My husband and I together with our two adult daughters and 2 grandchildren (5 and almost 2) recently spent 5 days in a 3 bedroom pool villa at the Novotel Nusa Dua Resort. We have had many family holidays in Bali but this exceeded our expectations.
The resort is well maintained with lots of beautiful greenery. The pool is very kid friendly. There is plenty of pool seating and the poolside drink and food service is friendly and efficient. The beach club is great but remember no food service before 12pm.
The location is good because it is a short walk to several great restaurants and a short taxi ride to many other restaurants in the area.
It really was a villa experience with all the resort amenities.
We used Bali Baby Hire for the pool fence. They offered clear communication and the pool fence was fantastic. They took extra care to ensure entry into all areas of water was not possible.
We will be back sooner than later.

We were happy with our stay at this hotel, booked the Scoupon and the inclusions were great. The resort is huge and a little overwhelming at first because of its size but once you settle in and find your way away it is fine. Room was nice but pillows very hard and room was quite dark. Housekeeping was below par and we had to continually ask for top ups of water coffee etc, cleaning was very ordinary. We found all staff to be friendly and helpful some more so then others. Buffet breakfast plentiful as was Balinese theme dinner with beautiful balinese dancing. Reception staff helpful and friendly, special mention to Dita. Also special mention to the beautiful staff at day spa, amazing atmosphere services and staff. Recreation staff were funny,entertaining and friendly. ❤️Pool was nice once we found the deep part, cocktails a bit pricey but nice. A little more signage or information would be helpful as to where nearest atm is would be helpful as would this and other services guide information be helpful in room. The checked out guests showers is a great idea to use once you've checked out prior to your flight as was being able to leave our bags in "locked" room. Shuttle to the beach fantastic. Terima kasih banyak to all the staff for looking after us and making our stay wonderful, we will return.🙏

We stayed for 8 nights in a three bedroom ground floor private pool room. The room prices are value for money. The rooms are a little dated and looking tired but you get what you pay for. For us it was about having a large room not a flashy new renovation. The beds were comfortable, the showers hot and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The room was hard too fault. Housekeeping just need to be a little more pro-active when restocking towels, toilet paper etc. Having said that, things were delivered to our room quickly when we asked for them.
We were at the breakfast buffet every morning. This was a little underwhelming. There really needs to be more staff in the buffet area in the morning to set and clear tables. The restaurant area lacks fans and could do with more fans mounted on the pillars to circulate the air. Someone taking (paid) expresso coffee orders would also be a suggestions as the coffee machines don’t produce very nice coffee. There were plenty of food options, but maple syrup for the kids pancakes was something not on offer. I’ve never stayed in a hotel where there was no maple syrup when pancakes were on offer.
We were traveling in a large group so we ate dinner at the buffet two nights. Both dinners were over priced and very average food at best. Don’t bother with the buffet, there are plenty of nice restaurants outside of the resort to chose from at a third of the price. Poolside dining was cheap and consistently good in quality and service. We ate most days by the pool. The cocktails were also great. The poolside prices were half the price of neighboring resorts.
Overall it was a great family holiday and we would definitely return with the kids. If you are kid free and want a luxury holiday, the Novotel probably isn’t the place for you.

We purchased a Scoopon for the Novotel and we were pleasantly surprised at what amazing value we received. Lovely staff , close to markets and shops , beautiful beach just a short bus ride away provided by the hotel . Large family rooms and the Manager at breakfast always ready to bend over backwards for your needs .

If you are used to modern hotel and amnesties than this hotel is not for you. The hotel is very old and Accor needs to revamp this hotel. We stayed in Jan this year and we enjoyed Bali as a destination but the room was not up to par. The toilets have the old fashion flushing system, and the bathroom shower hot & cold system was from ancient days. The floors are all wood. They don't have a beach front but they have a private beach which is only a few seconds away and they have free shuttle from the beach to the resort. We were traveling with a toddler and had requested for early check in but we had to wait past 3pm to check in the room.

