After such bold statement as this review's headline I need to point out I really liked the villa I stayed in, which was Pererepan. However I had to leave with a heavy bittersweet kind of feeling. Let me explain why. The villa has a really nice eco, natural vibe, made of bamboo, right in the midst of the jungle. Away... More

Dear Alberto , thank-you for taking the time to give us your feedback. We are happy that you liked the villa although you feel that your experience was spoiled by transport and service issues. We believe that our transport services are very fair and the rates are less than those charged by comparable villas. The free shuttle service does have... More

The teak house is wonderful and the staff very friendly and helpful. What an incredible view from the infinity pool into the jungle. If you like quiet and nature we highly recommend this house. There is a shuttle several times a day to Ubud.

AwangAwang is a gorgeous place to visit and stay. Its very quiet and shows the "real Bali" and is very close to nature and the cultural centre of ubud and Bali. The staff were so friendly, they are very helpful and feel more like a family than staff. The food here is delicious and fresh and very impressive for a... More

We really enjoyed Villa Awang Awang. The views are amazing! There is a path where you can walk down to the river where there are waterfalls! It's only a 10 minute drive from the centre of Ubud but you feel like you are in the middle of the jungle! We even saw monkeys!! The staff were very friendly. There was... More

This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed and I have travelled a lot, a little out of the centre of Ubud so the nature is spectacular, macaques, kingfishers, butterflies, fireflies and an incredible view overlooking the jungle from the infinity pool. The teak house is wonderful and the staff could not be more helpful. If... More

You know that feeling when you walk down carved stone steps and feel the urge to jump up and down with excitement when your bed for the night comes into view, that’s exactly what happens when you approach Villa Perepan. A light, airy bamboo cone-shaped hut with its own infinity tub, both hanging off the valley looking out over the... More

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights in early January. When you book a hotel which has such tremendous reviews, there is always some level of skepticism about what you will eventually find when you reach the hotel. I am very pleased to say that everything written about this hotel is true. We initially stayed in... More

My girlfriend and I stayed in the Villa Luwih. This is the perfect place for a couple! The old teak house was beautiful and the half outdoor bathroom with the amazing views of the valley from the shower/bath just can't be beat. It was such a perfect and peaceful for getaway. The location is also amazing. It is not rig... More

If you have ever wondered what it's like to experience a Swiss family Robinson adventure, then this is the place you belong. It is unlike anywhere I've ever stayed and I enjoyed every minute. If you are looking for sterile or the idea of a gecko in your room frightens you, you may not enjoy it. My boyfriend prefers more... More

Me, my boyfriend and her sister stayed in Villa Awang Awang for two nights and enjoyed every moment. The villa was located almost in the middle of the jungle but still a 10minute drive from Ubud. We had two bedrooms with own bathrooms and a balcony upstairs, kitchen and "living room" downstairs and an own pool of course. So there... More
