We stayed at this hotel for about 2 weeks. It has nice Balinese style garden, friendly staff, walking distance to Sanur beach, easy access to the airport. Old hotel, bathroom needs renovation. Suggest more variations on breakfast menu.
Staff was really helpfull with helping us retrieve our backpacks from the airport. First night we stayed in a smelly cottage but that was soon fixed, we could go to another one. Pools are nice, great price / quality! Would definetely recommend it.
Don't stay here - it's terribly run-down, rooms are in need of upgrades, bathrooms are gross, towels smell like mildew, and drunk tourists in the pool at 5am waking everyone up (for hours) - hotel security did nothing.
May as well pay for a hostel,...More
This hotel needs renovation, the rooms look a bit shabby and were not really clean, at the ceiling we found traces of mold.
The people were friendly and service was nice. Breakfast was allright.

The breakfasts are quite good. They are an Indonesian style mostly with rice, chicken and other offerings, but as always there are eggs and the baby sausages (beef or chicken) that are a staple on Indonesian hotel breakfast menus on offer. The breakfasts are tasty, filling and nutritious. You don't have to eat highly spiced food if you don't wish to as most of the food is mildly spiced and if you require it hotter you can always ask for sambal or extra spice.
Overall the food that comes out of the kitchens at the Puri Dalem hotel is excellent. Please remember that you are in Indonesia, embrace the food, culture and have a fantastic experience. Enjoy, I am sure that you will not be disappointed.
