Absolutely amazing!

This place is absolutely unique, a piece of paradise so close to the heart of Ubud. Surroundings, comfort, good food (delicious breakfasts!), spa area (I recommend a fantastic massage from Putri) - perfect! But it's the crew that makes this place truly special. they are friendly, open and at the same time professional, attentive and helpful. Thank you Marsa for showing me interesting places in Bali, but also sharing stories about the culture and traditions of this extraordinary island and the opportunity to experience it literally by taking part in ceremonies and family celebrations. Thank you Dayu for our interesting conversations, Thank you Mozie, Denny, Ayu, Komang, Indria and everyone else. Thanks to you, I felt at home in Amori. I will definitely come back here. I recommend it to anyone who wants comfort, relaxation, individual approach and at the same time real contact with the Balinese soul.…

Ubud's Hidden Gem

I loved my time at Amori Villas, it's a truly magical spot and a hidden gem in Ubud. Tucked away from the town centre, but only around a 10-minute drive, it's the perfect location to explore from. When you enter the restaurant you'll be stuck by the incredible breathtaking views over the valley, the stunning pool and the quietness and charm of the area. The staff are exceptional, really lovely and I felt so safe and at home as I was visiting solo. The food is great and I ordered a lot from the restaurant. I have such wonderful memories of my time at Amori, and I highly recommend staying. I've travelled a lot and stayed in many different hotels etc, and there was something very special about Amori.

Beautiful authentic Bali experience for family

We LOVED our stay at Amori Villas. It was the perfect place for us to stay with our two little children. A small hotel with only ten rooms in a stunning setting with beautiful jungle and river views. Only 15 minutes away from the centre of Ubud yet a different world in a beautiful quiet village. The Amori staff us AMAZING, they went out of their way to keep us happy at all times. The food is delicious, we stayed in many nights to enjoy the wonderful meals made by the friendly chef who invited us to look over her shoulder while cooking. The room is an authentic Balinese villa overlooking the valley, which is spacious enough for a family of four. (you also get visits by sneaky little monkeys which was a highlight for our children). If you are looking for an authentic Balinese experience, away from the big hotels but with all the luxurious of a nice room, delicious food, attentive staff and bratislava compound which is also family friendly, look no further!…

One of the Best

The experience of travelling to Bali for a Mindfulness and Meditation retreat at Amori Villas in Ubud was sensational. The beauty of the area, the hospitality and care shown by the staff was very special. Food preparation was done to a high standard, rooms very clean and layout of bungalows supported freedom of space. The pool was sensational and the dancing at the end was very special. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Once in a lifetime adventure… by Maureen

My daughter and I recently attended a yoga retreat hosted by a dear friend at Amori Villas! It was our first trip to Bali and from the moment we arrived, the lovely staff showered us with kindness and attended to every need. The food was the perfect blend of Balinese cooking with some western comfort food. We indulged in self-care spa services, yoga, pool time, and our Valley View room was beautiful. The half outdoor bathroom was inviting, but may not be for everyone. Staying at Amori is a very immersive experience as you are a part of the village life just outside Ubud. As caretakers and drivers, Marsa and Murgr shared their beautiful culture with us through a village walk, a primary school visit, unique medicine healer experiences, as well as trips to popular tourist destinations and shopping trips to Ubud. This is the adventure trip of a lifetime! We would love to go back one day as the staff feels like family! …

One of those places that will forever touch your spirit and soul!

I recently returned from leading a yoga retreat at Amori. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful space. The staff was friendly and caring. The food was delicious and nourishing. The yoga shala breathtaking. Everything about Amori was special. The only thing I would mention is that rooms 6 & 7 are a bit more rustic which can be wonderful for some and not great for others. Either way, Amori is a place to visit. A special shout out to Marsa, Moni, Dyau, Deny, Guday and Iyu and all those who helped to make our group feel loved and cared for during our time. It's one of those places that will forever touch your spirit and soul.

Super chilled and friendly

The staff are amazing. So friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Amori Villas is a special place. The most amazing yoga shala for practice and meditation. The delicious homecooked food was a treat. If you are looking for a super chilled location with a stunning pool....this is the place. I will be going back.

Amazing Amori

I attended a yoga/mindfulness retreat at the Amori Villas, this was my first time to Bali and to a longer retreat and both far exceeded my expectations. The setting of the villa was just superb amongst the tropical landscape it was so serene and beautiful to have our morning cuppa on the balcony of our villa. The yoga Shala was jsut stunning. Food was good and varied, loved having fresh fruit in our room each day. The staff were an absolute delight and could not have been more welcoming and attentive. It was a great place to enjoy a retreat and reset mind and body (massages were so amazing, highly recommend indulging in as many as you can! ). Be prepared for lots of steps from the Shala to the pool/reception area but they are all worth it. Make sure you try an Amori Sensation ...yum!!!!…

Love Amori

We stayed at Amori Villas for a yoga retreat. It’s far enough away from the centre of Ubud to be quiet and restful while close enough for easy trips if desired. Beautiful secluded rooms with everything you need; wonderful dining area with staff happy to meet your every need. Fabulous pool and yoga space and an amazing spa with attentive staff. It was a totally indulgent experience.

Feel rested and relaxed ....the most wonderful setting with nothing left to wish for

Not knowing what to expect as I returned to Bali after 40 years. A women's only yoga and mindfulness retreat. Sounds wonderful!!!!. Well it was greater than all of my expectations. Amori welcomed us and left nothing to be desired. The setting ideal, tranquil, tropical with all the facilities you would wish for. When not spending time in the yoga shala, I spent time in the huge infinity pool or in the spa therapy suite having a wonderful massage. The staff could not do enough to make our stay magic, the food home cooked, each meal time was phenomenal, food fresh and delivering all of the flavours of Bali from breakfast to dinner. The staff where able to meet all dietary requirements and went above and beyond to make sure we where all fed well. Even able to turn their hands to some pretty amazing cocktails too. Our sheets turned back and fresh fruit left in our rooms every afternoon. Would I go back again? Would I recommend a stay at Amori ? yes on both accounts I would be back tomorrow if I could. Thank you for sharing your wonderful resort...…
