What a diamond in the rough - this small boutique hotel is the best find in Sanur. Staff / Accommodation / Service / Pool / Food are all excellent. The hotel/grounds are so quite and relaxing. Will be visiting again soon.

Fantastic hidden gem in Sanur, so central to lots of Restaurants, Bars, shopping and beach ⛱️ Lovely traditional Bali decor through out. Staff super friendly and attentive. Great driver for hire right across the road, he is a sunur local and will take you safely where ever you need to go. Breakfast was very tasty 😋 but no room service . Restaurant on site, at night its lovely, try the traditional Bali dinner option, it's well worth the experience 😀. We will definitely be back to this wonderful resort. 😀 Thank you.

This is a real 5-star hotel. First of all, the staff is fantastic, personal, service minded and just lovely. The room is fantastic! Beautiful design! Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. If you could make the water in the pool less warm and increase the only one option on breakfast to at least 2 options, I would be completely satisfied with everything. Thanks, I will return to this hotel for sure!

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. The rooms are nice and clean and we spent a lot of time at the pool, which is very peaceful and serene. The staff is also very kind and helpful. If you are planning a trip to Sanur, I would highly recommend this place.

A very nice facility decorated in Balinese style, which was important to me, a beautiful garden, a nice swimming pool, a nice spa and a nice breakfast restaurant (apart from its location, but more on that in the second section). A very large, spacious room, a beautiful bathroom with access to the greenery (without glass, behind a curtain). The service at the reception, at breakfast and in the SPA was very polite and helpful. Overall, a nice facility with a few "buts", which are partly a personal preference. Very tasty coffee for breakfast. Grocery stores, clothes shops, boutiques and restaurants nearby. Breakfast was served in the restaurant facing the street and although the restaurant itself is very nicely decorated in Balinese style, it is located directly on a quite busy street, which significantly affects the sense of relaxation. Personally, I would prefer that breakfasts were served on the internal patio, where there is now a garden, which hardly anyone uses anyway, so that you could immerse yourself more in the silence and beauty of this place. Breakfasts are a' la carte and almost all dishes contain eggs, which is a bit monotonous, with very few vegetables and you can't add them yourself if you like. Unfortunately, the water in the pool was quite warm, so it was impossible to relax in it in this heat, it would be great if the hotel cooled it down a bit. Unfortunately, the hotel beach is extremely disappointing, poor location, ugly surroundings, literally few beach beds and umbrellas; if you added a fence made of pots with beautiful bushes and flowers, it would significantly improve its reception, we went once and were very disappointed and never came back. Our room with a mini patio on the ground floor was terribly damp, the room upstairs was dry and very pleasant (we were with friends). The hotel is located "close to civilization", which is both its advantage and disadvantage and is certainly a matter of individual preferences.…

Was a pretty nice resort, I have no comments on the cleanliness, close to the beach, nice scenery and the staff make quite the effort to make their guests feel welcome. Some things for travellers: don't get a shuttle to the airport, they charge way too much, when you can get a Grab/Gojek for a quarter of the price and find their massage prices are pretty high considering you can get a massage close by for also a quarter of the price. I really like the bathroom layout how it's open etc. however, prepare for mozzie mayhem at night and morning, they wait for you on the glass door and try to eat you while doing your business. Also would be nice to know the amount of times they enter our rooms, I didn't realise they came twice a day to prepare your room for the night. A heads-up would be appreciated.…

Recently I was charged $850.00 USD for a room I never stayed in. I have attempted to contact the hotel numerous times and to no avail. Direct emails to the hotel manager are ignored and have produced nothing. I never received a confirmation or any documentation on the room they say I booked and now there is no response from anyone. I am trying to dispute with the credit card but am not having any luck as hotel has produced paperwork for them but ignores me.

Regarding your claim of an email sent to our hotel manager, we investigated and found no record of any email received. If you attempted to contact us, given that the hotel has been operational, our team should have responded to your calls or emails. Concerning your booking confirmation, our system indicates that the confirmation was issued on November 12, 2022. We can provide a detailed report if you would like us to share it with you. As a standard practice, our bank follows common rules and may or may not process a chargeback based on the overall transaction scenario. In this case, they deemed it legitimate. I have wanted to stay at Sudamala Sanur for a little while now and it did disappoint. i especially loved the turn down service at night. Each night they would bring a little bedtime story to read which was a lovely touch. the room was lovely and the bed so comfy. Staff lovely and friendly.
