We had a very pleasant stay at Alam Bali. The place is very well kept and quiet and the staff were very nice and accommodating with us.
We definitely look forward to staying there the next time we travel to Bali.
We would like to thank very much the manager of Alam Bali who made us feel very welcome there.

We have been staying at alam bali for 4 nights and liked it very much. We paid 230k rp for the night, breakfast included. The hotel pool and garden are very nice, same as the rooms. You live in little huts with balinese flair. Rooms have seen some years but are clean. They have ac and wifi. The hotel staff is the best we met so far. Always helpful and friendly. Very good English speakers too!! I think it is a good hotel for budget travelling, if you are looking for high comfort it is not the right place. For us it was great. Thanks for having us alam bali!!

We stayed in alam bali twice while travelling in indonesia. We stayed 10 days during our second stay. The staff is so lovely and helpful. Chryse, the manager, recommended 2 great places to eat. During our stay i got really sick and had to go to the hospital for 2 days. He came to visit me ! And when i came back all the staff made sure that i had everything that i need. The rooms are really clean and comfortable. Swimming pool is also nice. I highly recommend this place, to me it was one of the best place i've stayed at during our 2 months trip in Indonesia and i was really sad to leave alam bali.

Alam Bali and all the staff, Ketut, Chris, and all the girls, are the best!! The most amazing service, friendliness, and cameraderie in this place. Ketut and Chris play guitar in the evenings. Ketut even upgraded us to a bigger room at no extra charge. Swimming pool brilliant, and just outside the room. Nice breakfast cooked fresh every morning. Pool is sheltered and surrounded by franjipani gardens and statues. Good restaurants and bars close by, and about 2 min walk to the beach. Transport from Chris is cheap, great aircon in the car, and a very safe driver. Couldnt get a better place if you tried.

The staff is really amazing here! They are the best and will help you with anything with a big smile. We stayed here twice and in total 4 nights. The rooms are not that big but nice and cool with AC and really clean. The bathroom is a bit outdated but works good! The pool is pretty big for this small place where you directly feel at home. Breakfast is also good. All in all; value for money! Worth it!

I am on Bali for a while now and Alam Bali was my very first hotel here. Since then, I haven't experienced a nicer and more flexible staff than this one. The room was 19€ through booking.com which is a very good price for this standard. Air Condition, comfortable clean bed and bath, porch... all you can think of (in this price range of course). I would definitely come again!
P.S. Since some ppl here wrote "worn out": When I was there (7th Nov 15) they were currently renovating 2 rooms and the pool area. It's supoosed to be done around the 21st. My room and the room next to mine were definitely still okay :)

When we first arrived to Alam Bali we were upgraded to their sister resort due to the Value Deal. My partner and I were so excited and couldn't believe our fortune. We even extend our stay until we were due to leave Bali. Except for our last night we had to stay in Alam Bali. We may have been spoilt with our upgrade but Alam Bali didn't hit the mark. The staff are great, really friendly, any questions answered, shuttle service - they always jump to your needs. The rooms however in Alam Bali need a good renovation. They are worn and tired. At the time we were there some sewage problems, the smell of disgusting & black worms were in our bathroom. Because of the open sections of the rooms Mosquitos can easily get in, maybe invest in some netting to cover these open areas. If the property was renovated it would have been ideal for budget and friendly staff.

It is a typical of Balinese shelter. Very warm, helpful staffs and the owner Komang and Ketut treated us like their friend. Breakfast was awesome! They make you some fresh "mie goreng" with veggie, so tasty! U really got what you have paid. Highly recommended for Budget traveller and wish to be treated like U were home..

We just got home from Bali Village this morning. Yes, we were happy to be back in our clean home following three nights in one of their rooms but my wife and I have very mixed feelings about this hotel.

Bali Valley is very typical of homestays found all over Bali in this price range. Our large room with king bed, large outdoor private bath, dirty pool with cloudy water, flat screen TV, mosquito infestation, dirty floors, clean linens, small towels, mildew odor, minimal room cleaning, and dirty fridge was only per night. All this right in the middle of Nusa Dua, Bali's pre eminent five star hotel village with room fees out of this world.

Many here have complained about the staff. We found them to be both friendly and helpful, giving us towels when needed and two wonderful jack fruits right from the tree in the lovely garden.

For great location, nice staff, lovely garden, low price, this place can't be beat in Nusa Dua...highly recommended if you can live with the negatives.

Room Tip: Don't stay in one of the small rooms...they look like prison cells...get one of the high...
