It was an excellent time for us. Upon arrival, there is a welcome drink of lemon and mint and cold towels. I thought the check in was really fast. They also did not ask for any deposit. One girl brought us into the room and describe everything since it is our first visit. I can say that the area is really clean. The room is huge. The bathroom alone has a separate bath tub that faces a window, a shower with cobblestones, a nice rock basin and the toilet is with a bidet and separated by the door. They have these cute native slippers. The bed is also adorned with a white cloth that serves as a mosquito net. It also gives a romantic feel. I also like the fact that they have big toiletries and they are not made of plastic. Environment friendly. They have a nice infinity pool and we are surrounded with trees. There were only a few sun beds by the pool. But we always have a spot. The food was also good and fairly priced. And last but not the least, the staff are very courteous and very prompt. Service for food is really fast. Everyone does smile and has a nice vibe. We also met I wayan Budiarta who is the general manager at breakfast and he introduced himself. Also I would like to commend Claresta for taking care of all our needs. She sent me a watsapp message before arrival to check if we need something. There were some upgrades that they offer and we availed the Celebration of Flowers. Our bath tub was full of those flowers. Though we had a short notice, Claresta made it happen for us. Overall, I am very happy and my husband would agree.

Myself and my girlfriend Lilly stayed here for 3 nights and what can I say, its even more beautiful in person than the pictures.
The Udaya cannot be anymore perfect!
As we arrived to very friendly and welcoming staff that cannot do enough for you, they are attentive and will be able to help out in anyway they can.
We were taken back when we walked in the room as it is something we could only dream about, it has everything you need for your stay and the picturesque views from our doors looking our onto the small stream with Koi in were something we had not expected.
Initially we had thought we booked a hotel a little far from Ubud centre but the free Shuttle bus service the hotel offers every hour from 7am to 9pm is very handy.
The hotel is tranquil and peaceful, everything you would want from a spa resort.
We decided on our second night to have a couples treatment at the spa and we were very impressed.
Starting off with a foot scrub then a 40 minute relax in a flower bath. The massage was fantastic, relieving all aches and strains and then the facial was so relaxing it sent me to sleep for majority of the treatment. We went back to our rooms feeling amazing and quickly fell asleep.
On our final night we decided to have their private dining experience and there are no words to how beautiful it was (see attached photo). The service was second to none and the choices of their set menus has something for everyone.
A 6 course dining menu coming with a choice of wine was enough to satisfy up thoroughly.
The food at the hotel is some of the best we have had in Bali and again has options for any taste.
I can not recommend this hotel enough and when we come back to Bali and Ubud there is only one place we will ever stay now.
If you have any reservations about this hotel I advise you to remove them and stay, you will not be disappointed.

If you are a couple or on your honeymoon I strongly recommended considering this resort and booking the honeymoon package. We only had one beautiful night here, but REALLY enjoyed it. There weren't many tourists because of the coronavirus, so the very nice manager actually upgraded us to one of the infinity pool villas, which was AMAZING! We had our own infinity pool overlooking the jungle in a private two story villa.
We didn't get a chance to sample the normal breakfast service as we did a private floating breakfast in our own pool which was really nice! The food was fantastic and the cost was quite reasonable! We ordered pretty much everything on the menu, including several juices/coffees, and the total for 2 was ~$40, I believe.
We also had drinks at the hotel bar, which has a really nice view looking over the resort pool into the sunset. (One of their yoga rooms also has an amazing view into the sunset too, which they sometimes use for romantic single-couple dinners).
The hospitality of this resort was OFF THE CHARTS! Everyone was sooo nice and kind. Coming back to the resort felt like coming home.
I think many people just go to this resort for the spa services, but you should stay here too! It's a really special place.

I was here for 3 nights and everything about my stay was absolutely perfect. The location was not far from the city centre and they had a free shuttle that ran every hour to and from the city centre. (This made everything extremely easy). The entire staff was inherently sweet (like most people of Bali). The actual venue itself looks like a picture in a magazine. The pool area is fantastic and the rooms are extremely beautiful, from the outside balcony to the rock made showers and bath tub. The continental breakfast is extremely yummy and diverse in choice. They offer complimentary afternoon tea as well as many offer fun activities. I can't wait to stay here again.

My husband and I stayed at The Udaya Ubud for 5 nights for our honeymoon and we enjoyed every moment we were there. We booked the private pool villa suite and it was absolutely stunning! The room was the best we've ever stayed in. The private pool was a treat and we loved chilling on the sunbeds in our own private space. The staff were amazing too. They would ask us if we needed anything more everytime and we felt so privileged to be treated so well. We could not fault anything at The Udaya. We had the floating breakfast in our pool and celebration of flowers which is a once in a lifetime experience. The celebration of flowers was done to perfection, the artist is truly talented! We also enjoyed all the cocktails and room service. The shuttle to ubud was very handy too, we took that every night to enjoy some nightlife in Ubud town. UDAYA WE MISS YOU SO MUCH! We will be back!

The customer service at this place is SO GOOD. Practically every single staff person was polite and friendly. The rooms are decorated wonderfully with what I believe may be some traditional Balinese designs. They are also very clean and the turn down service is such a nice touch! For breakfast (which was included), there is a nice selection to choose from with multiple possible courses. With the room purchase, you are able to choose a complimentary lunch, dinner or celebrations of flowers. The complimentary yoga class was amazing. Something to note: the location is a little bit out from the center of Ubud, just an FYI. Take advantage of the complimentary shuttle though that will drop off and pick up in the city center.

I really enjoyed my stay at Udaya. The entire staff was so kind and accommodating, one of the employees Dewa Satria was very attentive and always checking on me to see if I needed anything. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I had a garden suite which was really nice and the view was so calming. The food, spa and pool area were all top notch and I can't wait to come back. The location is about 7-10 minutes from downtown ubud but I actually preferred that and the hotel provides a free shuttle into and from town which is very convenient. Worth the cost.

Udaya Resorts exceeded our expectations with the stunning and lush surrounding jungle, relaxing fountains and pool, delicious restaurant, clean and beautifully designed Balinese rooms and phenomenal service! The service we received at Udaya was even better than service we received at a luxury brand resort.The location is perfect - far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud centre so you can fully unwind and relax, but only a 10 minute drive away. Complimentary shuttle every hour to and from Ubud centre was very convenient.

We stayed at the Udaya for part our honeymoon and it did not disappoint! The pool suite was amazing! If going as a couple, I definitely recommend the honeymoon package as the candle light dinner was one of the highlights of our Bali trip. The staff were very friendly and helpful with anything we needed. The breakfasts were delicious and drinks tasty. The bed was comfortable and amenities more than sufficient. The Udaya is located relatively close to downtown Ubud, where there are tons of local shops and eatery. We also visited the infamous Monkey Forest. For our 2nd half of the trip, we stayed at a more Americanized 5 star resort on the beach, and were extremely disappointed after having stayed at the Udaya. If we ever go back to Bali, we would definitely consider staying at the Udaya again.
