Stunning hotel. We stayed in June 2022 for a quick 5 night getaway to relax and see a "tasting" of Bali for a few days. The Ritz Carlton Bali did not disappoint. Impeccable service and beautiful resort. The best buffet breakfast I have ever been to was here, the amount of food and so many regional selections was stunning. Every fruit you could imagine to cheeses to hot soups, and asian food, eggs, etc. AMAZING!

We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite with a pool. It was spectacular. The pool was secluded and private. We liked that there was a second entrance on the side with an outdoor shower and a tub to rinse off after the pool. We were a minute walk to the main pool and beach. And about a 5 minute walk to breakfast. There are gold carts offering to take you if you cannot walk.

The resort pool was stunning. Incredible architecture beauty, just gorgeous. Then you are just steps to the sand and beach. So much washed up bleached coral from the beach and lots of tiny shells.

During our stay there was a wedding at the resort and they married in the church. I was not a guest, just a nosy onlooker. Absolutely breathtaking. I felt like I was watching a scene out of "Crazy Rich Asians" movie where I could see from afar the reception party with the fire dancers and everything. What an amazing wedding and one lucky couple to marry at the Ritz Carlton Bali!

I was really impressed with the price of the food at the pool. It was not your typical Ritz Carlton price and could have a great burger for $12 USD. We ate lunch by the pool every day.

We had 2 dinners at the hotel restaurant that overlooks the garden and ocean and it was beautiful. Photo attached and food was great. On our last night we ate at the resort's Balinese restaurant that is near the main lobby when you check in. It was too windy to sit outside so we sat inside. Food was delicious and the chef even came out to say hello and introduce himself.

I would highly recommend this resort stay because even though you are at the resort you truly can feel some Balinese with the koi ponds, incredible breakfast buffet and overall resort feel. We never saw any monkeys but there were signs up everywhere reminding you of the monkeys nearby.

Honestly, if I could give this property more than 5 stars I would! The resort is huge. It’s located in Nusa Dua, away from the hustle and bustle of Bali. It is such a great way to relax, unplug from everything and just let nature interact with you, whether by water, plants, or even animals! We stayed in The Ritz-Carlton Suite with pool access. The pool was actually shared with about 5 different rooms, but never did we swim with other people whenever we were in it. The resort also has a main pool close to the beach. This pool is actually situated very beautifully. When you face one side, you see the ocean. And when you face the other side, you see trees and plants that envelope the whole property giving a “jungle” but very classy vibe! Like any other resorts, they also have different programs throughout the day that you can participate in.

And of course, the main reason why our stay in the resort became 10x better was because of their staff! Everyone was so attentive to our needs. A very special shoutout to Salim, Reza, Mega and Citra (and other people whose names I didn’t get a chance to get)!! They were just so nice to us! They made sure my partner and I were very well taken care of. I honestly felt sad when we were leaving the property and saying goodbye to them. They actually made an effort to get to know us by names and our preferences in food/drinks. To say that it was a stellar service that they provided is such an understatement. We felt very welcomed during our stay!

I would not even think twice booking another stay here when I go back to Bali. If this is your first time in Bali, it’s absolutely a must for you to stay at The Ritz-Carlton for at least a part of your trip. You can then spend the rest of your trip in a more central location like Seminyak/Kuta as Nusa Dua is almost at the very southern part of Bali and can be quite far from the touristic places. But if you’re looking for a place to unwind, feel very welcomed and enjoy, then look no further!

Thank you so much, The Ritz-Carlton Bali!

We stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Bali for 4 nights and were blown away with the kindness and level of service at this hotel.

We were celebrating my husband's retirement and they recognized this milestone every step of the way.

The hotel grounds are MASSIVE. Fortunately with the hot temperatures and high humidity, there are golf carts ready to take guests to their rooms around the clock.

We typically enjoy making reservations outside our hotel for dinner, but we were so pleased with the hotel's varied restaurants, we only left the property once for a day trip to Ubud area.

If I had one complaint, it was that the pool staff was a little hard to flag down for cocktails and the stay there were on the whole a little less trained to the menu and offerings than the rest of the hotel.

The other thing I would like to point out is that the beach /water is very beautiful, but we found it very difficult to stroll on the beach because the sand was almost like quick sand (I'm very light/petite and would sink in deeply with each step). I'm not sure if it is because they have brought in sand?

