Begonia is an amazing woman, she runs the Kupu Kupu foundation to improve the lives of children with disabilities and the bungalows help to raise money to run the foundation. She is really helpful to plan your stay in Ubud, very good advises and take care of bookings !! The bungalows have basic comfort (cold water, fan) but everything from...

It is a beautiful and fabulous place to unwind - admist nature Hearing the sounds of the river below, birds chirping in the morning was very relaxing. My husband and me wanted to just sit and enjoy the lush green forest from our villa. The staff was very friendly and everything there was super good. I am really glad that...

Kupu Kupu bungalows it's a good place to stay in Ubud, if you are looking for something simple and quiet. It's really close to the center of Ubud (15 min walk) in the middle of the rice fields. And you can help the foundation (kupu kupu) by staying in the bungalows. Nice experience.

We stayed there for 2 nights and enjoyed the whole experience. The bungalows are quite simple but charming and the staff is really nice and helpful (you can book tours and trips through them and a part of the money goes to their foundation for people with disabilities). The surroundings are very nice (the place is located in the middle...

First and foremost - by staying at Kupu Kupu (meaning butterfly in bahasa) you are helping the good cause. Secondly, you can escape incessant traffic in Ubud amidst the rice fields and enjoy the sounds of nature (as well as geckos, cocks, etc.). The rooms are basic but so is the price, including small pleasant on your own terrace. Begonia,...
