We wer booked in to the 'suite over water' and it was fantastic! We could watch the fish from the deck and we also saw turtles. It was all inclusive and the food was different every day - not specifically Indonesian.

As a busy couple we were looking for a total getaway and technology detox. Cubadak lived up to all of the glowing reviews and provided us a stress free, relaxing and totally reinvigorating holiday. We stayed in the over water bungalow which allowed easy access to great snorkelling and total solitude, which was just what we were after. Marco and...

... more or less than 2 hours drive ( the road was busy on that Saturday noon we went ) , 15 minutes speed boat ride is all worth it when you arrive to this Paradise. The best Padang experience by far, very quiet and relaxing place without the crowd that you would find in most popular beach destinations, no...

Our big family ranging from 2 y.o to 64 y.o went there for the 2017 New Year's holiday. We were curious of the place having read the very good reviews on tripadvisor. We were very delighted that the reviews were indeed true. When we stepped on the jetty upon arrival, the host, Dominique, was already there greeting us with her...

Just returning from 3 days in paradise. Been traveling Asia since last century, and I can tell this kind of places is getting very rare! Wild life, sea life, charm, fusion gastronomy (ask them to prepare 'The Tielle" just for you, a fabulous Asian customized squid pie from South of France), fun and lovely staff, run by very caring Dominique...

If you are anywhere in Indonesia this place is worth travelling to. We stayed for a couple of days (which was way too short) during the summer of 2015 in the suite over water. Rather than on touristy islands where there are many suites over water, here there is only one and it is incredible! The water was very warm...

to reach this place you need to have a 1.5 hrs flight from Jakarta city and 2hours driving plus 15min boat. Stepping on the jetty and you know you will have a serene gate-away. Its not an Eco resort but you wont find any AC in here. Though the electricity is ON all days. It has only 15 bungalow (if...

It's located on Cubadak Island, a small secluded island near Padang. It's very peaceful, unforgettable natural beauty of the island and the beach. Delicious food and and great experience visiting another small islands nearby.

A lot has been written about this island and it's true: This is probably the best place to stay in Sumatra for relaxing. You step out of the boat, take off your shoes and you only put them on again when you leave the island. Granted, for Sumatra, this is a rather expensive place. But it is worth it with...

Visited this beautiful place last month with my wife and we both loved it. First 2hr ride from Padang is beautiful and just 15 min boat ride from mainland will take you to the resort. Accommodation is very basic and when I first heard there is no Aircon, I was wondering how will it work, but believe me it doesn't...
