This is a fairly new hotel just outside Ubud. The staff are very kind and thoughtful, and were the highlight of the stay. We stayed in the rooftop one bedroom with own pool which was a lovely space (complete with resident gecko!) - no mosquitoes, clean with a high ceiling and an enormous bathroom. The mini bar (snacks, coke and water) are restocked daily, and there is happy hour at the main pool and another at the bar (I recommend the negroni). The shuttle runs four times a day (takes about 20mins to get into Ubud) but the staff will happily arrange additional transport and tours if you need at minimal cost (12000 rupiah for a taxi into Ubud). The location means you are away from the hustle of the town, although you will need to either walk to the local store (10mins) or go into Ubud for more supplies if you want to stay at the hotel all day.
The only (minor) disappointment was the inconsistent quality of hotel food. The standard items (snacks at the main meal, croissants and coffee at breakfast) were great, but the menu was cooked differently depending on the kitchen staff. The same delicious item one day would be inedible with excess salt or chilli the next, and (as you would expect) western menu items like pizza were a let down. But many of the meals (especially the Indonesian items) were delicious, so stick with them and you'll have a great stay.

What a beautiful resort in Bali Ubud. Perfect food, Excellent service, Professional Spa & massage. We got at least 10 different types of breakfast to choose, you may choose have the meal at room as well. At the afternoon, you may also have an afternoon tea with a drinks and light meal at 3-5 p.m. Moreover, we must give them a highlight, with the WhatsApp service function. You may ask anything, reserve shuttle car, order breakfast/dinner, book the Massage service in WhatsApp which we were outside the resort. In addition, we reserved Massage treatment (Balinese & sport). We felt like impressing and it's professional because we were both a sensitive body but the treatment made you deeply relax and joyful. We love AnandaDara , if you were planning have a vacation in Ubud, don’t hesitate to choose them. At the last but not least, there is little bit far away from the midtown Ubud (15mins by car), if we didn’t catch the time with the free shuttle car, Gojek/GarbCar is the only option.

Words can not describe our upmost satisfaction with your hotel. The service-oriented staff has been nothing but generous and hospitable. Starting with the hotel decoration and look & feel ; the place has a calming vibe with a true sense of holiday relaxation wherever you go. The surrounding nature perfectly compliments the Bali feeling along with the sounds of fauna around you. The rooms are bigger than most in Ubud and this made our stay even more enjoyable.
We were pleasantly surprised upon our arrival to learn that many complimentary services such as free shuttles to Ubud, breakfast all day should you miss it in the morning and the daily afternoon teas were also a true plus included in our stay. These small details truly made the difference for us.
We would like to point out that the hotel is still under construction but that had minimum impact on us as we thought the construction works were fairly quiet and as we were not in the room very often during the day, it was not cumbersome.
We would like to add a few recommendations for the resort in order to excel to the highest possible standards.
Amenities : Our room did not have any hook to hang the towels. We would advice on adding some to avoid them laying on the floor and/or on furniture. Furthermore, we would also advice on adding a magnifying mirror in each room.
Facilities : The jacuzzi is at the same temperature as the pool (non heated). We would recommend to either precise during the booking process that it is a non heated jacuzzi or heat it to allow customers to benefit from it on colder days.
Activities : Promote the “West Bali tour” for a full day on your website. Awan and Komang were fantastic guides highlighting the top sights to see on the island. Awan also has many more talents such as top tier photography and has extensive knowledge about Bali. We would highly recommend you to add a “photography” option for customers during their stay.
We would again like to shine the light on the amazing staff members in particular : A BIG THANK YOU to Awan, Manik, Komang and Dewa. You have exceeded our expectations. The magic team was extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. We truly wish them and the rest of the Adiwana Kamania crew all the best for the future and for the continuous growth of the hotel.
We highly recommend this beautiful resort as we loved every single part of it.

This resort is nested in a quite area surrounded by rice fields 15min away from Ubud centre. The service is excellent, the housekeeping top notch. Ferdi made our room look new everyday. The wait staff are very attentive and lovely, the food is delicious and has a good variety. The tours they offer are slightly more pricey than in Ubud, but we felt they actually sourced the best service, location and itinerary and provided a higher quality and curated experience which made the extra cost worth it.

It’s in the name. You are immersed in a primeval forest.
The front view from the restaurant reminds you of Middle-earth and you can almost picture encountering Hobbits if you stayed long enough.
The pool and sun-beds are the perfect place to unwind. You wonder if staying back in the resort wasn’t a better idea. We went to Tegenungan waterfall which is a terrific place but when we came back to our resort we felt it was more beautiful and stilling than any waterfall out there. It’s also clean and well maintained.
The rooms are huge, well-equipped, bathrooms are also spacious and squeaky clean with the shower and toilet separated by glass walls (small modification but goes a long way). A bathtub that makes the dwelling more sensuous.
Equally importantly, their service is flawless. We were warmly greeted by all their staff every single time we crossed paths (from the reception folks to the waiters to the security guards to housekeeping). They are not only considerate people but also efficient in their job and answer your requests pronto.
We loved the breakfast menu. They are generous with the sides de hors the menu. The croissants and ayam satay were some of the best I’ve ever had. Certainly better than other restaurants in Ubud.
The place might do well with an option to heat the jacuzzi and making the butter chicken more flavourful (Indian) and less insipid.
A shoutout to Ari Parmayun he speaks well in English ably manages the place and lucidly explained all the ins and outs of Adiwana Kamania; Tira she had a really pleasant disposition and served us merrily at regular and odd hours; Dewa Medin he took a genuine interest in getting to know us and it was fun learning about his roots.
A big thank you to the team (owners, managers, workers). We hope to come back here on our next trip to Bali and hope the place gets even better!
