for a couple of days (which was way too short) during the summer of 2015 in the suite over water. Rather than on touristy islands where there are many suites over water, here there is only one and it is incredible! The water was very warm... More

to reach this place you need to have a 1.5 hrs flight from Jakarta city and 2hours driving plus 15min boat. Stepping on the jetty and you know you will have a serene gate-away. Its not an Eco resort but you wont find any AC in here. Though the electricity is ON all days. It has only 15 bungalow (if... More

It's located on Cubadak Island, a small secluded island near Padang. It's very peaceful, unforgettable natural beauty of the island and the beach. Delicious food and and great experience visiting another small islands nearby.

A lot has been written about this island and it's true: This is probably the best place to stay in Sumatra for relaxing. You step out of the boat, take off your shoes and you only put them on again when you leave the island. Granted, for Sumatra, this is a rather expensive place. But it is worth it with... More

Visited this beautiful place last month with my wife and we both loved it. First 2hr ride from Padang is beautiful and just 15 min boat ride from mainland will take you to the resort. Accommodation is very basic and when I first heard there is no Aircon, I was wondering how will it work, but believe me it doesn't... More

We stay here for 2 nights only due to our short holidays and we wish we could stay longer. We had an absolutely amazing stay. We were picked up from our place and drove for an hour and half to the port where their speed boat was waiting and we left the mainland to this amazingly beuatiful and quite island.... More

The boat pulled away from the mainland port leaving the hustle and bustle of Sumatra behind us. As we approached the village, we all really sensed a feeling of calm and relief. I was with my family and none of us could stop grinning. A week of touring, whilst amazing, had left us wanting a bit of chill time. The... More

We went in March'16 to Cubadak. Though it takes time to reach this place the time spent is definitely worth it. The design of the cottage allows for nice cross- ventilation. Food wise, all the 3 meals were awesome. Good juicy meats with plenty of vege options. My wife had made special request for food, which was quite amazing dealt... More

I had an absolutely blissful week of holiday at Paradiso Village. Excellent food, comfortable hammocks, delightful bungalows (mine was on the edge of the jungle which meant I got to wake up hearing the monkeys chattering to one another!) and all with just the right amount of activity thrown in. I completed 5 dives while I was there and saw... More

We spent three peaceful days and nights at Cubadak Paradiso Village. The place itself is absolutely magical - barefoot serenity and colourful nature at every turn. But the real stars are the staff. Dominique, Marco, Hugh, Debbie and the team of Indonesian boys make you feel like a member of their family. How they find the inspiration to talk to... More
