Villa Costa Plenty is a small 4 luxury suite property just 10 minutes easy and level walk to the beach in Sanur. The pool is an amazing resort style 40 metres long and is 2 metres deep. Full American breakfast is supplied with home made muesli and fresh fruits. There is an adult entertainment area with bar access and a billiard table for many friendly competition games. The property is not suitable for children under 5 years and not suitable for non-swimmers. Nothing prepares you for Villa Costa Plenty, as with many locations in Bali you find yourself navigating back roads and often tracks arriving at your location where you hope your expectations are exceeded. The Villa Costa Plenty is just one of those places you'll want to visit time and time again. With huge imposing solid doors that immediately tell you this is something special. And behind those doors.. an oasis of calm and relaxation that exceeds at every level. Very romanesque, with huge spaces around the pool that's filtered and warm and hard to believe but drinkable. Our room was home from home with wonderful traditional Balinese furniture, a huge and comfortable bed, coffee, tea facilities using pods and bags all included in the price.
Our Hosts Sharon and Terry were a delight, nothing was a problem. Knowledgeable about the area and always ready to help. The staff are equally amazing, making your inclusive breakfast in a huge kitchen that was available to its guests should they choose to use its facilities, in short we had an amazing time. Would we be going back, without hesitation. Our planning started the moment we got back.

After a 3 week long round trip on Bali we arrived at Villa Costa Plenty. The owners Sharyn & Terry welcomed us into their home and provided first-class service, both in terms of location and service. The hotel is absolutely stunning and even has a copper pool meaning no chlorine when you swim. Service was top notch and both Terry and Sharyn went the extra mile to make sure we had a pleasant stay.
We would recommend this hotel to any of our friends. 10/10

My husband and I spent 8 fabulous nights at Villa Costa Plenty and seriously regretted not booking for longer. This is a truly stunning property and is a credit to hosts Sharyn and Terry. Our Villa was beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is massive with a large double vanity and a rain shower. The tap water is drinkable and there is also a water cooler, pod coffee, tea, and best of all a jar of Sharyn’s homemade cookies ! The Staff are lovely and always happy to do what they can for you. Breakfast includes fresh fruit, yoghurt, homemade muesli, the best banana pancakes, and a hot selection cooked to order by the lovely Dewi and Yuri. You will find yourself relaxing over breakfast chatting to other guests while admiring the lovely shaded garden or feeding the fish and turtles in the pond. The pool is a delight, crystal clear and inviting. There is plenty of space for privacy and relaxing, reading a book, dozing in the shade or watching the pretty red fireflies dancing on the flowers. Villa Costa Plenty isn’t just somewhere nice to stay, it’s an experience. Thank you Sharyn, Terry, Buster and Bonnie for welcoming us into your beautiful home, you’ll never get rid of us now !!! My husband and I stayed for 5 weeks and loved it. Our accommodations couldn’t have been better and we were fortunate to meet some wonderful people here. We swapped lots of travel stories, wallowed in the pool as much as we wanted, had a fantastic driver arranged thru Sharyn for our day trips snorkeling, seeing various temples, ceremonies, waterfalls and the water palace. The staff here is top notch. The Villa is impeccably clean and they are great breakfast cooks. We enjoyed having a cappuccino or latte daily too. Fresh baked cookies are available at all times, including some gluten free ones specially made for me! Bluebird Taxi is the most reliable for evening trips into Sanur, otherwise we walked to the beach area (10 min) for supper or the ATM. Visit Sharyn’s blog to find out what’s what. This lady has her finger on the pulse of things to do in Bali and if she doesn’t have the answer to a question, she’ll “know someone who knows someone.” We stayed in both The Raja Suite and The Loft while we were there. We received a very warm welcome from Sharyn & Terry, the owners from the moment we arrived. The rooms are huge and very well appointed and laid out with top furnishings and a large spacious bathroom. It was so good to be able to use the water direct from the tap (as they have their own water supplied from a Well) and having a water cooler and boiling hot water tap was such a nice and convenient touch. The pool is a delight, very clean and great for relaxing in on a hot afternoon! The breakfast was awesome; Sharyn's homemade granola was some of the best I have tried and the hot food cooked to order was delicious. It was also great to be able to have a beer or bottle of wine as they have a board for you to write up what you've had and then settle up at the end of your stay. Sharyn & Terry will go the extra mile to make sure you have a wonderful holiday, with recommendations on anything you are looking for and they even drove us to a local art gallery they use as we so wanted some artwork to take back home (thanks again - we will get photos over to you once framed!). We stayed 4 nights over Christmas and had a fabulous time as it's in such a quiet location but only a few minutes walk to the beach, shops and some great restaurants (just got to get across the busy main road). Would certainly recommend you don't miss out on a stay here!