We are a Finnish couple living in Spain and arrived for a planned one week stay at the Novotel Bali Nusa Dua end of March 2020. Due to Covid-19 pandemic situation our flight back home was cancelled various times and we ended up staying 3 months in Novotel.
The friendly and professional staff in Novotel made our stay very enjoyable and we loved the beautiful pool garden and the well equipped gym. We liked the walks on the nice pathway next to the beach and the beautiful surroundings of Nusa Dua.
We stayed two weeks in Accor Club and rest of the stay in Novotel apartments and they were spacious and clean. Free wifi worked well and made it possible to work our business from our apartment without interruption.
Finally we are safely back home again and we very much like to thank the staff, reception, housekeeping, gym team and the management having created a positive experience for us and we can recommend the Novotel Bali Nusa Dua to couples and families alike. We hope to be back some day, part of our heart is staying in Bali!

I’m writing this review whilst I’m still at this wonderful resort, but leaving in 2 days time and heading back to freezing Melbourne Australia!!
I’ll give full Credit to every staff member in what I can say are the most courteous, friendly and well spoken people you’ll ever come across. I’ve read some past reviews and someone said their grounds were dirty and untreated, well I can ensure you the ground staff are in full swing first up in the morning in making this place immaculate and in mint condition.
The pool area is well presented and the staff again are in full swing in cleaning the dropped leaves from the trees in the water before it is used. Child care is available, tour desk is there but given covid is still around, I believe there’s not many tour’s happening!
No swim up bar but the staff are always around to serve you a cold drink and a snack if required. I don’t want to put a downer on there breakfast, I think the buffet selection in their warmers need to be a little hotter!! Dinner, well again really not much happening and would advise to go out of the sercurity and turn left at the roundabout where you will find restaurants which are well respected!
If you want your washing done, head out the back past the cafe and you will find a laundry and a great massage at a great price - separate of course!! If you want to head into Kuta, order a blue taxi and go over the toll bridge for around $13.00. Trust me it’s worth it as I’ve done it many times!!
I had a suite room, very nice and roomy but a little out dated. 4 Seater breakfast/ dinner table, very comfy couch, king size bed, good kitchen area with a fridge/ freezer and a good size balcony over looking the pool area. Around the bath area very stained as the water runs off the side of the bath and drips on the floor to the drain hole! ! Air conditioner works extremely well and the room staff who clean your room are very good.. we had 3 staff members who cleaned our room in most times..
If someone would ask me would I come back to this resort and I would not hesitate to give them a thumbs up! All in all, well done and hopefully next year when I come back, things are in some what normal due to covid, cause I can assure you that the things I normally do, aren’t around at present!!
Oh, one more thing, if you play golf as I, the Ball international golf resort is next door. The hotel staff are very happy to take you to the course. 18 holes with cart and a very switched on caddy will cost you around $ 173 Australian dollars, but well worth it! Make sure you have plenty of spare balls. As I have a handicap of 2, this would be one of the hardest courses I’ve ever played.. good luck!! Enjoy your stay 😁👍

Nusa dua is a very safe feeling area, gated with security. The hotel check in process here is very slow, they have very limited supply of umbrellas so if you go in wet season take your own or you will be stuck like us with out one. Over all the facilities are good , breakfast has loads of choices. bbd dinner on the beach isnt anything special. would be better if the pool was open later as the beach also gets closed and you have no options to swim at night. the day spa here was probably our fav part of the resort, the ladies there are amazing and well worth the price t o get pampered by. over all a good stay here.

This hotel has a number of positives and a few negatives. The rooms are large, we enjoyed the two bedroom apartment which had a lot of space. The food prices are very reasonable, the grounds are well maintained, money charger rates were comparable to on the street and it is a short walk to shops and restaurants. The few negatives is the hotel is not on the beach but you can walk around 500 metres to a beach location for guests, the pool area is not well maintained with loose pavers around the pool and there are not many other activities to entertain the kid who were too old for kids club. This is a four star hotel that provides good value for money. As you would expect the Balinese service is very good.

If you go out the back of the property to one of the road ways through the security gate, look to your left and you will see a message place on the other side of the road and next door is a laundry. Highly recommended and very cheap. They was and iron your clothes..
