It is a great place to stay specially travelling with young children. They do have a nice kitchentt to cook with utensils.

The staff is efficient and they have quick service plus shuttle service around sanur. Also to our surprise they did serve us cocktail and mocktail with canapies.

I liked the room and swimming pool which was big and clean.

I certainly will stay here if i come back.

They also have a tie up with few beach clubs where one can go and enjoy beach with sunbeds.

I don't think our holiday would be as great as it is now, without a stay at Ellora Villas. The staff is more than friendly, from the reception to the guys who bring and make breakfast every morning. The villa will be cleaned everyday upon request. Maybe the breakfast menu could be a bit more diverse, but we ate really good every morning. From local dishes (nasi goreng, soto ayam) to eggs different ways, fruit, toast, croissants, juice, coffee and tea, everything you need is there. The villa itself was great as well. Maybe need some touch ups inside, but it didn't take away the luxurious feeling. The swimming pool was refreshing and clean. We made small talk with the crew and they were really interested in the guests. The villas are located near the beach and road, so everything is nearby. But due to the fact that it's at the back of a (pretty and lit up) alley, you don't hear traffic. When in Sanur, book at Ellora Villas!

We regularly stay in Sanur & Seminyak but this time decided to stay in Sanur for the 2 week stay. We booked a 1 b/r pool villa at Ellora, our first time.
The complex is well situated, walking distance from the main drag and very close to many cafes, restaurants, warungs and spa salons. The complex is of reasonable size, well laid out and extremely private.
The actual villa we stayed in was very spacious with entrance, bedroom, dressing area and bathroom. Outside is an undercover dining/lounging/kitchen area and of course a decent size pool. There is a fridge, bottled water and a self contained meals area should you wish to prepare some of your own food and/or have breakfast cooked for you.
The staff are typically beautiful...friendly & accommodating where nothing is too much trouble. It was a great stay and we will happily return. If there was 1 negative it was that the bed, whilst comfortable to sleep in, seemed to cause us lower back pain every morning...perhaps this was just a change from our usual bed at home.
Overall we really enjoyed staying at Ellora Villas, would recommend it to any couple and we will be return visitors!

The pool was a highlight along with the outdoor kitchen/sitting area and toilet with great overhead fans. The indoor accommodation needs a bit of refreshing. The bed was quite high to get on and off and we’re not short people. The pillows need replacing - old, lumpy and mouldy. The shower was great but the inside toilet was old and looked grimy even though the cleaning was done each day. The lighting was poor and furnishings dark and dated.
The inclusive breakfast served by the pool lacked choice and was fairly plain. The location down a long alleyway made it less convenient but reception will call a taxi if needed. It is still quite close to the beach. The staff were very helpful. However, for value at this price point, the accommodation needs some attention.

Very private and the Staff are lovely and not intrusive and will do anything they can.
For example, when we had a coupes massage that they organised, I (husband) asked for a bunch of flowers to be delivered and they were able to arrange it no issues, straight after the message as arranged. I had a very happy wife!! What more can you ask for. lol. They were also able to arrange for laundry at $2kg. Even more happy wife!
Breakfast was fantastic, they cooked it in front of you with enough choices to suit us. Western style was available as well as local which i found delicious.
They also provide a large (12L) water bottle which is a must in Bali.
As a bloke the only thing i could find a minor issue was the lack of TV station choices.

Great villa, tucked away down a little side lane off the main road in Sanur.
It came complete with breakfast created by the staff in our villa daily and it’s own pool.
Staff are great and so welcoming, we had a small earthquake one afternoon that lasted about 20 secs.
You can access the beach through its sister accomodation just a short walk down the road.
Great spot, very relaxing, with a short stroll to the many bars and restaurants and circle k in the area.
We would highly recommend.

Words can't describe how peaceful these villas are. The villas are tucked away down a back street and once inside your villa all your troubles will disappear.
You get your breakfast cooked every morning in your villa at a time of your choice plus evening cocktails and canapes in the evening in your villa.
In all the years i have been travelling i have never felt so relaxed in a place as i did here, i was quite content to just lay around the villa on the sunbeds and cooling off in the pool when needed.
Don't hesitate to book Ellora Villas you won't be disappointed.

