This is a value for money resort in popular Ubud. We were happy with the location, as the resort was out of the busy town center with shuttles provided to transport us to and from town as required.

Ely's Kitchen was an efficiently run restaurant, 24/7 food and drinks provider to the guests. We thought it was smart thinking by management providing the free afternoon tea service each day. Because the Ubud town center is absolutely packed with traffic congestion of vehicles, mopeds and tourists, it was a nice option to enjoy afternoon tea if escaping the craziness of the town center at the resort.

The hotel reception upon check in, immediately provided us with a private WhatsApp number to contact the resort staff - here you can request whatever you need, and the response was always immediate. Whether it be a few extra bottles of water for the room, fresh bath towels, or to arrange a day trip somewhere with a driver. That WhatsApp number service made the trip to Ubud succeed for us.

Recommend to those staying here - really make use of the private WhatsApp line they provide you with to work out day trips around the beautiful Ubud countryside. The staff are very helpful - if you book the optional trek, make sure in advance you work out with staff where you want to be taken with the guide - staff are helpful but you need to be proactive in communicating with them what you want to see.

We stayed in a room on a higher floor with a beautiful view of the trees (the room was an Adiwana Forest View room). The room had ample light and a big balcony to relax whilst enjoying the peaceful views.

Only feedback to management - bottled water provided for teeth cleaning needed to be bigger bottles. Pool area daybeds would have been better utilized if cleaned once vacated for the next guest wanting to use the pool. The pool is not large, and only ten daybeds around the pool with ground floor hotel rooms directly overlooking the daybeds.

The onsite spa - Tejas Spa was fantastic. I enjoyed a wonderful Abhyangam massage provided by Setia and Yunita - best massage ever.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and this resort is competitively priced for the total package that they strive to offer their guests. This is not a top end luxury resort, but it was a very pleasant stay and would recommend.

Lovely resort outside the busyness of Ubud central. Shuttle goes at scheduled times. Staff super friendly and helpful. Rooms fabulous and spacious. Loved the outside bathroom. The sitting area is out the front of the room so no private space which for me was the only downside. The pool was nice although we were surprised that the lounges were pretty much full. The pool is lovely. Would definitely recommend

Adiwana Unagi Suites Hotel in Ubud is a true gem and the perfect place to escape from everyday life. On arrival you will be warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. The service is simply perfect – every wish is read off your lips.

The location of the hotel is spectacular: Nestled in the breathtaking nature of the jungle, Adiwana Unagi Suites offers a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. The view of the countryside ensures pure relaxation and gives you the feeling of being in the middle of nature without having to give up luxury.

The rooms are just fantastic. We had a room with direct access to the pool – spotlessly clean, stylishly decorated and with an attention to detail that is hard to beat. The balance between modernity and traditional Balinese charm is struck perfectly here.

Of particular note is the hotel’s restaurant, “Ely’s Kitchen”. The kitchen offers an exceptional dining experience with fresh, local ingredients and creative dishes. Each meal is a feast for the senses, and the view from the restaurant terrace completes the experience.

The entire hotel area is extremely clean and well maintained. You can feel how much emphasis is placed on details and guest satisfaction. The beautiful atmosphere – both in the common areas and in the private rooms – makes Adiwana Unagi Suites a place to return to.

I can recommend Adiwana Unagi Suites Hotel to anyone looking for luxurious yet nature-loving accommodation in Ubud. An absolutely unforgettable stay!

Thanks to the whole team♥️🙏

We enjoyed Adiwana Unagi. Overall it was a good experience with a few items to address.

It was disappointing not to be advised in advance about road closures or closure of facilities such as the 'Sky Lounge'.

We chose the hotel due to it's location and excellent reviews, in theory far enough away to be quiet and away from the madness but a short 5-minute drive down Jl. Suweta. That road has closures so the drive to the Ubud centre is now 25-minutes round back roads.

There was NO effort made in advance to tell me about this, just an email sent the night before arriving with instructions for my driver. This is not really acceptable - Adiwana spend a lot of time on social media with "influencers" and models for advertising so your team could have easily sent an advisory email or have it made clear on your web site.

The room facilities were good. I will echo a previous reviewer. The club rooms have open bathrooms and there are a LOT of bugs can get into the room. There were no mosquito coils in use in the bathrooms to deter them. One of my group got bitten a lot sleeping at night.

The pool was great, very refreshing with a beautiful outlook. Service by the housekeeping team was excellent - the rooms were cleaned to a high standard and all the staff at Unagi were super friendly.

Food was good. Some breakfast items were a bit hit and miss but over all good quality.

There is entertainment several nights - a cultural night / dancers and later in the week singer / guitarist who was good. It would be good to understand what the dances are about. Maybe an information pamphlet would help.

