I visited here when coming back from Singapore. This is a budget hotel. Location is near with wet market. This hotel has elevator. This hotel also has coffee shop on ground floor. If you want to enjoy local food, you could visit coffee shop or canteen near the hotel but the location was not so clear because near with wet market.
This is your basic Asian Market hotel. Very low cost under $10 per day. Hotel has security and lift, WiFi, Cable TV, private CR/Bath with shower. Good size room for the price. Stayed for a weekend here not my choice of hotel trip planned by friend.
A perfect, no frills stay at Gloris Hotel. Check in was swift, and staff were welcoming. Security was present throughout the stay. I got a superior room (windowless). Situated at level 2, it provides basic amenities such as a proper bed, in room telephone, and squeaky cardboard with a variety of hangers, satellite television, empty cardboards and drawers. Despite the absence of a fridge and kettle, electric plugs were enough and the 24hr room/meal service are all well. The toilet was very dim yet sufficiently ventilated. Although the telephone was initially given as a not working one, the staff at Gloris Hotel managed to replace it with a working one, and replenish the water bottles in the room with every room service! I'd say, Gloris Hotel is a great hotel for every budget traveller to live in due to its distance to a nearby local mall (cheaper than other malls), near to a local vegetable market and various massage establishments. Local taxi takes around 50,000 RP to Nagoya Hill Shopping Mall, and 20,000 RP via motobike taxi to the same place. A 24hr eatery is located directly opposite the hotel. Try their Nasi Ayam (Chicken Rice), Ayam Penyet and other delectable local foods. Overall, Gloris Hotel is a great place to live in for short to medium length stays. …
Booked the family suite and the room was very spacious and quite clean. But the aircon doesnt work well though and tv wise, there's not much thing to watch as most of the channel are repeated. The toilet is quite big as there's a single bathtub in it. Cleanliness wise was okay as there's stain on the bathtub and when water flowed from the tap, there's a lot of white paint-like stuff floating on the bathtub so I didnt dare to give it a try. There's wifi in the lobby but also didnt get to use it due to an error. The hotel is located near to Pasar Jodoh and Ramayana, basically 5-10 minutes walk and you'll be able to reach Ramayana. Apart from that, I wont recommend this hotel to ladies who is not accompanied by a guy because during our stay, 2 rooms beside mine was occupied by indonesian youngsters and their doors were kept open while they smoke and drink and they kept staring whenever we went in or out of our rooms. But overall, the hotel is quite okay for the price paid.…
Free wifi at lobby and 24-hr coffee shop are attractive to me. It is near to wet market, night market, Ramayana Supermarket , Avava Mall, and many bag shops. At the back of Avava Mall, there is another mall(Jodoh?/100) that sells cheap souvenirs, e.g: 5 T-shirts =100 000Rp, 6 keychains= 25000Rp, 5 nail clipper keychains= 50000Rp.
