Detailed Reviews
The rooms were very clean and Beautiful. The pool was cute. The staff was also helpful and friendly. We staid in this hotel from the 30th September 2019 to the 3rd October 2019. Just not enough hot water during the shower.

Unfortunately the room we booked wasn’t available when we arrived due to some issues with the toilet leaking which would be understandable if the room we got instead was bearable. The room we got accommodated was dirty and looked like no one had cleaned it for at least couple weeks. The floor was full of dust, the towels were so dirty we had to ask for new ones which were also not drying. Curtains had stains all over them the same with the material hanged over the convoy bed. Looked like haven’t been washed in a really long time. In the bathroom there were cockroaches and the floor in the there is full of stones which hurt your feet.

I don't understand the bad comments. Really for the price it is more than correct. The bedding is super comfortable, the breakfast hearty, varied and excellent, the staff with little care. Tea, coffee and water are served daily in your room. The pool is super pretty and well maintained. The place is very well located, away from the bustle of the center but close to bcp tourist attractions. Of course it is surrounded by nature so you can meet a lizard, some ants or hear the roosters and birds but it is part of the charm of the place. As the huts are made of wood we can hear what is happening around. But really we had a great stay of 2 nights originally planned we finally stayed 5 nights.

Nice quite place made by wood, looks rustic type of hotel. the view is nice from 2nd floor, it was rainy seasons, so cool and cold. The wifi a bit slow, and their is no Parking space for car. This place is accept pet. or pet friendly hotel.

The bedding was dirty, lots of stains and had holes in. There were ants in our bed, and cockroaches in the bathroom. There were cobwebs everywhere. The shower was the most depressing thing you’ve ever seen. The TV didn’t work either. The walls are literally paper thin, we could hear the girl below us having lots of ‘fun’. If anyone so much as sneezes, you can hear it. Location isn’t great either, it’s really in the middle of nowhere. This place definitely looks better on the photos. The bathroom has big stones all over the floor, so you have to wear shoes in there otherwise it hurts your feet, seemed very impractical.

I booked 3 hotels rooms for our bali trip and this one is definitely my favourite! the reception girl is super friendly, the room is huge and clean, the bathroom is really huge and fancy. The hotel is right at the mountain area so at the balcony or swimming pool, the view is sooooooo good, all green. You can order floating breakfast for extra cost 100000 local money(about 8 dollars) per couple, the breakfast is very good, and if you feel lazy going out for dinner or lunch , you can just order food from the hotel, the prices are so good and the taste is also very good! I would definitely stay here again!

The staff was so friendly and ready to assist you everytime! The room and the bathroom was huge and fancy! Amazing view from the room, surrounded by rice field. The breakfast was so good. I like the banana pancake:) You can rent scooter onsite just for IDR 60.000/day and you also can join their free shuttle to the Center in three times a day, and its was helpful. Had a really great stay in Royal JJ Resort & Spa :)

NASTY PEOPLE
I don’t write reviews often but I really felt I should write one about this place to warn other guests.
If your a digital nomad , which amounts to a huge amount of the long stay guests on Bali do not even consider to stay here for one day. The WiFi is useless in the room and around the pool. Being very patchy and sometimes just off altogether
The room are two storey built around a tiny pool. They are made of wood. If you are unfortunate enough to stay in the ground floor which are the only rooms with bathtub you will hear every single noise from the guest upstairs. If they cough , blow their nose etc it sounds like it’s in your room. If your on the phone working other guests can hear every word you say. So there’s very little privacy. The shacks also have gaps between the wood in the bedroom and bathroom so it’s very easy for a peeping Tom to get an eye full of you stepping out of the shower.
The bath tubs are a nice touch and do produce hot water. But the bathrooms have this flooring of pebbles which is hard to step across and really requires you to have footwear inside the bathroom when walking across it, taking a shower, getting out of the bath. It’s hugely inconvenient in the middle of the night.
They only serve breakfast. And that is very basic. Some watermelon, and a pancake or omelette. They serve no lunch or dinner. This would not be so bad but there is nowhere nearby to get any food either either as they location is in the middle of nowhere. They advise guests to use grab for take away food. Not exactly what guests want to do when in Bali, I was also sick and wanted to eat healthy food but that certainly wasn’t available at the hotel. It was a huge inconvenience.
During my stay my sickness became worse , it transpired that I had cholera and needed hospitalising. Which meant cutting my stay short. I had attempted to fetch a prescription on my last morning and been unable to do so because upon arriving at the chemist they didn’t have the medicine. They advised me which chemist had this medicine and suggested I went back to the hotel to rest and that the hotel would be able to fetch it for me. I then tried to get cash from the atm but there was a huge queue and I was feeling sick and dizzy so my grab taxi brought me back to the hotel.
I then proceeded to explain that I needed them to get the medicine urgently for me and that I was quite sick. I spoke with two members of staff. They tried to say that it wouldn’t be possible to get the prescription because it was very faint. When I contacted the Dr to explain what the hotel had said he laughed and said that they clearly just couldn’t be bothered to help me. The dr produced a clearer prescription and i produced that and it was ignored by the hotel.
They then came back to the room and I thought that they wanted the money for the prescription which was fair enough. But they attempted to get me to pay for the hotel in full for my stay ( which involved a further three weeks) because they were concerned that I may be admitted to hospital and wanted to make sure they could extrapolate the payment off me now before that happened!! They had no intention of getting the prescription and no care for the fact that they had a guest who was severely sick and alone on their premises. I refused to pay the full amount and threatened to call booking.com and they agreed to cancel the payment and only took for the days I had stayed.
Meanwhile a few days before getting sick I had asked for a SIM card from them. They had produced one and set it into my phone. On the day I had left the premises to try to get the prescription was when I realised that the sim wasn’t working at all. I pointed this out to them when they produced the bill but they still tried to charge me for a useless sim.
For the last three days of my stay I had barely left my room and had informed them I was very sick. It was obvious from just looking at me. I couldn’t stand up straight and was very pale. I didn’t leave the room, didn’t go downstairs for breakfast and never used the pool. At no point did a single member of staff ask if I needed anything , or check up o me.
On both occasions that I ordered a grab taxi a member of staff from the hotel came out side and shouted at the grab driver . It transpired that they they have a hotel taxi driver which they clearly profit from so they don’t want guests using grab taxis and not being able to profit from that.
If you like a quiet hotel that has no eating facilities and is in the middle of nowhere by all means stay. But do not be fooled by the reception staffs pseudo smiles. When they think your not looking the smile instantly turns into a snarl.
There are so many better places to stay in Bali with much better facilities at the same price or even less.
