Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is our first holiday in 3 years and are so happy to be staying here. Our unit ( get one on the ground floor if available) allows the kids to run in and out of the pool at ease, we love the sunken pool bar in the pool, beers are not too expensive either around 3 bucks. The resort is about 20 minutes away from Kuta though.

We had a nice restful week at this resort. It is within walkable distance of restaurants and the beach. The staff are very helpful snd friendly. We only had one meal at the resort, which was the Sunday roast and that was delicious. We could make our own breakfast in the morning as the unit had a refrigerator and cooking facilities.

This is an new Time Share resort that they call a Members Only resort. It is on the Peninsula, not actually in Nusa Dua Beach. It is on the Bay side with access to their sister resort on the Ocean. The room were beautiful but more like apartments with kitchens. Meals are not included and there appears to be little or no nearby places to eat.
We were tricked into visiting this Resort by a street hawk that told us it was a new property and they wanted us to visit it to consider it for our next visit to Bali. We were given 2 "prize" cards. The first was for 2 t-shirts. The second was the "1st Place" prize that would be either 10 Million Rupiah, a free week at the resort or a week at one of their other resorts but we had to visit the resort to see which one it was. Since we had nothing to do that day other than waiting for our rescheduled Scoot flight, we went to the resort. Our prize was "B" a free trip to another resort to see another time share presentation from Ultimate Holidays

Would not recommend. We stayed resort for 1 week, the towels were stained and didn’t get new ones the whole stay, the varnish off the doors came off and started going onto the floor. Service was very slow, it took 50 minutes to get 2 burgers and there was only 3 costumers at the restaurant. They add whatever they want to the meal if you asked for a meal without something. I asked for no bacon and they gave me ham instead. I asked for no bacon on a different occasion they gave me mushrooms instead. Another time I got a carbonara and had to give it back as I found a long hair in my food. There’s no other places near to get food and have to walk 20 mins to get to other restaurants. The air conditioning in our room wasn’t working when we walked in. The beds aren’t comfy, every time I moved the whole bed would be creaking.

Not happy Jane! Stayed in the resort for 1 week. Didn’t get our towels replaced the whole time. Shower leaking brown stuff. Towels had stains all over. Aircon not working was leaking. Went for lunch a couple times at the restaurant and waited 40 minutes for food when there was 5 customers and three chefs in the kitchen. Ridiculous. No other places to eat apart from the Main Street which I will be walking to for every meal.

We had Fish & Chips (Dory) and a Grilled Chicken Burger,
The single piece of fried fish would fit in the palm of a had of a 10 year old girl. It was about the same size as a fish finger, if cut in half and placed side by side. There were about 10 chips in the tiny basket. Anywhere else in the world this would not qualify as an entree. To be fair, the fish did taste quite nice, but two mouthfuls covered it. Mind you, it was quite oily/greasy with a film of oil on paper on bottom of basket.
My wife had the Chicken burger. She ate less than half of it. The bun was soggy; the piece of chicken again quite small. My wife has a gallstone problem, so anything that is greasy (think McDonalds/Hungry Jacks) is just impossible for her to eat as the reaction is quite rapid. Reaction came under halfway thru the dish.
We have been in Bali for 2 weeks, and have eaten at a lot of restaurants....this was the smallest meal we have ever seen. In comparison to the multitude of restaurants within a 5 minute walk from this resort, this has very poor offerings...at nearly double the price.
Today we came across two other couples who have tried their food and would never go back. It is really a shame given how good the resort itself is. It always amazes me that some restaurants in such resorts do not seem to understand the simple concept of - good food, good price, full restaurant.
It is no wonder that this restaurant always has just a small number of diners. The management needs to wake up and actually have a look around at what is being offered locally...where the restaurants are NOT empty

SCAM - STREET SCAM

We were approached by a man named Pauluy, who attempted to hand us some lotto cards. Even after we declined, he insisted and mentioned that his family relies on the money he makes from selling these cards and begged us to open them. He gave us the cards and informed us that my husband had won two free shirts and I had won the grand prize of either $1000 AUD, a luxury vacation, or an iPad mini. However, to receive the prize, we had to go to a new hotel and take a tour of it. He added that his employer wants to promote it in Australia and have more Australian visitors.

He was insistent that we get into a cab as he kept saying he would get 50 Australian dollars that would help him support his family, and if we dont go, he won't get paid. We declined, and he kept pushing and trying to hug as and be buddy buddy with us, but both my husband and I felt that it was a scam. After all, who gives away $1000 so easily? He also asked for our names and place of stay so that he could send a car to pick us up tomorrow when we could arrange for someone to look after our kids and that we wouod only be at the hotel for 6 hours. We said no again, and that we had already planned our days. Fortunately, our daughter started crying just then, giving us a chance to leave. We were approached six times during our trip by people offering these cards, so be wary of such scams.

Street scammers give you a lottery ticket, where you always win!! They then jump around excited saying you have to go to the hotel to claim the prize and they also receive $50. We stupidly fell for it but once we got to the hotel we could tell it was a scam so immediately left. Upon reading the other reviews it’s confirmed they try and scam you into purchasing a time share and you never win any of the prizes offered. Don’t waste your time!!

This was our first stay at the Bay resort ( we are members at the Beach) and we had an enjoyable week. Would have rated the resort higher except for the main pool was green!! for the entire duration of our visit. It did not look safe and we wouldn’t swim in it. The resort has other pools but it is difficult to get food and drink service at them.
The staff were excellent and provided great service. Disappointed the sports bar didn’t open till 6.00pm. Food was good but lacked consistency.
The room was very good and housekeeping was also very good.
We had some issues at check in. The transfer from the Beach resort to the Bay resort needs some improvement, it should be seamless. It is not.

We were brought to this hotel and told we had won first prize to have to fill out a form with all our personal information and told its to claim our prize we were sceptical but we’re reassured we then realise we were roped into a timeshare we listened and proceeded to be told we had won a holiday voucher and was given a booklet for a weeks free accommodation for 2 children and 2 adults and the voucher looked rather legit and we had a voucher number and shown the website it all looked like it was real,
Untill recently we went to use the voucher and realised the website was a scam and we booked flights to the uk and was hoping to use our voucher to not hear back from the hotel or the email given to us in our voucher booklet!

Made us feel sick thay they can stoop this low and get away with it time and time again seen so many horror stories after doing more research into this !!
What a disgusting scam and they should be so disgusted to be still running this hotel/ resort after scamming hundreds of people!

Yes they do a Sunday Brunch for 2, both Peninsula Bay and the Beach.
Answer from Diane M

A lot of people use other people's timeshare and don't believe that you will be harassed. The sales staff are very easy to talk to and am sure if you said you weren't interested, if in fact they even contacted you being that you would not be an owner, they would not pursue you. The resort is fantastic and very reasonable prices and compare very favourably with the street cafes. You will however have to pay for room service, so you will need to read the information in the room, all hotels charge for room service.

I would get the 2 bedroom. It's a shame to compromise. You can fit, but privacy is the thing I'd worry about
