Beautiful rooms, economical, quiet haven in central Ubud. A haven of healing and conversational types. Enjoy close access to Angelo herbal store, Radiantly Alive yoga and the shopping strips. Amazing family run the homestay and staff are beautiful, welcoming and accommodating. Xxx

Sandat Bali Ubud is just one more example of Bali hospitality businesses in desperate need of some hospitality training and strong leadership. Nothing here is hugely bad, but the place seems to be lacking fine tuning in every department. For a start, there seemed to be more locals at this property than guests. They were using the downstairs area/ inner...

First off, I had a small problem finding the Sandat. My trip advisor map showed that it was down a side street of JI Sugriwa, so I was looking for a side street and walked right past it. The sign, when approaching on foot from JI Raya Ubud, is obscured by plants and isn't very obvious, so it's easy to...

The reviews and pictures looks good when booking Sandat Bali, but the place does have it flaws. The worst points were cleanliness of the shower, damp smell in the room and ants. We had tiny ants in the shower and I saw a couple in my bed or on the walls in the room. Also the wifi was poor, it...

Very private very friendly wonderful atmosphere family operated business. Very surprised as to how inexpensive the stay was and how large the room was. Try to get one of the very back two rooms, larger and quieter.

This is a great hotel! The family that you stay with are lovely! The rooms are big and spacious and the one i am in is in a corner so i have extra windows which is brilliant! Breakfast is standard but good. Will 100% stay here when i come back to Bali. It is like a home away from home.

Loved this place. Lovely little room with the bear essentials. The pool was small but set in a courtyard as if you were in a jungle. Nice breakfast every morning and central to the restuarants and 5-10 min walk to the monkey forrest. If you're looking for basic but yet good service with friendly staff then this is a good...

Clean and really nice rooms with balcony. Great breakfast. Well located in the city center, though very calm as a little off the main road. Some constructions going on at the moment. Apart from that nothing negative to mention.

Couldn't have asked for a better stay in Ubud! The whole family who worked here were adorable. So helpful- even when I locked myself out of the safe! When we checked out the Grandad safely took my friend and I to Semyinkak, taking us to the holy water temple first and stopping for snacks along the way. The homestay was...
