On arrival I was first shown a standard room which I wasn't very impressed with, but then I was shown a Superior Room which for an extra USD20 was excellent value! Very bright and airy, with heaps of room for solo travellers (or a couple), room 203 opens straight onto a beautiful swimming pool. There is definitely an old and... More

Consisting of a group of 2 story bungalows in a very lush garden. The complex has a new part with new bungalows under construction which look way more luxurious than the other buildings. There are 3 small pools in the complex and a central breakfast hall. The breakfast consists of coffe, tea, juice and various fruits. Toast of 2 kinds... More

The breakfast was not as good as I expected and after 3 mornings I could not face the rubbery overcooked eggs and chewy bacon washed down with grey tea. There were 8 staff to pander to a handfull of guests. Room No 32 is best avoided - had aircon that worked well, with other reviews indicating better rooms available. Doors... More

I stayed in these bungalows few times, it's not very new, but they are building some new also. The rooms is big and nice, I liked the style, the bathrooms need some renovation. But unless you are in Bali and everything seems very nice, it doesn't bother. Breakfast is good, but one thing I liked most it's that all bungalows... More

The staff here are just plain fabulous, and the rooms are pretty good for what you pay. Spent a week then came back for 4 days ( just after New Year and it was 100% full). It's basic but very well run. Buffet breakfast is simple but great. The on-site "spa" has the best massages I found in three weeks... More

Great location, very nice surroundings and two lovely swimming pools. (Be aware that although these are called bungalows, it is just a Hotel with lots of rooms. If you are expecting traditional Balinese bungalows you will be disappointed as it's a huge hotel complex.) Staff are helpful and friendly and there is good wi-fi accessible from all over the complex.... More

Very nice hotel with an excellent restaurant!! If you are a guest of Swastica Bungalows you are given a reduction of 10 or 15 % on food in Swastica Restaurant just next to hotel. It is a really good place, food is delicious, amazingly served! They attach a flower to your head immidiately after you arrive (just to make you... More

Yes this hotel is set in the heart of everything but it is tired and ugly for the price. The rooms are faded with horrible old bed linen and ancient air con and fans. Not very good value for money
