The beds and pillows are so hard, the WiFi connection is so weak, not even enough to send messages by WhatsApp.
The lights on my rooms wasn't working, just 1 of 4. No light outside. The room was so dark.
In my opinion is not a good place for young people. Was just old people there fighting to get the best sun bed, they have their own spots and if you sit in one they will kick you out saying that the sunbed belong to another couple.
Breakfast didn't offer that much of things. Orange juice, coffee, tea, bread, rice and noodles and few fresh fruit.

Have just returned from my first trip to Bali. I am a lone traveller but the Bumas is a Balinese style family run hotel, the staff were charming - nothing was too much trouble, the rooms are very well kept - lovely gardens and both pools although small were adequate. It is also in a central position and within a few minutes you find the main street with an abundance of good restaurants and shops. I am a lone traveller but never felt alone as the Balinese people convey so much warmth and charm. If you intend to visit Bali and are looking for a small hotel with a family atmosphere please consider staying at the Bumas - I will certainly go back to Bali and will once again enjoy another stay at this charming small hotel. I travelled with Kuoni arriving on 12th August - 27th August
The management and staff are always on hand to assist at any time of day or night.
i really dont understand some of the reviews i have read as the title states you get what you pay for,
ok rooms are basic but are of a great size cleaned every day ,the linen is not truly white but clean, breakfast is basic ( but you can take your own) staff more than happy to cook eggs of any choice you would like.i sat at the breakfast area many mornings and was not rushed quite the opposite i could eat and drink as much as i liked. i would always reccomend a fridge to be placed in your room for the period of your stay. although i did meet 2 english ladies that insisted on taking the sun lounge covers and using 2 instead of 1 this obviously led to a shortage for other users(im english iwas not to pleased about this Shame on them)
ALL IN ALL I WOULD STAY HER AGAIN. FINAL STATEMENT IF YOU ARE GOING TO STAY HERE" EKA "THE MANAGER IS ONE OF THE MOST HELPULL I HAVE EVER COME ACCROSS ON THIS BEAUTIFULL ISLAND. enjoy its well worth it great value basic but a great place to stay and very central.
We used a driver to go out and about. There are lots of taxi drivers in the Main Street who do really good deals. I'd recommend going to the rice fields, Tanah Lot, other temples, the volcano, the coffee plantation. The scenery on the island is wonderful.
One warning, please use an official money changer. We did, however on one occasion we thought we'd try a money exchange in the back of a shop. Luckily we were aware of the scam and we demanded our money back, but the guy tried very hard to confuse us by repeatedly counting the money.
Bali is beautiful and if you book The Bumas Hotel I'm sure you'll be very happy. If you like 4 or 5 star accommodation then maybe The Bumas isn't for you, but if you do like small, friendly, comfortable hotels in a great location then go for this one!
"A wifi tip-you could pay 1$ every day for it,or just buy it once and use the same every day ;)"Read full review
