Nice hotel, tranquil, breezy. Stayed with colleagues. Ideal place if you are not fussy, no frills hotel. Room is comfortable, big standing toilet with hot water. Nice decor, colonial Dutch. Staff was very helpful and friendly, there were many food stalls around the hotel. However, don't expect much from the breakfast, just good enough for what you pay. I'll be... More

Really liked the courtyard. Staff was friendly. Room was kind of small but didn't expect a lot for the price. We stayed here one night and we were satisfied with what we got. There is also enough options in the direct area to eat, we really liked 'the Hungry station' next to the guesthouse.

This is such a nice building in a nice urban area. A bit far from the centre (30 min walk or 30.000 rp taxi) but there is food to be found in THE neighbourhood (Warung Upnormal around the corner). The staff of the hotel is friendly but barely speaks English. Make sure to repeat what you want! They arranged for... More

It gives the impression that the hotel was once a great modern romantic hotel, but that now is suffering a bit from the passing of times. Nevertheless, I enjoyed, the courtyard, the tall ceilings and strong wood beds, the smell of colonial architecture, the corners.

Great location close to a lot of good restaurants. Staff is friendly and the hotel is quite charismatic, having a colonial style and a big patio. However, the breakfast is very spartan and wi-fi extremely slow.

Cozy place - feels just like home. Wifi in 2nd floor rooms strong. Floors not carpeted which we prefer. Bathroom has no shower enclosure so be sure you have rubber slippers to avoid wet feet. Also the bathroom layout is interesting because it opens to an outside wall. That is one big window with no screen though so we keep... More

Its not easy to find the place as it is located in residential area. Location is ok and not far from the business district and there were a lot of eateries in the surroundings. When i first walk in to the room, there was an awful smell indicating the room has not been occupied and cleaned for some time. The... More