Sharyn & Terry (and of course Buster and Bonnie) were the most amazing hosts, and truly have created a hidden paradise. Originally from Australia, they have made Sanur their home, and we are so lucky that they invite others to share the beauty of Bali with them.
When we first arrived after driving down a couple of side streets to get to the Villa, it was a little concerning as we weren't too sure about the location and not being right in the heart of everything, but then we pulled up to this beautiful grassed area and ornate doors and stepped inside to a perfect haven.
We felt so welcomed, and we never wanted for anything during our stay, especially with the jar of homemade cookies, the complimentary juices in the fridge each day and the coffee pod machine in our room. The rooms are beautiful and the air-conditioning is amazing, the bathroom facilities are clean and not only did they have drinkable water from all the taps, but they also had a water cooler/boiled water unit in the room. The wifi works really well, not that we needed to use it much.
The copper pool (not chlorinated) was very relaxing, and they have shaded lounges as well as pool noodles and mats to use. We HIGHLY recommend getting a massage from the in-house masseuse. She was divine!!
The breakfast was just right and had a great selection of fruits, yoghurts, homemade muesli, the usual bacon & eggs type of selection, and as an extra bonus they also had homemade arancini balls. They have a kitchen with a drinks fridge (cheap) which has soft drinks, beer, water etc. and a fancy coffee machine. You can either help yourself or one of the lovely staff will be more than happy to help you.
The villa is only a 5-minute walk from the main road and shops and there are many great restaurants to try, whether you're after local cuisine (Warung Saro is amazing), Thai (Thailicious is great) or a Balinese/western fusion. You should definitely try Kayo Manis, the surf & turf was absolute perfection. (Thank you Sharyn and Terry for these 3 restaurant suggestions)
FYI the villa is probably not for children (on account of the pool depth and the surrounding fish pond) but I really liked that no kids were running around yelling and screaming, which is perfectly normal for kids, just not the type of holiday we wanted. It was the first holiday we had taken without our daughter and everything was peaceful and serene at Villa Costa Plenty.

This was my second time staying here. Like the first time, I again had a very enjoyable and relaxing time. The four different rooms are clean and spacious. The pool and common area are well maintained. The owners/hosts and their small staff are very friendly and attentive. Breakfast is included and it is quite delicious and satisfying. The location is about a 15 minute walk to the main business area and beach. The next time I happen to be in Bali, I will likely stay here again if they have availability.

Tranquility transcends the moment we entered the villa with its big pool and lush, well manicured garden. Friendly couple, Sharyn and Terry and their staff have done tremendously good job in keeping the place up.
All the rooms are spacious with high ceilings. We're lucky we could stay in two different rooms throughout our stay; the princess and the loft. Each room has its own theme. The princess room is more romantic with four posters and a day bed, while the loft room has a very large bed and a big desk.
A substantial cooked breakfast meal includes bacon, sausages, eggs, baked beans and toast.
The pool is also nice; the water is soft to your skin, no harmful chemicals used. It's so refreshing, especially after a long day outside.
If you don't need to stay "by the beach", the location is perfect as your base in Sanur. The beach, as well as restaurants and cafes are within walking distance.
We will certainly come back again to this place.

If you want a place to relax and escape, this is it. The rooms are spacious and well maintained and equipped, there’s a small gym where you can workout, the pool is amazing and the communal breakfast table makes it a very special place to meet others and swap stories. Sharyn and Terry are great hosts and well, the pool is just amazing. I especially enjoyed taking a few evening dips to reflect the day away. Bonus, you can drink the water from the tap and there’s a water cooler with hot water for tea in each room. And if you’re lucky, you may get some home baked cookies!!

STUNNING 💕 You enter into the bed and breakfast and you are home. Sharyn and Terry were exceptional hosts. All rooms are around the courtyard with a copper ionized pool that is so fresh. No chemicals or salt water. You will have you own patio area or interact by the pool, pool table or breakfast table. Made such wonderful friends here. Kitchen bar is on an honor system. Lovely big high ceiling rooms, dual sink vanities and excellent Wifi. Walking distance to many eating spots and beach. Big fresh breakfasts. A definite must.

Hi Paul,
As you can see from Lisa's answer, we have the drinks situation covered and there is fridge space if you wish to buy your own alcohol. We have plenty of ice and all our taps are filtered with drinking water as well as a large water dispenser in each suite.
We have a coffee machine in every room and a large cafe quality coffee machine in the kitchen..
There are lots of local convenience stores and many quality restaurants 5 mins walk away.