Excellent set of Villas, just off the main Sanur strip which was great as there was no road noise that we could hear. The Villas were extremely private with nice high walls and not other buildings being able to see in. The quality of the villas was great, they are well cared for, with all the extra's you would expect, down to intl travel adapters in the drawers. Some questions I had before staying that might be helpful for others:
- Yes the pools are awesome.
- The shower heads are the rain fall ones
- Bed is definitely bigger than a queen at least the one we stay in Villa C
- There is a fully furnished kitchen if you want to do you own cooking, we ended up eating out every night.
- Mosquito's were minimal during April, we had no problems and I'm normally eaten alive, we bought a can on fly spray from hardies and would spray down bedroom area just in case.
- Yes there are moped rental locations near by, one is located about 5 shops from the main entrance.
- Many good places to eat near by, little bird, mona lisa, Art, Glass house etc.
- Very short walk to the beach
- Wifi wasn't very good, we had many dead spots in the room, but hey you are on vacation, just enjoy.

Just returned home from a week stay at Ellora Villas. We booked our trip to celebrate 30th anniversary and could not have been happier. We stayed in villa C which is a one bedroom but huge. Biggest bathroom I've ever stayed in, separate shower room and wc room and a big deep marble bath tub, large double vanity. Outside shower and loo as well which is a bonus. The highlight was the pool right outside the sliding bedroom doors, wake up and jump in, a great way to start the day!!!
Good size indoor lounge room, and bedroom area again was huge. Bed comfy, air-con worked very well plus ceiling fan.
Breakfast cooked in the villa outdoor kitchen was beautiful. good choice and you choose the time.
Staff were always friendly and efficient, but didn't hang around any longer than necessary.
Complementary cocktails and canapes in the afternoon were very high standard, not just a bowl of peanuts!!
They gave us mosquito coils for outside and baygon to spray the room at night but we kept the Aerogard handy for extra protection being the wet season.
Warung Little Bird down the road is good value and tasty food. If you are after a special night would highly recomend Char Ming, a bit far to walk but easy taxi ride. Indonesian/French fare, best service ive had for a long time, beautiful inside and food was outstanding. They even give you a little chair for your handbag next to the table. Best coffee we found was at Luhtu's on the beach not far from Sindhu beach market. Plenty of shade there as well under the trees.
Clean, beautifully furnished, good location and very private, would definitely stay here again.

First of all, my significant other and I have been doing an extensive amount of research before we embarked onto Bali. Away from the hustle and bustle of Bali, Sanur itself is considered as the quiet part of Bali, exactly what we were looking for. Tucked away at a small alley, Ellora Villa offers you both tranquility and absolute privacy. Let’s share a few perk that they do offer during our stay at the villa, free shuttle is available upon demand, and bicycles are offered to the guests who like to paddle their ways off to the respective destinations! But mind you, the seats of all the bicycles are quite high and it could be rather difficult for petite people like mu significant other to ride on, and plus the traffic condition isn’t the most optimal for bikers, considering the cars would park alongside the road whenever and wherever the wish. So, paddle at your own risks. Once you’ve booked with Ellora, you’re automatically entitled to a complementary airport pickup, no hassle at all, our driver was there to pick us up right on time! Welcome drinks were served upon a quick and efficient check in process. During our stay there, we had a few requests here and there and all of the requests were being handled professionally by the wonderful staffs of Ellora. The villa itself is just 5 minutes walk to the beach. You’d have access to the beach through their sister villas as well, for those who are concerned about the availability of convenience stores, there plenty of them around the villa. The villa itself, comes with a private pool, sun chairs, a tiny pond as well as an outdoor shower, tops with excellent staffs who are willing to assist you whenever. Oh, additionally, choose your brekkie and have the staffs come in to your villa and cook it right in front of you! For cocktails lovers, go set yourself up with daily complimentary cocktails, they’ll send it right to your villa. My significant other even got her favorite baileys delivered to her! Well, so, sit back, enjoy, and let the staffs take care of you as you venture into the glory of Ellora Villa!

On a side note, the villa itself could use slight maintenance, for example the main entrance door could really use as facelift to make it easier to the guests to lock it but other than that, it’s perfectly all right! See you all soon when we go to Sanur!

We stayed here in January. The beach is accessible by waking through a hotel on the opposite side of the road. Maybe a 10 minute walk? There is an arrangement to use another resort's sunbeds... Ellora gives you a voucher to show them. Oh.. and Ellora is a great place to stay too.
