This is a great value hotel on the bypass. The rooms and grounds were very clean. The room was modern but the bathroom unusual. It had a shower curtain but water still went everywhere. The basin was quite chipped and very poor lighting. Water pressure was only ok in the shower. The gardener was tidying up everyday. The staff were lovely and friendly. They sent out my laundry for 30000rp per kilo which was much appreciated. The breakfast girls were polite but the breakfast was very ordinary. If it wasn’t included I would have given it a miss. The tv had many channels with good picture. The pool was cool and inviting but but was about a 50cm step to get in. Needs one more step. Pool is on shade most of the day but lounges had sun or shade. I could still hear loud pumping music at 1am every night. Not sure where it was coming from but was annoying.

Delightful hotel close to shops, restaurants and beach. Ignore that it’s close to the bypass as you’ll barely notice it. Staff are really friendly, pool area lovely and rooms clean, modern and bright. Breakfast choices good and phallic Morning Glory creamy scrambled egg ensemble is particularly tasty! 5/6 minute stroll to great section of the beach rounds up why you should choose this very well priced hotel. McDonalds is just a cheeseburger throw away for when you need a break from Nasi Goreng.

Hidden gem, what you don't expect at the entrance on a busy road. Relaxing garden and swimming pool. Nice and helpful staff. Great diverse breakfast. Very modern rooms, well cared for. Shower may be a bit more constant with water jet.

Terrible location. Very busy road but the hotel is set back so no traffic noise but when you walk out the front you are on a horrible 6 lane main road full of fast food outlets. No where near the beach. Long walk down a busy road full of motorbikes to get to the water. The hotel looks OK but on closer inspection it is shabby. For breakfast, you are directed to the pub around the corner which serves horrible food and smells like cigarettes smoke. The worst part was that there was NO wifi. Takes forever to get on line and then it keeps dropping out. I know they can’t do anything about the main road, but surely they could do something about the Wi-Fi! One small positive note was that the staff were very pleasant and helpful. I left early early and moved to another hotel.

Had a great stay at Arena living. The rooms are nice and big, only the shower is a bit dark. There is a 40 inch tv in the rooms with plenty of channels, also streaming is possible if you bring a TV stick. The hotels is recently renovated and looks really good with a nice garden and good size pool. There is 24/7 security and also parking, but not covered parking so your motorbike will be wet or hot. Ordering food from the restaurant is possible but did not do that when staying there, there plenty restaurant/bars at walking distance. Staff is friendly, can really recommend this hotel

We stayed in Arena Living for 5 nights. The Deluxe Double Room was clean and modern. The room came with a balcony which overlooked the pool. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is under a 10-minute walk away from the beach (depending which way you turn out of the hotel.)
Breakfast was included in our booking, however, it was fairly basic and takes place inside the hotel's restaurant/pub which felt very odd. We opted to dine out for breakfast after our first breakfast experience.

My wife and I had visited the restaurant at Arena on multiple occasions some 20 years ago and in those days it presented excellent Western food. This was our first visit in all that time and we stayed for two nights at the rear hotel component at the rear of the restaurant. The accomodation was 'modest', small and not particularly comfortable. The internet didn't work and one had to walk downstairs to gain access. The restaurant was 'mediocre' at best, crowded, very noisy (some dreadful loud music) with meidocre food and. We won't be back!

I've rated Arena Living with 4 stars, they didn't get 5 because of the breakfast. The breakfast is provided in the Arena Pub, the choice on the menu was limited, far from what one would expect. the cooked breakfast was served cold on a few occasions, or the eggs may have been hot, but the rest wasn't. I've stayed at many hotels/resorts in Bali & unfortunately the breakfast was not up to the standard experienced in most other places. However the staff in the Arena Living complex were excellent!

Wonderful value for money. We loved this place. We had a room with direct access to the swimming pool, a 'must' in our opinion. The room very clean, like a 5 star in several countries that we have been to. Perfectly located for our needs. 5-10 minute walk to the beach, 10-15 minute walk to more upscale shops. Warm and very pleasant welcome. The swimming pool is in the center and is surrounded by beautiful plants and trees. At this price, definitely a 5 star.

This is a good hotel where you can have a good rest despite its rather simple room. The room amenities are limited and the interior lighting can be improved. Nicely located with easy access to many restaurants etc.

Hi, We didn't book any meals at this hotel as there are so many eating places in the area, but we did eat there a lot in the evening because we liked the menu and it was very close to our bed at the end of the night. the world cup was on tv when we were there.
There are more places to choose from in the Sanur area.
