Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Perhaps 7 years between visits but it lived up to expectations for the price. Room was very clean. Bathroom was showing signs of wear and needed an upgrade. Shower over the bath is dangerous for older travellers. Curtains throughout are a drab poo brown and showing stains of heaven-knows-what. The included breakfast is disappointing. Only two fresh fruits in a tropical paradise. One was underripe cantaloupe which is unappealing. Same hot dishes day after day. Eggs can be cooked to order but when I requested a waffle I was referred to precooked waffles which I was expected to reheat in the toaster. The juice dispenser (one choice) was frequently empty. The pastries appeared not to have been baked today; perhaps not even this week. The pool area needs umbrellas. It was summer with a burning hot sun. The room attendants do a great job but there is no consistency of time when the room will be serviced. The door is left open and the mosquitos get in and attack at night. It would be great if the room attendants would spray bathroom and bedroom before leaving. There was noise from the room above of furniture being dragged around any time of day or night. With a bit of TLC this accommodation could be brought up to it's previous excellent standard. A bit of imagination in the breakfast buffet would make it more appealing.

This is another little hidden gem in Sanur. Loved the large private courtyard Made the room so much bigger with all the curtains open. Lovely breakfast which changed daily. Staff are so helpful. My only criticism would be trying to climb into the huge bath to have a shower. Too high and dangerous for the elderly.

Don't be fooled by the hotel's photos This place is discusting. Look at the photos I took this villa should be demolished. We also complained about the rat droppings On the bed. How these people can allow guests to be misled is shameful. In my opinion these premises is a health hazard.

I usually travel on a budget, and choose to spend my money wisely. The hotel isn't quite as good as the photos! But it isn't as bad as some of the negative reviews from 2016... We're here in February of 2020. The staff is attentive. The included breakfast is tasty and well portioned. I had three star expectations and they meet or exceed my expectations. I'm here for the scuba diving and not for the spas and pampering. I can come back here for the 24 USD/night I paid via Orbitz. My daughter and wife want me to add these two notes: It is quiet (my 39 year old daughter). And it is safe behind a 24 hour manned security gate (my wife).

Would I stay here again - Probably not. There are some really good things about this hotel, and some bad. The breakfast was good , as well as coffee, and the staff were really good considering all the people like me asking stupid questions. We turned up at 1:00 pm off a ferry, and was told check in was not until 2:00 pm. Given that November is a quiet month, I found this very strange. When I next went down to let them know there were no hand towels I was informed that it was a rule, only 2 towels per room ! The room was actually OK, but what let it down was the bathroom. No plug in the basin, corroded / scaly shower head, slow draining water, and I did not want to go anywhere near the soap dispenser.

We stayed 3 nights after late arrival into DPS. Hotel arranged pick up for $20 and this was very convenient. Room was very comfortable. Being upstairs we had a secluded balcony. Wifi is in different areas and OK once you work out which one suits your location (not always the obvious one!). There is a beach access pass to allow you to walk through another hotel grounds. We didnt know it didnt include their private beach but fortune favours the brave! Breakfast at the hotel included different choices each day and these were OK. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Just aceoss road is Rib restaurant but see my separate review. The only critique I offered on check out was that bathrooms needed a minor refresh but otherwise perfect.

Nice hotel. Had a nice room with good working sanitary facilities and a bathtub. The rooms are fine and the location as well. The swimming pool however is really small. For breakfast you have a couple of option whick you have to choose the evening before. The portions are good but it's not really tasty.
