Nestled in a prime spot, the Hyatt Regency Bali receives accolades for its convenient location, close to the beach and local amenities. Guests appreciate the hotel's tranquil atmosphere, which masterfully blends tradition with modernity. While the noise level can be a hit or miss, ranging from soothing natural sounds to occasional disturbances, the amenities, including the lush gardens and various pools, generally receive high marks. The cleanliness of the hotel is widely commended, though some guests have encountered delayed housekeeping. Room experiences vary, with space and maintenance being points of contention. The friendly and professional staff is often praised, yet some guests note the value proposition could be better, considering the prices and occasional service lapses.

My wife and I just spent a week in Bali with 12 friends. It was our first visit to this magical island but not our last.

Everything about the HR is amazing...the food, the service, the grounds. While the whole staff was helpful and friendly, extra love to Jaya in the lounge. He's a gem. They're all gems...he's the gemmiest!

Because of our Globalist status, we received a nice room upgrade. The larger rooms are on the ground floor so our view was of the pretty garden.

We also had access to the lounge. This was unbelievable. A full breakfast buffet with cooked-to-order eggs (amazing eggs benedict) and so many options, we were never bored (or hungry). Each night, the lounge opens from 5-7p with an open bar (limited options but unlimited drinks) and a dinner buffet that changed every 5-6 days. The food was a giant step up from finger food and it was our dinner most nights. The lounge is gorgeous.

If you aren't a Globalist member, you can add this club access for a reasonable fee before you check in. Once you check in, it's more than twice the price.

Our group did the Wednesday night Balinese culture performance and buffet and we were surprised how much we enjoyed it. The food at the HR is fantastic.

Surrounding the hotel is a "boardwalk" lined with the beach and small shops and restaurants. It's a flat walkway and easy to navigate.

The only issue we had was at night (sleeping). The room wouldn't get cooler than 21C. Engineering tried to help but they loaned us a fan in the end. Not enough to chase us off...we're booking 2 weeks at the Hyatt Regency Bali next year.

We had the most wonderful stay for our 46th Wedding anniversary at the Hyatt Sanur. The hotel staff went out of their way to make our stay special with flower arrangements on the bed, fruit baskets and even a deluxe room upgrade on check in. We booked direct through the hotel and our stay was made very special. The rooms are new and beautifully laid out with the biggest king bed we have ever seen, walk in rain shower and bath, verandah and small attached sunroom. The pools are beautiful as is the rest of the hotel and its facilities. For late checkouts they have special shower and change rooms available. The hotel has an ideal location on the best beach in sanur with top local restaurants like La Player and the Nest Spa just a few minutes stroll along the beach.

We have stayed at the hotel several times now since it was refurbished early in 2019. As with all hotels in Bali the service is excellent and the staff are welcoming and friendly.

The hotel is in pristine condition, even the cheapest rooms in the hotel are relatively spacious with separate chill out area with a Bali bed and a small balcony to enjoy an afternoon drink.

We have only eaten in the pool bar / pizza restaurant and the food there was top. The hotel is very conveniently located for local bars and restaurants away from the hustle and bustle of Seminyak.

The team here truly understand and embrace the concept of Hyatt hospitality and provided the exceptional customer service to match.

Upon arrival the concierge will happy and the private check in at the Club was flawless. All staff were swift and eager to assist in making our first time at the Hyatt Regency a lasting first impression.

Our room was spacious, quiet and exceptionally clean. We were given the run down on how everything worked and our luggage had already been delivered. The rooms are traditional and exactly what we like when visiting Bali. The housekeeping never failed with duties and requests. Keeping everything clean, tiidy, and fresh.

A four night stay felt like 2 weeks. The hotel is very spacious and gives you the feel of being in a world of its own. Located on the beach of Sanur it gives you the opportunity to swim in a clean refreshing beach with no hawkers on the front, or like us just stayed and swam at the hotel in the several pools they have inc a jacuzzi. There are plenty of sun beds available at all times even when busy. Our only suggestion is that they need to adopt a flag system to use when guests are wanting beverages or food by the poolside to get the attention of the poolside staff.

We ate and had drinks at the pizzeria and the beach side boardwalk restaurant which were perfect. A cool breeze, comfy lounges, amazing cocktails and no mosquitos! What more could you ask for ...

What made our stay was the Club Benefits we upgraded to ... wow! The manager, Mr Hendy is exceptional. The manner in which he speaks to his guests and the relationship he has with his staff is wonderful. He obviously cares about his team and the way in which he mentors them as they all displayed the same qualities and traits in which he does.

Club Benefits gives you a breakfast away from the main amorning area, light refreshments during the day and an evening of alcoholic beverages and canapés made fresh by the chefs all of high we could not fault. There were several staff on our holiday that need to be mentioned which we would again like to personally thank ... it is to each and everyone of you that we will be back:

Hendy
Juli
Tika
Triana
Wayan

I have no hesitation in recommending the Hyatt Regency to anyone. We will be back this October 2020 and taking our daughters with us aged 9 & 7 as well as our mum.

We stayed for 5D/4N from 26/12 - 30/12 and the hotel is amazing, even though it’s pandemic season but the service quality is maintained at its best. From the security officers, receptionist, bell boy, housekeeping, electrical engineer, Pizzaria restaurant attendants (especially bu Sri, she is soooo helpful, cheerful and genuinely nice towards all guests, I won’t be surprised if she is the hotel best employee), beach attendants and others. All staff wears facial masks (even though some of the guest are ignorant) and hand sanitizers are everywhere.