As a loyalty of The Ritz-Carlton and St Regis brand, I’m very disappointing of my recent stay at the Ritz-Carlton in Bali. First of all, miscommunication and misinformation of the discount benefits of Marriott member had given to us when we checked in. Though we planned to have all three meals everyday during our staying at the resort but the information given should be correct and not misleading. There was no apology when we found out we are not entitled to the discount. We were still supporting by eating at the resort restaurants regardless. Then, I would love to try the Spa though the price is on the high cost but I did go for it anyway. However it was a big mistake. We booked for 1.30hrs spa and told the Spa choices we picked from the spa menu in advance as per their request. On the day, they did the Balinese Massage to both me and my partner although we picked different type of massages. The therapist who did the massage for my partner had left during her performance for like 30 mins and back for the conclude part of the massage. My partner told me later that day that it was the worst massage he ever had. The therapist must be sick or very new and she did not perform well so my partner did not feel relax nor good after the spa. Considering we paid AUD$200 per person for the 1.30hrs massage, she should not leave 30mins mid-way and still charge my partner the full 90mins rate. Lastly, my partner had forgotten some items inside the room on our last day and when we contacted them to check, they said they cannot see or find the item. This is probably the first and last time for this resort as it shows there is no trustworthy and no integrity of the staffs. We have never stayed in the resorts that we need to be extra careful of our belongings leaving inside our room. One particular front staff who was pretty rude and unprofessional, her name is Fiona. After all these incidents, we decided that we wouldn’t recommend anyone to this resort. On the contrary note, we found that the staffs at most restaurants, particularly at the Bejana, the Ritz Lounge & Bar and the Beach Grilled were super nice and made all our dining wonderful experiences.
That is why I still have given one star here.

This hotel has a lovely beach front location with beautiful gardens and resident monkeys. It was a good way to relax after lots of action in Singapore. The hotel is set on multiple levels on the cliff side so it is some distance to get from your room down to the beach or pool but no big issue. The tide on the beach changes radically which means that you can only swim in the sea when the tide is in but the beach is beautiful. The hotel staff tirelessly clear seaweed from the beach and there are disco pools to explore when the tide is out.

Our disappointment with this hotel was that we stayed 5 nights and at least three of these night there were wedding or pre wedding events which were rather intrusive to our relaxation. The hotel did give us access to the ‘members/VIP’ lounge but we didn’t travel to Bali to sit in equivalent to an airport lounge...This represented limited compensation for the disturbance to our relaxation. One day the entire beach front area was overrun by a pre-wedding party and we along with the other ‘regular’ guests were restricted to a small area of the beach and pool area with no warning. Very disappointed!

We went for a day diving to Nusa Penida which I would recommend, if you are dive qualified. It’s a reasonable drive from the hotel to get on the dive boat but nice dive spots and a good way to get out on the water.

Check in was easy with Noki and Made who explained all of the hotels facilities and hours then escorted us to the room. The room was amazing and so well presented with everything in perfect condition and tastefully decorated with some of the small things making it so nice. The lagoon pool was sparkling clean and such a delight to be able to walk straight into it. Sleep quality was fabulous with the room being so quiet and dark with such a comfortable bed and pillows. We had afternoon drinks by the beach and dinner in the restaurant with our servers being Bertha and Hanetti (I think) with outstanding service from both of them. They allowed us to select from the lunch menu for dinner as neither of us felt like what was for dinner. We chose the chicken burger and beef burger which were presented beautifully and looked so appetising. We couldn't finish the whole burger so they packaged it up for us to take to the room for a snack later...this was a lovely gesture. The hotel grounds are in immaculate condition and so pleasant to walk around and explore the property. The buggy was great making it easy to get to the lobby with or without luggage and the drivers so nice and great ambassadors for the resort. Check out was easy with Enno and we had the pleasure of meeting Hety who we had a great chat with and told her all about our fabulous stay. We would also like to thank Nita (or Nila) from housekeeping for the personal welcome card and how well the room was prepared. We will be back

Stayed 3 nights with my husband for our babymoon. We had the pavilion villa with pool access. Warm service from all staff throughout. Special mention to our butler, Dika, for the nice handmade cards. Also to Desi at Senses, for remembering us by name. Excellent and friendly housekeeping team that keep our room clean and tidy.

Room is clean and comfortable. Huge bathtub. Loved the private pool. There were some mosquitoes in the room that probably came in from outside which the housekeeping staff helped to take care of. Villa was close to main pool and the beach. Sunscreens of different SPFs and ice water provided at the main pool.

Dined at the Beach Grill and Breezes which provided good food and nice ambience. Spa is spacious, clean and comfortable. Activities available within the hotel, my husband enjoyed the cocktail class.

Will recommend the Ritz.

The people are what always take me back to the RC. The housekeepers, Surya, Satra and Nila were wonderful. John the GM warmly welcomed me upon check in. The service was welcoming while not being overbearing.

