Everything was perfect: - the breakfast; especially the banana pancakes, best in Bali - the staff; really friendly, helpful, caring, funny and nice - the room; clean, comfortable beds (especially loved our room at the second floor with the view on the garden and pool), - driver; we had our favorite driver via Jiwas (one of the family members) - great value for money; you get way more quality then the price would assume - great location; beautiful and great warungs/restaurants where you can eat at a armslength away Thanks for everything!

This place was a little gem. Just far enough off the main road to be quiet but close enough to be able to walk everywhere. Room was large and clean. Bed was soft and comfortable and air con was efficient. Breakfast was served outside your room at a time you selected, it was simple but delicious, from a small list of options. The only downside was the low water pressure in the shower, but that was a small downside. This family run homestay was friendly and I felt very safe as a solo female traveller. Would definitely stay again.

The perfect place for your stay in Ubud. Jiwa's House is absolutely beautiful and we couldn't have picked a better spot. You're basically staying in a lovely room on the family's property where they have their own family temple, lot of greenery and a pool. The location is great as well, just off the main road in Ubud so a little quieter but close enough so that you can walk to the hustle and bustle in a few minutes. They offer scooter rentals and can arrange taxis and tours for you as well at Jiwa's House which was a great service we used. If you're looking for a relaxing place with the kindest people in Ubud look no further! Also one of the best warungs in Indonesia we've been to is right across the road, Warung Krisna.

Up a little side street and hidden away is this gem of a place to stay. Our host was very accommodating upon our arrival and breakfast served to us on our balcony every morning was a great touch. Comfortable king size bed, mosquito netting around and good air con. Walk in shower was powerful and reasonable storage. Decent WiFi. Some large steps for the rooms next to the pool so those that can’t manage them I’d suggest not booking those rooms. An excellent stay, very close to a multitude of places to eat and drink and easy to find in the dark!

We had a lovely airy upstairs room, with a balcony, in this small guest house, All the light switches and sockets are in the right place in the room, which makes a change, and the bed was very comfortable. The shower had perhaps seen better days, but in alll the room was good. Breakfast is ordered the night before and served on your balcony and the banana pancakes and waffles were great. We didn’t use the swimming pool due to torrential rain, but it was very small and tucked away at the back of the property. The location is great only a short walk from the Main Street in Ubud, where there Is great shopping and some nice bars and restaurants. Very reasonable price and highly recommend if you want somewhere unsophisticated and friendly.

The owner and his son are so hospitable, including their efficient staff. They have done an amazing job maintaining their property and ensuring high standards of service - comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom all the time. Pool cleanliness - 8.5/10 Breakfast - 8.5/10 Location - 10/10 Coffee/tea making facilities with 2 bottles of water provided daily. The only cons i had was that there were no bathroom amenities provided or it was not refilled but this only caused a small inconvenient to me as I brought my own shampoo and purchased wonderful soap from KOU to use during my stay. Great value for money and fantastic location. Don’t mind the cockerel and chirping birds - they’re all the wonderful sounds of nature.

We had 3 nights stay in Jiwa's house in November. Nice room, clean bathroom. No TV Hairdryer, kettle and cups are in disposal for guests. Copious breakfast with fruits, juice and tea/coffee included. Choose room near swimming pool, more calm in comparison with room near entrance. Had difficulty to sleep first night because of singing birds and cocks. You can order laundry service for 1 dollar per kilo, very fast service (4 hours and clothes are clean and well ironed. Very beautiful swimming pool. City-center, closely (300m) to big market

I was so comfortable at Jiwa's House. The owner and his son were great and supplied me with everything I needed for a good stay. They were happy to offer recommendations when I asked. My room was very lovely, the landscape was lush, the shower was perfect. The room had everything I needed. The bed was very comfy. Breakfast was preordered and set on your patio at the time you picked. It was simple but good with fresh fruit and freshly squeezed fruit juice. Location was perfect as I like to be right in the middle of things with walking distance to many attractions and rests etc. There's a lovely small pool with a couple of loungers . . .perfect for relaxing. They sell Bintangs for a good price . . . love those Bintangs in Bali! I'd be happy to stay here anytime!

I like the location (easy to find it with the scooter). Room was nice and big (unfortunately without any shower gel). Terrace floor was clean and the pool was great. For breakfast you have a lot of different food to select. Table and chairs needs some maintenance.
