This fabulous place is located in a greenery , having different villas with each time 2 apartments with a huge outdoor terrace.

the apartment includes: a huge bedroom with 1 double bed + 1 single bed , pass a Balinese entrance door and you discover a huge bathroom , dressing room.

A super warm welcome , high quality service ,
The pool and spa are slightly off-center to preserve the serenity of the place.

However leave nothing on the terrace because the monkeys are quite fast and malicious.

Stayed here for three nights and is a cute boutique property with Balinese architecture , the rooms and living spaces are very large overlooking beautiful lawns. They give you coffee and cake in the afternoon and the service is spot on.
It is located at a very good location in Ubud away from the madness of the town and you can get to the town also in 10-15 minutes….
Above all a flawless stay

If you are looking to stay at a hotel with traditional Indonesian architecture and very close to the nature, this is the place to do so. The peace and nature sounds will be your companions, as each room (which is actually a spacious house) is sorrounded by ponds and trees and plants. We had the pleasure of staying in the Shanti room, which has a bathroom opened to a back mini garden with an outside shower (besides the spacious bathtub), and a little pond with fish. There are no city noises here. The staff was amazing, making our stay a pleasure!

We stayed for 6 nights in Alam Shanti and just wished we had stayed longer! We had a lovely big room with a balcony overlooking the gardens where we had breakfast most days. Breakfasts were generous and very yummy, with lots of options - but we could not go past the banana pancakes! Service was fantastic and all the staff were very friendly! Afternoon tea was served each day and there are plenty of good restaurants nearby. The main street of Ubud is only a short walk away and they also offer a free shuttle service. We can’t wait to come back!

Our stay at Alam Shanti was great! The staff is amazingly friendly and lovely. The breakfast was great and the bungalows beautiful we stayed in the upper Vila called Ghangga and we could watch monkeys play on our balcony and had a good rest at the terrace after the hussle and buzzle after a day in Ubud.
We also made use of the shuttlebus which was great but because of the well known Ubud- traffic you mustn’t be in a hurry!
Compliments for the friendly and sweet staff!

This was our second stay at Alam Shanti and it is the perfect place for an authentic Bali experience. The rooms and gardens are absolutely beautiful, the breakfast is delicious, the staff always obliging and the free hotel shuttle is a very thoughtful service. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!

We have been visiting Ubud for over 10 years now and only ever stay at one of the three Alam hotels - Alam Shanti, Alam Indah and Alam Jiwa - and wouldn't think of staying anywhere else. Each hotel is quite small so they all feel like a home away from home. All offer the same beauty and wonderful staff, but each has a slightly different aesthetic due to their location. You can't go wrong with any of them.

We are already booked for next year for another stay at Alam Shanti.

Our group of 6 stayed at this beautiful traditional resort. The staff were all very kind and helpful. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious and a lot of food and they even prepared a breakfast box for our 4 am departure to the airport. They have menus for food delivery and there are restaurants at the end of the street that were also good.
The pool is wonderful and we all loved the grounds which are like a beautiful botanical garden.
There is a monkey sanctuary close by and we were able to see a number of monkeys at the pool and from the balcony.

To all the wonderful staff - Terima Kasih 🙏

This was our second stay at Alam shanti, and I can’t wait to return. We love the traditional style of the room and gardens, staff are all friendly and helpful. Great location for those who don’t want the full on vibe of central Ubud, but still able to walk 10 mins to go out for shopping and restaurants. We ate every night just 1 min walk from hotel and loved the peace away from main Street . We stayed in Gangaa, same as previous visit, and felt so comfortable and relaxed. Loooove Alam shanti!!

Unique experience of individual bungalows; bedrooms designed with an outdoor bathroom. Very comfortable, spacious room with own front terrace. Comfortable large bed with mosquito net, minibar, A/C, welcome fruit bowl. Excellent breakfast. I highly recommend the black rice pudding! Lovely pool. Shuttle to town. (Descriptions saying nearby entrance to monkey forest are inaccurate. That entrance is closed.) But the best thing about this place is the attentiveness of the staff. They will bend over backwards to be helpful. I arrived with a mobility scooter and they actually built two ramps for me so I could access the room!
