Nestled amid scenic landscapes, Dinara Ubud is lauded for its tranquil atmosphere and lush greenery. Guests have called out the hotel's generous amenities, including a delectable breakfast and serene pool, complemented by a convenient shuttle service. The hotel's commitment to cleanliness and attentive service, featuring friendly staff and thoughtful communication, consistently earn rave reviews. While the rooms are celebrated for their spaciousness and comfort, a few travelers suggest they could benefit from brighter lighting and some updates. Nonetheless, the overall value, with affordable luxuries like Balinese massages and scooter rentals, makes Dinara Ubud a popular choice.

Short stay in Ubud where we spent 4 nights at Dinara. The hotel is located outside the busy center of Ubud. It is a haven of peace in a green setting with the scent of incense with always smiling and very helpful staff. The rooms are modern and well equipped in a Zen atmosphere (bring mosquito repellent). The infinity pool is nestled in the rainforest. The Melali bar restaurant serves excellent and very generous breakfasts and local dishes no more expensive than elsewhere.

Our stay at Dinara Ubud was one of the Unpacked of our time in Ubud!
Upon our arrival we were immediately greeted very friendly and with the drink of the house in the beautiful open lobby. We also learned there that we were getting a free upgrade of our room.
The room is very nice, with Balinese pictures, a painted wall behind the bed, smart TV, safe, ... Especially the bathroom is noteworthy with a nice spacious shower and a large bathtub with a plant front behind it.
We also have a terrace with upholstered bench, beautiful wooden chairs and wooden table with a jungle view (view varies by room)
In a nutshell, some special features that like Dinara Ubud have used:
- Shuttle service to and from Ubud center (at fixed times, free of charge)
- Yoga every Saturday and Tuesday (free)
- Canang Sari course (free, highly recommended)
- free drinking water in the room and free bottle filling
- free toiletries in the bathroom (toothbrushes, toothpaste, cotton swabs, shaving kit, hairdryer,...)
- etc.

In general, the hotel area is very atmospheric. As is the restaurant, which also serves wonderfully arranged food that also makes something tasteful. The price is perfectly fine by our standards.
Of particular note is the kindness and consideration of the staff. Immediately they remembered our names, in the restaurant they remembered my wife's allergies that we would rather brown than white sugar, and they are always respectful and try to fulfill your wishes.
For example, they helped me surprise my wife by decorating the room on our honeymoon, putting a small cake on the table and preparing a flower bath. And to offset that at no cost.
Since we collect coins, we also asked if there are IDR coins. Then they pointed into which, explained, and gave us some for our collection (even those that are no longer produced). They're not worth much in monetary terms, but we still think that's very nice.
I could write a lot more that I like about Dinara Ubud, but I think my enthusiasm has become clear.
All other aspects such as cleanliness/hygiene, room service, ... are all excellent!
I can explicitly recommend the Dinara Ubud to every person, every couple, every family with the budget - look no further, here since you are exactly right!

We had a wonderful stay at the Dinara Hotel. The hotel is, in addition to being very comfortable, very beautiful, and the staff is extremely kind, taking great care of us.
The bedroom and bathroom are spacious and comfortable with everything you need available.
The restaurant: the breakfasts are delicious and plentiful, the meals are also very good and at reasonable prices.
The pool is beautiful, calm and relaxing.
I was also able to benefit from a Balinese massage at the hotel spa, one of the best massages I have had.
The hotel is generally quiet, being a little out of the center of Ubud, apart from the sounds of nature and its animals which are part of the decor, we did not have any noise pollution.
A shuttle makes 2 trips (10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.) and 1 return (4:40 p.m.) per day between the hotel and Ubud.
We can ask reception to refill our mineral water bottles as many times as we want each day.
I would like to sincerely thank the staff for their great kindness and availability.

I highly recommend this hotel if you plan to visit Ubud, and will recommend it to my friends and family.

Walking into this hotel you immediately feel relaxed. The grounds are stunningly landscaped and maintained and designed for privacy. After an initial hiccup with the room we booked we were upgraded to a stunning balcony room which was unexpected but we were very grateful for. Here we enjoyed the sunsets daily.

We were happy to see vegan options on the menu for the restaurant next door and enjoyed the cocktails too.

The beds are comfortable, rooms are clean and the outlook is green and natural. The faint sound of birds and roosters in the morning just reminded us we were on holidays in a beautiful spot in the world.

The staff were all very friendly, happy and helpful and nothing was too much for them to assist with.

