Rooms are big, with air conditioning with 2 pools. One with salted water. It's only the second hotel in which I didn't find bug in it (except mosquitoes). In the centre of ubud, however, it can be noisy at night, until 2am, you can hear the music played in restaurants nearby.

A traditional Balinese style bungalow, The staff are very friendly and helpful, there are two pools, the salt water over looks the rice fields. The other is a fresh water pool which has a few cracked tiles and we cut ourselves on them. Very clos to the Ubud market, shops and Monkey forest road, all in walking distance. I would...

Totally by coincidence we arrived at Bali airport at 9pm on the Balinese new year festivities. We should have suspected something when this hotel could not provide the planed booked transfer service but assured us a taxi would be available from the airport taxi service. Alas all were shut including ATM and money changers. So without any cash we pleaded...

I spent a few nights in cendana, they looked after me very well, the staff was very attentive and helpful. I got a very nice room, clean, bathroom was nice. Wifi was ok, but I think it's ok everywhere. They got 2 pools, the last one is amazing with great views of the rice fields. Good atmosphere , the people...

The website shows a "deluxe" room of which there is only one in fact. It is at the rear of the property above the spa and a long way from the pool. They don't often rent it. The rest of the rooms are run down and nothing like the photos of the deluxe room. We booked 2 rooms for 4...

My partner and I stayed at Cendana for three nights at the end of our Bali diving holiday in October 2016. Our room overlooked the rice paddies, which was really beautiful, and being set back a little from the road meant that the resort wasn't too noisy. Our room was on the second floor, so it also got a slight...

Our room was around $150 AUS, but was lovely: luxurious, huge, marble bathroom with shower and bath, huge, comfy bed, balcony, tiny fridge, but no room safe. Brekkie was good, big selection (green banana pancakes are yum), but the best part was the larger of the 2 pools, so beautiful, overlooking a rice field in the centre of beautiful Ubud....

Cendana Resort has everything you could want: gorgeous landscaping, two wonderful swimming pools, a spa, restaurant, and outstanding staff offering personalized service with the big-hearted smiles that Bali is famous for. With only 31 rooms, you'll never feel crowded or rushed, and with more staff than guests, it's easy to feel pampered and we'll cared for. The resort has its...
