Padma Ubud Retreat

Padma Accommodations is a 12 room home stay on a quiet dead end street a 5 minute walk from downtown Ubud, Bali, Indonesia. This year we added 9 new rooms with ceiling fans and optional air conditioning. All rooms have internet access. We also added a swimming pool and deck. The three slightly older rooms are a bit larger than the new rooms and have refrigerators, ceiling fans and wonderful bathrooms, a photo of which is in the album. We offer free breakfast, bottled water and complimentary tea and/or coffee morning and afternoon. Our staff will clean your room every day. There is also a laundry service across the street from us.Now we are re brand Padma Accommodation to be PADMA UBUD RETREAT. Not only are we close to many excellent restaurants, many of those will deliver to your room. We can arrange reasonably priced transportation to and from the airport as well as tours around the Island.

What was not to like about this place? Located maybe 300 feet from one of the main streets in Ubud, the Padma Ubud Retreat was a quiet, relaxing oasis with everything you needed right nearby. Shops, restaurants, laundry service, massages, snack shops…the location was perfect.

We couldn’t fault this hotel. The rooms were beautifully cleaned and presented. Lovely balcony views of treetops and red roofs. The pool was large and shaded by trees. The included breakfast was also delicious and plentiful - delivered straight to your door and served on your bal

We really enjoyed the peace and tranquility of this retreat. With only 11 rooms, it is small and personal and run by a 4 generation family. Clean amenities and staff are very friendly. Breakfast is served on your private balcony and we were lucky to get one of the rooms with dire

Hi , can anyone tell me if there is good shopping nearby ? even a 15 min drive is ok...... homewares & nicer things? silver jewelery? not usual market stuff........ or, is it 45 mins away?? i'm getting conflicting advice....thanks :)
There are a TON of shops within walking distance. You have the huge traditional market selling the same souvenir stuff, but on the side streets you will find ample shops with nicer jewelry and some home-wares. Padma is in the perfect location to do shopping in Ubud.

Hi I will be travelling solo at the end of May and need two nights accomodation in ubud before moving to another villa for a family wedding. as i will be flying in late evening, i was wondering if the shuttle would be available to meet me at the airport. Do all of the rooms have air-conditioning ? I would need to leave a cash deposit on check-in. how much in AUD would that be? Thank you Carol
They can pick you up at the airport if you wish. There is a charge. You can get a cab from the airport very easily at the taxi office right outside the exit from terminal. 9 rooms have AC. I never had to leave a deposit. You do need to give them your passport so they can register you as a guest but they don't keep it, you get it back. The rooms include a very good breakfast of your choice and coffee or tea in the afternoon as well.
