excellent place to stay in the center of bali brand new (opened 2010) , very quite and safe place near the ricefields and on walking distance of the center of Ubud. price is relatively high but it's worth the money, especially because of the "full option"- strategy of the owner f.e. included in the price : free shuttle bus for...

My wife and I enjoyed a 2 night stay in August 2011. The villa complex, 6 in all is a short distance east of Ubud, situated on a ridge overlooking rice paddies. The rooms are large with pleasant siting areas all with lovely views. It is very quite and the staff are very nice, speak good English and are attentive...

Villa Sabandari is an exceptional boutique hotel. It is situated in a beautiful, peaceful environment, close enough to Ubud for easy shopping excursions but at night the only sound you will hear is the crickets and insects in the rice fields. The staff are exceptional, the food is marvellous, the decor, gardens, pool it was all magnificent. It is hard...

Fantastic place in a beautiful setting. The owner, a Belgian, has built a wonderful 6-room villa where every detail has been meticulously thought of, from the infinity pool overlooking some rice paddies to the wonderful outdoor showers. There are better views to be had in Ubud, as you get flat paddies rather than the steep terraces for which the area...

WOW! We stayed 8 nights at Villa Sabandari, and from the moment we stepped inside the entire outside world seemed to melt away into oblivion.....this place is like heaven on earth! Villa Sabandari is set among lush rice fields in the middle of Ubud. Ubud's Main Road and Monkey Forest Road are within an easy walking distance, but the Villa...

We arrived to our little slice of paradise after a very long drive from Amed - make sure you have directions or the phone number as our driver got very lost finding it! Once we were here though we were blown away by the beauty of it. Admittedly the Villa is a little way away from the centre of Ubud...

Beautiful villa . It does not have the unpersonal feeling of a large hotel , it is comfortable, nice views, great amenities, great staff. It only has 6 rooms and all around the pool and the general areas have a view , there is a living room , and a dininng room (one large table) . These general areas are...

I recently stayed in Villa Sabandari and absolutely loved it. The room was large with tasteful decor. Spotlessly clean. My room was upstairs with a big deck overlooking the lovely pool, the lush gardens and rice paddies beyond. Very good food. Great spa treatments. Although only minutes from downtown, the free anytime shuttle to and from Ubud was great. Management...

Everything about our stay at Villa Sabandari was excellent, starting with the complimentary pick-up car/driver from the airport. . The rooms are elegant, spacious, comfortable and spotless, with wonderful flower arrangements and a welcome bowl of fresh fruits on arrival. Check out the Villas' website photo gallery because when you arrive everything is just as good as it looks on...

To celebrate my birthday we booked 10 days at the Villa Sabandari and were not disappointed. It is a beautiful site, overlooking a rice paddie, a lovely infinity pool, delicious food, wonderful staff and only a few minutes from the busy hectic town of Ubud. We felt we had our own private retreat as there are only 6 villas on...