The room is newly renovated and everything is perfect, especially the 55 inch LED TV. We booked for connecting rooms and it was provided perfectly, and when we arrived 3 hours earlier we were allowed for early check in even though we haven’t asked the hotel prior to it. The breakfast menu variety is quite boring from day to day even though the taste is superb (try the balinese pork sausage).

The hotel is so spacious, and we can rent the bicycles for a very affordable rate. The kids really enjoy with the duck feeding (the ducks are so cute). The white sand beach is clean even though the sea water is a contaminated by the oil due to the water sport nearby (it’s quite annoying though).

Sadly the hotel is quite occupied during the new year time, so we couldn’t get the late check out request granted. Overall, it is worth to stay at this hotel, sincerely recommended!

We spent our last 4 days in Bali here and we weren't disappointed. The staff were very friendly, and nothing was to difficult to arrange. The grounds were very beautiful, and the pool area was relaxing and the staff very attentive. We stayed in a suite which accommodated our family of 4. Plenty of privacy and separate bathroom from the kids. The room service was excellent and accommodating to special requests.

We ate at the Pizzeria for lunch one day, and the pizzas were excellent. Thoroughly recommend the Sunday Brunch with its huge selection of food and you get a discount if staying at the hotel. The Regency Club was very well set out and the breakfast provide a wide range of choices. Eggs were made to order and the pancakes very fluffy. The food in the evening was delicious with a selection of noodle soup and grilled snacks. Plenty of cold selections as well a variety of breads. No need to go out for dinner.

It is in the middle of everything in Sanur so walking alone the boardwalk became a daily event. It is quieter than other parts which suited us to end our holiday. They also allow access to all the facilities if you are on a late evening flight, including access to showers etc. Overall, we will definitely return but for a little longer next time.

Excellent for access at Sanur beach which is a nice beach where it is possible to swimming (notbthe case with all Bali's beaches) This Hyatt Regency was recently renovated and the quality of the rooms is remarkable. The service is extremely devoted. The access to Regency Club for breakfasts is really a plus to enjoy a relaxing area and an extremely rich variety of choice. The other restaurants are more common and the cleaningnes of the beach side restaurant needs to be improved.

Everything to do with the Hyatt Regency was amazing. Staff went above and beyond, the rooms were out of this world and the overall experience was outstanding. Definitely recommend 100% ! There is no better place to stay than here.

From the time you step foot on Hyatt regency grounds, the staff are attentive and provide all the help they can. Check in process is effortless and you are welcomed with a warm greeting and a cold towel.

The rooms are absolutely stunning regardless of where you are situated. My room had all the amenities I needed for my stay and was accompanied by a beautiful view of Sanur beach. The bed was massive and was the definition of comfortable and lush. Beautiful linen and the most amazing pillows. All rooms have JBL speakers to use in the room during your stay which I thought was unique and a great accompaniment to the room. There was also a great size tv in the room and a minibar that is stocked daily with bottles water.

During my stay I had free buffet breakfast offered from 6:30 to 11am. This would have to be my favourite part of my stay. Normally the buffet breakfast consisted of you being able to select what food you desired however because we were in bali during the COVID-19 pandemic, the hotel made the decision to provide an a la carte menu to ensure health and safety standards are being upheld.

Everything they provided as an option for breakfast was absolutely delicious! I definitely recommend the eggs Benedict, mie goreng and waffles! Along with the breakfast options, there were a selection of fresh juices, yoghurts and fruits along with cereals.

This hotel is massive ! During my stay I probably only visited a third of the hotel. It is situated conveniently on Sanur beach which provides you with access to local restaurants and bars as well as beachside spas and shops.
The hotel has two restaurants on the premises. Omang Omang restaurant was where the buffet breakfast was served and the Pizzaria was for lunch and dinner.

I had dinner on the last night of my stay and the Appetisers were definitely the highlight. I ordered the mushroom arancini balls and they were absolutely Devine. Another highlight would be the Hyatt Regency Signature Iced Tea. This drink is refreshing, sweet and the perfect drink for a hot day or night.

Overall my stay was exceptional. Especially with all the virus dramas going on and the scares for travel restrictions that were put in place for Australia and New Zealand. The staff definitely made our stay comfortable with all our family and made our experience at the Hyatt memorable.

Stayed in the King Bed Premium room (see pictures). Located on the ground floor, one can walk out straight onto the grass patches and beach. Do check with reception as to where the room is located/faces as some rooms open up next to foot paths or main passage ways to the club. Only thing separating you and the curious gaze of onlookers are curtains that are secured by velcro tapes (not joking here).

Hotel has been renovated and facilities are relatively new. Love the outdoor jacuzzi pools near the gym and spa.

Located on Sanur beach, it is quite far from a lot of the Bali action like beach clubs and activities. Something to consider when booking.

Have been to a few Sunday Brunch in Bali over the years. Can only compare to Ritz Carlton in Nusa Dua and W Resort in Seminyak. I can’t quite remember what we paid for those two, but Hyatt Regency was $45.00 plus plus. Fortunately friends are Global Members so we got 20% off (basically reduced tax out)
It’s set outdoors at their pizzeria, with an indoor desert room. Soft drinks & juices included but alcohol package very expensive to add on. I would say the W has a far better set up with many more options of seafood, sushi etc and complimentary glass of bubbles and when we went the beach cabana included. It’s a bit more casual as on beach so no need to dress up

Janice. The king premium club (from memory) are on the ground floor and have an outdoor seating area. As they are on the ground floor, sea view is not going to happen. The deluxe club rooms (we have just returned from one) are above the premium and only have a quite small outdoor area but a bigger enclosed area rather than an open air one. Children would love a premium as they can run from the room straight to the pool or beach. Send an email to the hotel and ask for clarification - they are really helpful. Best Stewart