While the hotel don’t have a laundry service there is a very cheap and high quality laundry next door. The staff also helped us organise scooter hire and we enjoyed the easy location doing our own sight seeing each day.

We will come back here- it was a beautiful hotel.

Beautiful, picturesque hotel with very friendly, helpful, and accommodating staff. The hotel has a pool and mini rice field (great photo op) on very well maintained grounds.

The room was spacious with an equally spacious bathroom equipped with both a bathtub and shower, and a sizeable balcony. Everything was clean and looked new. The bed was very comfortable which is great for a good night's rest after sightseeing all day.
We were greeted by a welcome note on our first day and every day that our room was cleaned, we got a different card telling us about Ubud's culture, history or an ancient folklore. I loved this unique touch to the stay as I'd learn something new each time.

We were mainly out during the day so only had breakfast at the hotel. The food was delicious, well portioned and filling. The breakfast option had both western and traditional Balinese offerings so you can explore. You can also ask for a floating breakfast for an extra charge.

I would definitely recommend Dinara Ubud and would gladly go back there if I'm ever in the area again.

Super nice and clean hotel. Really nice and friendly staff. They have a WhatsApp chat function that you can use at any time and it works really well. You get an answer to any query within minutes. Room service can also be ordered via this chat. You can also borrow beach towels for trips to the waterfall, for example. The breakfast is top-class. You choose between (1) tea and coffee, (2) which juice (freshly squeezed, simply amazing) and (3) the food you want. We really enjoyed our stay there and would love to come back. It really is a great hotel and the restaurant (Melali) is amazing! The location is a little outside of Ubud but the hotel offers a great shuttle service and you can be in town in 10 minutes. It was a great experience there.

Thank you for making our honeymoon so unforgettable! Our first stop was the Dinara Ubud, and we fully enjoyed our Villa. The service was excellent, and the staff were incredibly polite, quick and helpful. The food was very, very delicious and rich.

We can heartily recommend the spa – it was a wonderful, relaxing experience. The location of the hotel is perfect; the center of Ubud can be reached in just a few minutes by shuttle or taxi. We were also often on the scooter to visit the sights.

A special highlight was the breakfast that the hotel gave us for our volcano ascent. I would love to visit this hotel again in the near future.

This is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at in a while. To begin with, the staff are extremely kind and caring. They remember your name, they know your requests and when you stay somewhat longer (11 days in our case), they start anticipating your requests beforehand. They inquire about the quality of your stay, how your room is and whether anything can be done to improve your stay. They make you feel at home.

The room we stayed in (Dinara Suite) is very nice and cozy. The bathroom was amazing, with a huge shower and awesome water pressure (which can be a thing in Ubud) and a gigantic bath. They gave all the sanitation utensils you would need in a bathroom and a blow-dryer that was actually useful to dry clothes with from the rain (travel hack). The airconditioning was good and the staff provided a dehumidifier machine daily for when it had rained heavily and it got a little humid.

The pool and cowork (soon to be another restaurant) are awesome and the lounge beds are great. The attention to detail everywhere is noticed and appreciated. The restaurant is quite amazing too. The staff there are attentive and remember your preferences. We for example had specific requests for smoothies and dishes, and they remembered them fairly quickly. The food is delicious, freshly made with very good ingredients and very reasonably priced. We loved the included breakfastcl and our dinners there.

Our stay here was amazing. The only con is that there are some roosters and chickens that start their morning routine pretty early, at like 4:30-5:00 am. Which can be a thing for light sleepers. We sort of got used to it after a week, but you're still aware of it.

This Boutique hotel is well maintained and the Dinara suite is sizable with a hugh bathroom and a balcony.

The location is a bit far from the ubud city center so you should expect to catch a cab or scooter which takes around 15-20 minutes to the buzz area.

The service is amazing with friendly staffs. The only thing is the sound proof is not superb for the room.

The highlight is definitely the restaurant which serve the freshest and tasty meals and breakfast. Great selection on the breakfast as well and hands down the best to start the day with !

This is a good value boutique hotel to stay with.

We stayed at different hotels in Ubud, but Dinara is the BEST! There is a high quality of service and attention to detail.

Lovely hotel in an excellent location. Rooms are spotless & cleaned daily, breakfast is plentiful at Melasti Restaurant (which we found in many of Ubud restaurant guides).
Staff are very helpful!

Now we wouldn't dream of staying anywhere other than Dinara when we are in Ubud.

Special thank you to the manager who made our stay even better than we expected! Excellent experience!