The facilites are well kept, although some are understandably mothballed given the pandemic. Upgrade was given in keeping with Bonvoy Platinum status.

Working from Bali, my priorities were high speed internet and cleanliness, and the RC delivered on that as always. Raymond the head of F&B kindly sent me sustenance (home made cookies) for me to much on while I was hopping from vcall to vcall.

Glad to see the staff keeping their heads high despite the pandemic. I'll return again for sure.

We stayed at Sawangan Junior Suite for 2 days in 2 rooms. The service is impeccable! We have been moving places for a month between Nusa Dua, Jimbaran and Benoa. Ritz is absolutely the best experience. The room is spacious, there is a seperate walk in closet, toilet, seperate shower and tub. Plenty towels for your need. Check in was very fast and the staff showed us the hotel and its facility then took us to our buggy that brought us to our suite. The room was very clean with living room, and dining area with large balcony. Our housekeeper Dwi, Yani and Juni/Joni would clean up our rooms twice a day. In evening session, they would closed the blinds, put the glass and water bottles next to our bed, as well as remote TV. Our blanket has been tuck out so we can just simply slip into our bed to sleep. I would like to shout out to Dwi and Yani from Ritz Carlton Bali Housekeeping, they have been very much impressed me and touch me with their kindness. I have been a fans of Salak Bali which we had as our welcoming fruit in our rooms. Upon knew that Salak Bali is my fave fruit, when we returned back to room, we found several Salak Bali in our fruit basket and upon our departure, Dwi packed us a farewell basket of several Salak Bali with the note. Thank youuuuu so muchhh!!!! We will never forget your impeccable service. We had dinner twice at The Beach Grill and at our last dinner, the kitchen staff brought us a chocolate cake as farewell to us. The breakfast were served at your tables, you can choose as many food as you like to have and they would bring them to your table. The food is of couse Ritz standard. Thank you, Chef Joko for being so kind to us. He would often brought out the food he made that morning for all guests to try. We loveeeeeee the egg tart that he made from Shanghai recipe. My mom left few items in her room upon our departure. We called Ritz as we have been leaving Ritz and spoke with Mr Ambara and thank you so much to tracking them down and found my mom's items. Again Dwi from housekeeping has been saving us great deal amount as she found them and kept them aside. Thank you so much, Ritz Carlton Nusa Dua!

From reading some of the prior comments, I was really worried, but I just stayed there and had a wonderful time. Although some of the prior negative comments have some validity, in general, everything was wonderful.

I too got upgraded to a Ritz-Carlton Suite as a Marriott Titanium and paid for Club access. The suite was just lovely and really liked the balcony. Although it did not have an ocean view, it was a great shaded place to relax, even at night.

The service was very friendly. The GM came to meet me to say hello at the Club. Everyone always tried to help out. Sometimes there were communication issues with housekeeping or there were other minor lapses (such as removing, but not replacing towels at evening turn-down, or delivering a shirt on a hangar when folded was requested) but that was all minor (English is, of course, not the language here). All minor demerits.

I must say that having Ritz-Carlton Club access really helped too. The food there was just amazing. One evening the chef made a superb molten chocolate cake for me, which was just delicious and was really molten. The lobster and scrambled eggs each morning was delicious.

Even the laundry was good. Two items of laundry were included in the Club package and they did a really good job on my pants.

I would definitely go back.

I am a former Ambassador Elite member (2023) and currently a Titanium member and the answer here is generally no. The lounge access at Ritz Carlton's is highly prized and is not extended to Ritz guests who have not paid for it as a policy. However, this can vary from property to property based on my personal experience. My suggestion would be to contact the Bonvoy Loyalty Manager at the property and ask them directly.

If you meant “club lounge”or Ritz club at Bali, I don’t think there is any. At least they didn’t inform us during our stay in December .

Hi, I'm from Korea. Bali itself doesn't seem to be that expensive compared to Australia. I don't recommend this resort if you want a very cheap trip. But if you want a more fancy and comfortable trip, I definitely recommend this hotel! (I calculated the exchange rate, it was around 129150 rupees in Australian dollars! I had migorain for hotel room service, and it was around 20 Australian dollars! Compare that!:-)) Have a nice trip!!

We have booked a suite for 2 adults and 2 children aged 10 & 11- I contacted the hotel via WhatsApp to ask regarding bedding and they were extremely helpful- we have the existing sofa being set up as a bed for one child and have paid for an extra rollaway bed for the other. They can be contacted on +62 819-1849-8988 hope that helps 👍🏼
