This small-scale hotel was built with great care about 30 years ago by a Belgian couple. It has 19 spacious rooms located around the beautiful swimming pool. We stayed in a suite on the ground floor. This was very spacious, with a huge bed, some furniture and a bathroom with shower, bath and toilet. There is a small refrigerator in the room that you can fill yourself, more than enough cupboard space and a safe. There is a small terrace overlooking the pool. Sun loungers and parasols on both short sides of the pool. Everything was kept very clean every day. Very friendly employees, for whom nothing is too much. The manager is the daughter of the couple who set up the hotel. Unfortunately, the gentleman has passed away, but his wife still lives in an apartment in the hotel. She cycles around Sanur every day and if the guest feels like it, he can cycle along. Bicycles are also rented. The hotel is located on a driveway of about 50 meters from a busy main street, but you do not hear the traffic. There is also a restaurant with a limited menu. The breakfast is a bit simple. Unfortunately, a huge complex is being built on that road opposite the hotel with expensive apartments and a shopping center that opens onto Sanur beach at the rear. This will make traffic much busier in the future. There are plenty of good restaurants within a short distance with Indian and European meals. Unfortunately my wife fell ill, but we are indebted to the management and employees for their help and dedication.

My husband and I stayed here in October 2022 and had a wonderful time, so much so we extended our stay twice! The superior ground floor room was very well appointed , close to the pool and reception /dining area. Our room was extremely large with a lounge area as well as a king sized bed, tea and coffee making facilities and a very cold mini fridge. The room has plenty of power points for charging devices and running a CPAP machine overnight. The bathroom has large clean and fluffy towels including a hand towel, plus soap/shampoo/conditioner were all supplied and replenished daily, a hairdryer was also included. A nice outdoor terrace overlooking beautiful gardens and pool was also lovely for afternoon drinks. Breakfast was included in our stay and was a table service set menu of juice, coffee, fruit plate and either continental (bacon, 2 eggs and toast) or indonesian (nasi or mei goreng) all freshly cooked to order, a good start to the day. My husband asked for more toast and this was not a problem, they gladly obliged The staff were beautiful in all aspects of this property, especially Kumala at front of house...made us feel like family, she is a real credit to this hotel. Hotel is set down a short 20m driveway off Tamblingan and is very quiet and peaceful, no traffic noise. Would definately stay again and recommend to friends and family

I visited Bali on my way back to the UK from Sydney. I was very fortunate in choosing the Tamukami hotel because I had the most comfortable stay with my expectations for friendly and helpful staff exceeded. The highly capable staff introduced me to life in Bali and answered any question I had. I was travelling alone, yet did not feel alone as I explored Bali life and culture. The hotel provided me with an authentic Bali experience. The accommodation is centred around a wonderful pool with the surrounding plant life that creates a great place to hang around any time of day or evening. The layout of the hotel provides sheltered outdoor living, apart from the open air pool area. The rooms are spacious with very clean linen and towels, including towels for the loungers. The hotel can arrange a driver and car to visit places of interest further away and for airport transfers. The quality of the service provided was priceless and I would not hesitate in choosing this hotel again. Thank you.

This hotel was beautiful. It was very pretty and quaint. The rooms large and comfortable. The staff were very helpful, always smiling and eager to please. Unfortunately the sole female owner of this hotel made out stay extremely uncomfortable. Our group, most in our 50's were treated like naughty little teenagers for leaving lights on, for having our TV on, for not closing the door to our rooms (when sitting on our patio. If you do decide to stay here ask for a room furthest from the restaurant and hopefully you'll go unnoticed.

It’s a pretty average hotel. My girlfriend and I traveled with a group and got their honeymoon room, which for us was an common room and not extra ordinary. Our group did not think their rooms were good to stay in. Their American breakfast where you have to choose what kind of eggs you want is usually half cooked and half raw (wich we didnt like). Their lunch and dinner are ok. We tried their massage, which wasn't the best experience with poor hygiene and people from the pool can look inside... Their wifi is a bit better than other hotels we've stayed at in Bali, but it's not good. Their location is very good, not far from the beach and in the middle of the city without road noise. Their staff are friendly. We were lucky to get their best room and I think it would have been a different experience if we hadn't.

