Great little homestay just off the pace but still close to all the main streets, restaurants, yoga studios etc. Made & Made are lovely people who were extremely welcoming and helpful. The room was clean & the bed big was comfortable. I loved the open air private bathroom. The warm water took a little while to come through but not...

I can't say enough just how much we loved our stay here. We originally planned to stay one night on our way to another city, but we were so happy with our room and the service that we ended up staying a week. The owners are the most genuinely caring people I have ever met, and they took such great...

Really nice homestay. The owners are so nice, you should also try the balinese rice pudding for breakfast and the nasi campur for dinner. It's delicious! Good value for money, but do not expect luxury, however. There is a fan and no a/c and you will need the provided mosquito net for the night. Good location, right between the city...

I can't speak highly enough for the Tungeh Inn. My friend and I spent about 3 weeks there over the summer and it was the perfect base for us to explore Ubud and the larger island. The family is WONDERFUL. Warm, inviting, and caring. You can stop your search here!

My girlfriend and I had a really nice stay at the Tungeh Inn. The rooms are located at the serene and beautiful garden with ponds and singing birds. What better way than to start your morning here with a cup of fresh tea? Breakfast is also really good! Always a bowl of fresh fruit together with an egg, pancake or...

If you're looking for all the modern conveniences and a spacious bedroom, Tungeh Inn probably isn't the place for you. But if you're willing to forgive just a little here and there, you'll be richly rewarded with the warmth of Made's hospitality and the exquisite beauty of her lovely Balinese garden. Imagine yourself enjoying a delicious breakfast, different every day,...

We had a fantastic stay with Maddi and her family. It is best to book by phone. If you Google Tungeh Inn Ubud use the phone number beginning 028 because the first search result website contacts the agent who charges a big fee. The grounds were fabtastic, like staying in a temple! Very peaceful and relaxing with chirping birds and...

This is a very basic guest house, alfresco bathroom was a disgrace, but I arrived at a time Maddi and her family were preparing for a family temple ceremony, and this just made everything else unimportant. Amazing welcome, bedroom was fine, but insecure, very central in Ubud, loved it, but expensive, do not book online as she adds 50% for...

“I chose the superior room, but was honestly not sure what was better about it than the regular room. I did have an upper floor, but someone else I was traveling with had the same superior room and was on a lower floor.”

“I seemed to get a lot less mosquitoes in my room on the second floor than my friend did on the ground floor; in fact, I didn't even have a mosquito net in the room which I was concerned about at first but I didn't get bitten once. Perhaps being slightly further from the ponds in the courtyard helped.”

“Downstairs rooms are more integrated in daily family life - upstairs rooms offer more privacy and a nice sunset view.”
