I will preface this with given the location I expected to hear music and traffic from the street, however I wasn’t expecting no soundproofing within the hotel itself. I was on the ground floor. Crying babies, rolling suitcases, people drunkenly stumbling in at all hours and having singalongs in the corridor - at one point I woke up and genuinely thought I’d left my door open - that’s how loud it was. This was a HUGE downer. Beyond that, it’s good. Staff are outstanding - absolutely lovely and so helpful. Water dispensers in hallway for you to refill your own bottle. The room is budget and no frills, it is modern looking and kept clean but has some wear and tear. Best suited to if you need a place to lay your head for a night if you’re passing through briefly. View on to the rice field was nice. Air conditioner exceptional. Location, can’t beat it. Walking distance to everywhere. If you’re from Australia, for reference, I would say this is one very solid step down below Ibis or the old Formula One hotels. You’ve gotta take the good with the bad, and it’s not all bad, but - and I don’t say this jokingly - buy some earplugs before you book.

I guess when 1 came to Ubud I will always recommend this hotel to my family. The rooms was so nice. Thank you for giving us rooms with connecting door. Thank you for the water dispensers in the coridors, it is so generous of you for your guests and also for the environment. The pool always mesmerizing me and my little girl. Breakfast and welcome deink tasted good, and the staffs is always friendly and helpful. Thank you 🥰🥰🥰

Booked in today and I'm disappointed. Location is good. Room small and tired. Lamps not safe I got help to find out how to turn off. Flickers on switch. Elected to turn off permanently rather than deal with them or get electrocuted! Asked how to close blinds as roo. Hot from sun told they were at Max closure. No broken. They are just wooden slat blinds you don't have to be smart to know not working. Air Co. Not really working room not cooling down. TV small with only a couple if English channels so limited in room entertainment. I understand being green but you have to get a water bottle to then refill in corridor. I don't bring a water bottle on holidays so now have to buy plastic bottle to get water. I'm really disappointed thus hotel sells itself too high I would rate 3 star.

My wife and i decided to stay in this hotel. When we were stepping in to Reception, we were greeted warmly by the FO staff. The room was nice with a great view of rice field. We also enjoyed the breakfast on the rooftop floor, the breakfast was ok with superb view of mountain. Definitely will stay back to this hotel in other occasion. Thank you

Lovely hotel with excellent staff! I booked this hotel for a month and am still here for a few more days. I discovered this hotel about 5 years ago when I was staying at another beautiful hotel in the Sayan jungle. I didn't realize how difficult it would be climbing a multitude of slippery steps in the rain when I got back at night. Not to mention all the frogs, geckos, and who knows what else, along the way. Thankfully, I stumbled upon Evitel, just a few steps away from Yoga Barn, with lots of shops, cafes and a supermarket, right downstairs. I was so relieved to move here, where I could walk to in a couple of minutes after yoga class and dinner. I can hear geckos and frogs at night in the rice paddies, which is lovely. Sometimes I see them on my balcony ceiling at night, which is cute, and natural, since the balcony overlooks the rice fields. As long as thy are not in the room, I'm happy. The hotel has a huge entrance driveway, with plenty of space to drive up in a taxi, and unload. There's always staff nearby to help with luggage or anything you need. I mention this because not every hotel in Bali is easy to access by car, and fully staffed 24/7, with lovely, polite professionals. If you have luggage, or are arriving at night, you'll really appreciate the arrival experience. My room has a view of the rice paddies, and the rooms on the other side also have a lovely view of palm trees, a fish pond and a garden. I feel very safe here and well taken care of by the staff. I noticed a few guests mention the air conditioning. It's actually excellent, but the remote settings are a bit complicated. The room was ice cold after checking in, and when I adjusted the temperature, the room became too warm. It took me awhile to figure out the settings. Best to ask the staff. The hotel gets busy, it's often fully booked, and sometimes guests are noisy. But it's quiet late at night, and I sleep well here. Rooms are cleaned daily by the hardworking housekeeping team. I keep things pretty clean, so I only need cleaning once a week. Special thanks to the lovely staff here, who are all so kind and welcoming!

Close to the monkey forest and many other Indian Vegetarian multi cuisine restaurants, staying in this resort is a bliss. This resort is operating on Sustainability as they don't provide plastic water bottles in the room rather they have a Water cooler on each floor where any guest can come and fill their own respective bottles with water. The hotel helps in reducing plastic waste which is the best practical experience we had. A highly recommended location for everyone who would like to stay.

EVITEL resort hotel rooms are sad .. basic with clearly no maintaince . The air conditioning doesn’t work in many rooms and some rooms are damp . The food is pathetic . For a place like Bali where fresh fruit , fish and greens are easily available , the food served is stale and barely meets average standards. The In door gym is unserviceable and yet shows as a facility on the website. The damper of my trip to Bali was EVITEL resort UBUD !!

Very good location in center of Ubud, good price, good cleanliness. The not so good thing was we visited after the harvesting season so the paddy field in front of the room was only mud and water. Also somehow the hotel needs maintenance, the AC in the room was not cold enough.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights, it was our first time and we have mentioned it to the receptionist. As the title of this review, I said neglecting as I dont feel like we were welcomed nor expected. We book the rooms through OTA. As we arrived nobody were there showing us where to park our car, its fine we thought it's pandemic the were rightsizing their worforce, understood. After parking the car at basement which were quite convenience to kept the car for 2 days, we were checking in. The process run as usual then we were directed ways to reach our room. Arriving at the room, the first that we noticed wasthe hair next to the sink and the dirty toilet (it was seen when you open the door). The roo.Was quite small with small balcony in it. Some maintenance needed in some area. If you come as family I would suggest to take 2 rooms or find bigger hotel elsewhere. Entering day 2, we were surprised with the very very super simple ala carte breakfast, you only have a choice of nasi goreng or mie goreng with tea or coffee, mineral water is on the house. No other option available, the team were also not trying to upsell or show us any options which they have the million opportunities to do so. The key card was expired on day 2 while we supposed to check out the following day. The pool was quite dirty and on our second night the team were having staff party which is necessary for the team, but the noise should be kept into minimum especially if there is occupied room right beneath it. We were requested late check out which was granted for an hour, considering the hotel was not that busy, we were wondering if they would pamper us more than an hour, but anyway. On the day we check out we were called by the receptionist at 12.39 informing our check out time which was supposed to be noted in the system (if they use any) so that it does not sound rude for a first timer such as us. Overall, we dont really enjoy the stay and will not able to recommend nor come back im the future. Hopefully other will not experience the same as us. All the best!