This was our fourth time staying at this hotel, but first time since before COVID.
Our bungalow suite (206) was just the same as before, very spacious, cool, with good aircon. Extra large bed with clean linen, services everyday if required. The bathroom was clean, but old fittings, which gave us some trouble (see below). Plenty of room to store luggage out of the way. Breakfast was just OK. Choice of American or Indonesian, same same every single day. Costs 95K IDR pp, so not cheap for what was offered (considering a BIG breakfast 400m down Tamblingan St in Rib Steakhouse was about 75k IDR pp). Advice: skip the included breakfast unless you don't mind the repetition. The garden of course is beautiful and well maintained. Staff are helpful and friendly, but unobtrusive.
Our biggest problem was the shower fitting in the separate shower. The tap mixer did not work, and could only get scalding hot water from it. Eventually "fixed" after 24 hours but turned out, it was still impossible to get an even mix of hot/cold to a temperature that was comfortable to wash in. The tapware needs serious upgrading. Overall, this is a very pleasant hotel, located in a great quiet spot but a short walk from everywhere (like ICON Bali, and loads of restaurants along Tamblingan street). Easy access to the beach through ICON Bali too.

The Hotel is a little oasis in Sanur with all rooms overlooking the pool. The Tukamani is situated near the Icon Shopping Mall which is close to the beach , shopping and great restaurants. The hotel is good value for money but is in need of upgrades as facilities are old and looking very tired. The only negative I am compelled to mention is the owner of the property who made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable . She constantly watched quests and told them off for leaving lights on and doors open.

We spent two weeks in this beautiful place. Though the hotel is in the middle of busy Sanur, the place is peaceful and quiet. Our room was spacious and well serviced every day. Staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and even organised some tropical fruits from a local market. The owner of the hotel took us on a bike tour and showed us all the hidden gems in Sanur, which was amazing! We will definitely come back to this oasis!

We visited Sanur for one week with our 10 month old baby. We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff are lovely and were happy to accomodate everything we needed. The pool is beautiful and clean and the sun beds are comfy. The only area for improvement would be the amount of bugs in our room but this was fixed with an electric bug repellent. Bugs are very common in Bali so this wasn’t the hotels fault. The hotel is in a great location and close to many cafes, restaurants and the beach. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to friends and family!

Lovely hotel but initially no atmosphere but after the first night it really grew on us . Great location for the beach and eating places . Hotel was spotless , breakfast was very good . Staff are not intrusive at all but had a few lovely chats at breakfast & they are wonderful the whole place is like family . I would recommend a superior ground floor room , we stayed on the 2nd floor & we did get smell from our bathroom which the staff were quick to deal with but it was awful . I would 💯 recommend this hotel

I'm not sure if they have twin rooms on the ground floor but i'm assuming they would as there is only about 6 upstairs rooms in the whole property...very small boutique establishment of only 25 rooms. We were in a ground floor superior room and there were hand rails in the bathroom/shower and also to access the pool. The staircase also has railing if you are on the second floor. The Resort is completely non smoking.
Best to contact the hotel thru Whatsapp, they are extremely prompt, to ascertain room availability and conform a twin bed arrangement.
You will love it there

Beach is very close, only 5-10 min walk. Very close to restaurants etc. I don't know sindhu market, so that I dont' know. We are not vegan, so also did not pay attention to the breakfast menu, how extensive it was. I can tell that the food at the hotel is very good, we had dinner and breakfast!
Yes they are all large rooms, depends if the 3rd person snores, the bungalows are great and better amenities. Easy to put extra bed in! You should enquire from Agung at reception and she has very good English. A very helpful and lovely girl. Good luck
There are more places to choose from in the Sanur area.