Dear Mr/s. Iamsuperk, Warmest Greeting from Adiwana Unagi Suites! Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback about your recent stay at Adiwana Unagi. We’re pleased to hear that you enjoyed our pool, friendly service, cultural entertainment, and the high standard of housekeeping during your visit. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the road closures and the unavailability of the Sky Lounge. We understand how important advance communication is, especially regarding logistical changes that could impact your experience. Your point is well taken, and we will work on improving the way we share such updates with our guests, whether through direct emails or website notices. Regarding your comments about the room and mosquito prevention, we appreciate your feedback and will review our current practices. Enhancing guest comfort and addressing concerns like this are priorities for us. We’re glad you enjoyed the food and entertainment, and we value your suggestion about providing more information on the cultural dances. A pamphlet or similar resource is a great idea, and we’ll explore ways to incorporate this to enrich our guests’ experience. Thank you again for your thoughtful review. It was our pleasure to host you, and we hope to welcome you back in the future for an even better experience. Best Regards, Putu & Adiwana Unagi Suites Family

We stayed in a suite with an open air bathroom with bathtub. There was only one basin with no shaver provided. The bathtub was uncovered and so lots of leaves and debris collected in it when not in use. The open air rain shower had good water pressure and lots of hot water. There was no hand held shower provided. The main door to the suite was usually difficult to open. The included breakfast and afternoon tea were average in quality. The service of the staff was excellent, but the property itself is dated and not luxurious. The pool overlooking the jungle also faced a building visible through the trees, that is not shown in the publicity photos. There is no gym. We paid more than US$335 per night, but we think a fair rate would be about US$225.

My husband and I stayed for 8 days and it’s great experience and service from welcome through to check out. We are the type of travellers that likes the blend of culture and finer things in life, and this place certainly has that.

The food at Ely’s Kitchen is not the cheapest if you compare it to restaurant around Ubud centre, but the food is consistently tasty with presentation and ambiance to go with them.

The rooms are spacious, clean and have everything you need, and if it doesn’t, you’re just a message away from their reception or front staff who are always eager to attend to your needs.

The activities you can do within the hotel or be arranged for you by the hotel are also great. You have the spa, the pool, cycling tour, Bali tours, and cultural options too. From the cultural part, we did the Canang Sari and Painting, and we thoroughly enjoyed both.

The staff service is amazing and all you really need to do is ask and they’re more than happy to help. There are staff that go beyond their actual jobs too and make you feel like you’re their friend or part of the community. So, special shout out to Gede, Yoga and Nyoman - thank you for your friendliness, sharing your culture and funny stories too! You made our stay extra special. For Adiyanni, Ulan and Sintya, thanks for always greeting us with warm smile.

Overall, great stay, highly recommend it and we are looking forward to visit again.

Love the great service, always welcome with smiles and attentiveness. Breakfast provided and have great variety, able to redeem this free breakfast anytime of the day. Wifi is strong and good. Motorcycle we rented from here is also good. Rooms are quiet and able to sleep in peace. Though there are no walls between the toilet area and bed. There are glass segmenting the shower and lavatory and a big curtain to separate the bed from the bathtub and basin. So overall it’s a big room with optional divider

We stayed in a Villa type room for two nights.

At first I was surprised to find a bath, toilet and washroom in the Villa semi-outdoor covered.
Newts occasionally appear high on the walls, and my wife was scared of them right after check-in, which may be hard to recommend for people who are absolutely out of insects and reptiles.
That said, the washrooms and pool in the Villa are well-cleaned and the newts don't come near people, so my wife got used to it after a while and felt comfortable.

The rooms and pool are very large and there is no shortage of facilities. The power plug is Indonesian type, so you need a conversion plug. We have been able to rent from the hotel, but the number of rentals seems to be limited.

Your interaction with hotel staff is basically done using the what's app. The staff reply quickly and the response is courteous, friendly and easy to talk to.
I used it for all day breakfast requests and spa Reservations.
Staff cleaning and service levels are also high. When I came back in the evening of the second day, I saw a bedmaking art made of bamboo leaves, which was also cute and impressive.

You can choose from about 15 main dishes for breakfast. I asked for a smoothie bowl and a salmon breakfast plate, both of which were very delicious and satisfying.

The semi-outdoor washrooms may give you some split tastes, but the rooms and service are very satisfactory and it is a very good Resort.

This hotel is a haven of peace just a few minutes from the center of Ubud. In the middle of nature, it is worth it, not only for the location and the wonderful views we had from the terrace of our room and from the pool. If not, for the hospitality of its workers. Always attentive and with a smile on their face, ready to help you with anything you need.
With constant details, such as cookies in the room, snacks, products from the mini bar, etc.
In addition, one of them made an effort to speak Spanish, which we appreciate for the effort they show to get closer to the guests.
Incredible breakfasts, à la carte, but with variety to choose from. It is appreciated that they are quite healthy and with quality local products.
The dinners are also very tasty.
Perhaps the most expensive price, compared to warungs or restaurants in the center of Ubud, but you are in a luxury hotel.
The room with views of the forest is quite large and very well maintained. Enjoy the bathtub in the middle of the room, after several excursions, a good bath with foaming soap is appreciated. In addition, the daily cleaning is excellent and the bath products, both gels and creams, have a very pleasant smell. The only complaint I have is that the bathroom in our room gave off a subtle pipe smell. I would recommend using some type of product to remove it. Otherwise everything perfect.
Many thanks to all the hotel staff for making our honeymoon unforgettable!

The friendly staff, the food they serve without stopping, I'm satisfied with everything. There are no bugs in the room, and the Ellie's Kitchen in front is really delicious. The nasi goreng served in the morning is a must-eat. They even took me on a shuttle to the city, so they were friendly and cost-effective in Bali, where taxi fares are expensive. I think it will be difficult to find accommodations. I’m impressed.

Hi - as far as I know, everyone has access to the pool. It is in an open area. Towels are available at the pool for free use and you can have food and drinks delivered to the pool. PS The spa near the pool is fantastic. If you go, make a point of going.
