This is a very small resort on a very small island. Nothing like home, in a big city with lots of people. But still, after a couple of days you feel like home. It's people - nice, caring and full of good cheer:-) They even do some good cocktails there - try Island Breeze once you are there:-) A piece... More

We booked to stay with another resort originally but got quite disappointed as that one got nothing up to standard. We were told that the poor situation there was due to the isolation and remoteness of this beautiful island.... we believed it in the beginning. However, we randomly walked into the yard of Onong and immediately felt this should be... More

This spot have corals in great shape and at your doorstep! Suitable for both snorkeling / diving or just dozing on the beach. Everything went flawless and the cosy resort is backed up by great hospitality with the ever available Carolin and the friendly staff. You see some plastic floating around with the presence of Manado close by but nothing... More

We stayed few days at the Onong Resort a month ago (Aug 2016) and it's still hard to forget the beauty of this place, which together with the super friendly staff really made for an awesome experience! It was also the first time my brother and I dived! we did the diving trial with the amazing Carolin and I can... More

Though more than a review this might sound like a love letter to the resort we cannot but say that this is one of the best places we have ever been to. We contacted Carolin who was amazing at getting back to us and even arranged to pick us up fro the opposite island of Bunaken. From that point onwards... More

Spent a little less than a week in Onong Resort. Choose location for diving Bunaken and Siladen dive spopts. Overall experience was great! a great place on a small island (it takes 1 hour to walk around the island...) This is one of the places where you feel at home from the very first moment. Mayke, Jurij and the team... More

Small resort, with diving as it's main business. Which makes sence because of the excellent beauty of the Bunaken Marine Park. Diving with the Onong Celebes crew is good, dives are organised and dive masters know what they are doing. It would have been nice if they told a bit more about what you are gonna see, instead of, lots... More

Great location, easy access from manado and good pickup service. Excellent knowledgeable staff and great food portions. Room was okay although my room had a (stinky) septic tank issue that was unresolved for 2 nights. For the price per night this was unacceptable and was resolved only on day of departure. The rest however made up for it so overally... More

Onong is a tiny resort on SIladen Island. It only has about 10 rooms - the four with a sea view are MUCH better. The resort is right on the sea front. There is no beach at high tide and a big rocky wall to protect the rooms. As has been commented before, there are only 6 sun beds for... More

Great feeling on the small paradise island. Not far away from the Mapia resort which is the sister resort from Onong resorts. Both resorts are managed by Celebis resort. The combination holidays are recommendable. Nice beach, nice snorkeling, nice diving in Bunaken national park.
